the problem with curling bomb wiper imo is that the main weapon already paints a swimmable line in 1 swipe and moving into enemy space is not something wiper really needs help with so itd probably not get used alot.

Personally as a wiper main, i dont find fizzy unnecessary at all. It would completely outclass curling since it has the same effect where you can travel through a path. Also, if you are being pressured, even thought wiper is a qr weapon, you can play passive and spam fizzy for your special. I would pair it with the super chump special because you can use it to get in, which is really good for wiper, and even use the chumps as a potential combo tool. It wouldn't be common for it to combo but it certainly would help. Its the perfect mix of passive aggressive playstyle because both sub and special can be used in both manners and having a highly moble, high paint, and very aggressive main weapon on top of that would 100% make wiper top 3 at least. for myself i want a new tri stringer kit, i would love to have torpedo and ink storm on it Torpedo's could slow down and track enemies to make them easier to shoot Ink Storm would also work as a good painting tool for longer range and displace enemies from backline to give yourself a entry chance This is just my opinion, but i would love to use the bow more frequently :)
I'm so glad you brought up the bloblobber but I think giving it superchump wouldn't be ideal. I totally agree with having splash wall on the kit (like in s2) but blob being a mid-support needs something to defend itself as well, especially if it's only going to have a defensive sub. I would personally love kraken on a bucket kit but unless they buff superchump, it'd be lack luster. I think giving it wavebreaker would be an amazing choice as well.
If I had to choose one weapon to receive kraken I would choose either gloogas or reeflux. Both could benefit from a more aggressive kit and the new kit could help show what makes the weapons cool (especially reeflux)
Crab and Missiles have to get new kits. Even though they are very broken, there are casual players who like them and want them on more weapons. I think Crab will be on 52 and Missiles will be on Eliter and Heavy (with high points per special)
Also splatana wiper as a main of it myself it does NOT need curling for mobility and if it and dualies had inkjet wiper deco would shove dualies out of the meta

I really like the heavy splatling kit, since it’s vanilla kit focuses on dealing with close range targets this possible new kit will focus on longer range enemies which is heavy’s main weakness hopefully this ends up the case for next season.
The splat bomb is for when you get charged as a range blaster, burt doenst work as a get off tool nor can it poke as well as the splat bomb. Id much rather burst bomb stay on the grim kit cuz it works so much better on that kit which is tuned more for agressive palys rather than the crbs survivability

When u we’re talking about kraken and I saw the range gameplay I yelled out RANGE and then that kit is my FAVORITE DREAM KIT OF ALL TIME sadly kraken is only mid tire but so good my only outher main is Naut my most two used so those back to back gave me a hart attack I’m so excited I know it won’t happen but I can hope lol also wiper does not need curling or a trail to begin with if you wanted a trail for it he was busy because it is curling but better anyways I think first one would be best for it because again really good chip damage is good, but a normal bomb with 30 chip damage isn’t useful enough for it, but that’s never gonna happen so in the end I think it will get well actually I don’t know. I really only thing is a good option is burst shoot.

I would prioritize the H-3 Nozzlenose over the .52 Gal in the position of the shooter weapon because the H-3 so desperately needs a new kit to even consider being viable in any form of play. I'd give it Suction Bomb Wave Breaker

