It's nice to stay at home for a week. Or 2. Maybe a month. But when you stay at home for 6 months, or 1 year, you dont go out to see people, you feel excluded from a society. You say that because you didnt stay at home for long time. If you stayed at home for 1.5-2 years, you wouldn't say such things. Working 24/7 is bad. But staying at home 24/7 is bad as well. Yeah, maybe with money it would be a little different. But even with money, you would get bored. You can't travel 24/7/365. It's tiring, even simply because of jetlags.

Not really, in my second-hand experience. You're stuck in your "office" in one room, stuck with chores like dishes or trash in other rooms, and even when you're in bed you know you don't have any excuses to not open a door and be in your "office" the next day, outside of dying. You have to have a lot of discipline and self-control to stop yourself from living in filth, because it can be mentally exhausting to do all that and really easy to want to give up on it.On the flip side, you don't have to worry about traffic during the day or getting into a wreck, you don't need to think about something bad happening at the office and you can't go home, and you're with your family more (results will vary on that). So pick your battles I guess.

@xXJesuslovesyouXx you absolutely can. You can build a concrete house for 15k and solar panels for 15k and run geothermal and all you have to do is pay your property taxes and food. Which if you live in a cheap state and are frugal and maybe piddle with a garden your total yearly expenses are so miniscule you could do odds and ends for neighbors for 20 bucks a day and be fine and help your community.

I am landscaper and then I found out that an Exotic pet shop, actually was hiring and I managed to get a job there and be around a lot of really cool animals and it was really cool but it was the first time ever. I worked two jobs at once and I was just getting a little fed up with Even though it was a cool working environment and everything I just didn't like that. I didn't have my weekends to decompress and landscaping. I will work ten hour days , but sometimes these guys wanted me to work from nine am To 8 PM even though it was dealing with reptiles, which I love doing. It was only paying me ten dollars an hour so I wasn't really making any profit to pay bills
I dont care what job you have, no matter what you do, if you had the option to afford anything you ever wanted no one would work. No one likes their job that much. If you say you do youre lying.
