Sultan Suleiman gets poisoned...
When Hurrem learns about it, the life turns into a nightmare for her. No one knows who has made an attempt on Suleiman's life. That's why Hurrem accuses Ibrahim Pasha and Prince Mustafa. A note arrives to Manisa Palace. Sultana Mahidevran gets terrified when she reads what's written on the note. The war between Hurrem and Ibrahim gets even bigger. Hurrem sets a trap for Ibrahim.
As soon as Hurrem learns that Prince Mehmet will serve in sanjak, she directly goes to Suleiman. However, Hurrem finds Suleiman lying on the floor unconscious as she enters in the privy chamber. She provides the doctors intervene right away. Everyone gets terrified as it's learned that Suleiman has got poisoned.
Hurrem prays for Suleiman to get better. On the other hans she has to protect her children. She thinks Ibrahim and Mustafa have a finger in this. Ibrahim gets seriously implicated and he has the bit in his teeth to enlighten this incident.
On the other hand, Manisa Palace gets agitated because of a note received. Mahidevran realizes that there is a spy in the palace. Mustafa's life is in danger. Yahya of Taslica starts to investigate it right away. The mysterious spy makes everyone lose their sleep in the palace.
As Ibrahim investigates who has poisoned Suleiman, he finds out that Firuze is helped to get to Persian lands. Meanwhile, Hurrem has only one goal, which is to get rid of her nemesis. She sets up a trap that Ibrahim rocked.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

The writing changed. The original show developer/screenwriter, Meral Okay, tragically died of cancer in April 2012. She emphasized the love story and the motto “Ask-i Derun” (Deepest Love) is attributed to her. Starting in Season 3, different male writers turned the story into a political story centered around the two executions (Ibrahim in Season 3 and Mustafa in Season 4) and Hurrem is basically abandoned by Suleyman and everyone starts to hate her. She gets blamed for both executions and everything else that goes wrong. Terrible mess with sexist and patriarchal overtones - all fiction.
Can we talk about Hurrem's clothes? God, she looks absolutely stunning in any color.

The Sultan actually feels a little ashamed for his dalliance with an enemy and ignoring Hurrem for long. This deathbed has made him learn a lesson. Hence through poetry he is re committing his love for her. Because he now realises that only Hurrem has undying love for him.

The Baker sells the sin of making bread that is not allowed to other Muslims just so he can make profit. Basically he made them participate in the sin and this is a repeated offence. The judge explained this.
The punishment fits since this is a warning to him and others also.
If the punishment was too lenient, he may continue, he won't be as ashamed or scared to do it.

Yes nailing the baker to the door was not justice at all. In Europe criminals were nailed by one ear and had to pull the ear away. That would hurt but wouldn’t cripple a person the way nailing him by the hand would. Most countries throughout history have food inspectors and market rules. But the way to do it is not occasional inspections with harsh punishments and heavy fines. The key to proper food inspection is constant inspections And small fines. That way the merchants know they can’t cheat...... too much
You could see on his face that he doesn't appreciate the fact that Ibrahim let his son out of prison. Ibrahim should have kept his nose out of the judge's business.

When he was reciting that poem for Hurrem💔 he felt that he was surrounded by betrayal from all sides and she was the only one loyal to him. That's what he was feeling. No way it! 1, He killed her ex 2, Rüstem told he is a river what feeding a lake(Mustafa). He is an older friend of the sultan not a tool(newcomer by Hürrem). He had a plenty of corrupt henchmen e. g. Ludovico Gritti who killed by a revolt in Transylvania.
I felt pity to the Sultan. The burden is so heavy. The problem of the state, the campain,most of all his own family. He felt depressed and afraid to death with the laws that pressured him about his children's lives... He couldn't stand the fact that either he must kill Mustafa or Mustafa will murder his siblings 😔

I never thought about it this way! It was obvious that Mahidevran would not allow Mustafa to let his siblings live. Suleiman said it best when he said that the noise of power can make Mustafa change from promising Mehmet he'll never kill his brothers, to actually doing it when he finally becomes sultan.

Hurrem looks a little bit sad when the Sultan is telling her about his lasting love for her. She has to remember how he treated her over Fruize just before this happened. Cannot trust him ever anymore although I do believe he loves her, but not like she loves him.

In real life after Hurrem there was no other woman in Suleyman's life so this poetry is quite right. All those girls after Hurrem, here in this tv series, were put to make it more dramatic...
Ibrahim has really decided to become an enemy of the judge! Simply because the Sultan has consulted with the judge regarding changes in the laws (without telling Ibrahim). Plus, the judge and the Sultan are developing a closer relationship.
In addition, the judge has been standing up to him, verbally with words is wisdom.
By that time in his life, he removed anyone close to Suleiman except two people. The judge and Hurrem. They didn't die because he had nothing to accuse the judge with and had zero access to the harem so can't get Hurrem.
In other words, Ibrahim is jealous of the judge.
Everybody is fighting for the Throne but no1 is worry for Sultan Suleiman

First of all Suleiman never took any other woman after Hurrem and also as shown in the later episodes he did had a daughter called Raziye but she was born when Suleiman was the sanjak of Manisa even before Hurrem came. Suleiman's last child was Cihangir.
Hurrem was forever his single woman throughout his entire reign. He was devastated when she died in 1558.

Hurrem is always so loving and forgiving when it comes to Sulieman and his lying and cheating and nasty behavior towards her. Even when he really doesn't deserve it. Yet he never can manage to forgive her anything, always exiling her and/or letting his evil witchy sisters run rampant over her. Actually, Frizure never existed. She was a ficticious character just for the show to add drama. Isabella never existed either. She died long before Sueliman was born. He never slept with Victoria or Guiliana As much as Valide, Mahideveran, and the sisters wanted him to. Remember, Sulieman said the one thing he valued the most was loyalty.