there are certain kits I don't agree with, for one, heavy splatling would just be way too overpowered, one thing about all the crab tank weapons is that none of them are backlines, so to properly use the crab tank they have to get into backline positioning, decreasing the number of good crab tanks they could consistently output. With this heavy however, every crab tank would have consistently good value. If this did become a kit, I think the points per special would need to be super high, like 230 or something like that, especially because of heavy's good safe paint output (honestly similar to splatoon 2 jet squelcher). Splash wall is fine though. I have some things to say about custom range blaster, I think burst is fine for what you mentioned, but if IA ever got buffed for blasters and became usable at top level then I'd definitely like to have a splat bomb, even with the worse ink efficiency the value would be enough to justify playing around. Here's my hot take though, I genuinely think Ultra Stamp is a better fit for range blaster than kraken, because in the jump from splatoon 1 to 3 kraken's fundamental role has changed. What made kraken so powerful in splatoon 1 was that it was an instant activation invincibility special that let you win any fight at close range, something that range blaster struggled with pretty badly. Now that kraken doesn't have instant activation, and isn't as good at close range combat, it's main role is to push through walls in the enemy's defense (especially with the no knockback charge), which, while it could still help range blaster in that way, if we're talking about maintaining the feel of the original kit, Ultra Stamp is a much better self defense special than kraken since you can activate it instantly, and once that encounter is over you can cancel stamp at any time and get good value from the throw, whereas with kraken, even if you win that encounter your team is still left without a range blaster for 7 whole seconds, which can hurt a lot (btw shorter duration is another way in which splatoon 1 kraken was a better self defense special specifically on weapons that output a lot of pressure). A weapon that I feel would do great with kraken instead would be octobrush, it's had it since day 1, it's already pretty agressive, and I think kraken could help it get into a lot of different angles and push through some unfavorable matchups. I would also like to say that I think all brellas should get new kits, they've been neglected a lot in that department, none of the kits were planned for what the weapons want to do, arguably splat brella has the best kit out of all of them because of its special, but it's still far from good considering the big points per special cost compared to other weapons, the fact that it's a supportive kit on a weapon that wants to play agressive, as well as sprinkler, which might as well be a placeholder for "we didn't want to give this weapon a sub", so I think your sorella kit is pretty great. I think tenta brella needs a better skirmishing kit, burst bomb or fizzy (or maybe line marker or curling if they buff it enough) for quick cheap movement & poking pressure, and some type of selfish frontline special like kraken, ultra stamp, reefslider, or tacticooler could all work. Undercover desperately needs an actual support kit, any bomb would do (preferably torpedo) and a supportive special with high value like super chump or wave breaker would be great. I like most of these kits tho, especially ballpoint, I really really want that one.
I personally want a NEW special to be introduced, or rather a returning one; Bubbles Now, don't get me wrong; the special back in S2 was extremely overpowered, but I believe with some debuffs to how much damage your main and sub weapon can do to the bubbles, the special can be balanced. Honestly don't care how strong it is, I love the special and would main any weapon that it was put with, even if the weapon were a Bamboozler. I was extremely disappointed when Forge splattershot pro, my main back in S2, got introduced to S3 with Booyah Bomb instead of Bubbler What im trying to say is: Bubble silly bubble pro come on guys lets try to convince Nintendo

And splat bomb, well, it's splat bomb but yeah you can replace it with fizzy or burst bomb if you want, I just think the devs wouldn't do it, because it has already a good "foward path maker" ability and burst is in stamper already.
Okay I have said this a million times and I will say it again /nm, Custom Range Blaster shouldn't get Burst Bomb because it would take it away from the Grim Range Blaster later on, and as such good kits we'd be able to get in the future for that weapon such as burst storm or burst missile wouldn't be a thing. I'm biased, I'll admit, I want my grim range back, and I don't want it to lose the burst bomb.
I know what im about to say is about to get bashed to bits but, Being a dualie main since splatoon 2 and loving kraken in splatoon 1 i always hoped that enperries would get Kraken Burst or splat or a supportive special. I honestly felt like "Hey, nintendo should add a little more spice into making kits instead of making returning kits." i also though since enperries literally had a Kraken on their logo it would be a good fit, but i think inkjet will be the win.
Hot-ish take, there shouldnt be any new shooters introduced next season. They already make up a third of the sandbox and other classes need more options. Brellas, brushes, splatanas, etc.

2 burst directs is unreliable and takes 90% of your ink tank meaning you can’t shoot after without sub saver and you can’t run sub saver because of intensify on range. Splatbomb overall is a better and more reliable get off me tool and poking tool for slow weapons.

I know what im about to say is about to get bashed to bits but, Being a dualie main since splatoon 2 and loving kraken in splatoon 1 i always hoped that enperries would get Kraken Burst or splat or a supportive special. I honestly felt like "Hey, nintendo should add a little more spice into making kits instead of making returning kits." i also though since enperries literally had a Kraken on their logo it would be a good fit, but i think inkjet will be the win.

Hot-ish take, there shouldnt be any new shooters introduced next season. They already make up a third of the sandbox and other classes need more options. Brellas, brushes, splatanas, etc.

as a heavy main I would freak out if someone gave us crab-
crab would make it instant meta and waaaay more horrible to counter than splash
2 burst directs is unreliable and takes 90% of your ink tank meaning you can’t shoot after without sub saver and you can’t run sub saver because of intensify on range. Splatbomb overall is a better and more reliable get off me tool and poking tool for slow weapons.
1 burst direct + 1 indirect range blaster shot is the combo im talking about
@@dreamyzack But that is not what range wants. Range wants a close range tool and its range isn't helped by a burst bomb. Just shooting it is more effeciant than a burst bomb
