Good mod but sound slightly thin because of the lack of backpressure, cut off on a slant of 70 millimeters to 90 millimeters off the dB reducer tube you removed and refit it.. The slant cut will recover x amount of backpressure and give you a "Unique phase variant" of sound through your revband when under torque. Happy day's Baza. 😊
My ISB arrived at the dealer on Tuesday. They have a box of parts to install on it including the S&S slip on (with the db removed). Should be picking it up on Tuesday/Wednesday! Can't wait to hear it in person.
Thanks for the video. I can tell the difference. Not extreme in the video but I'm sure it is much more noticeable in person. My slip on comes in tomorrow🎉
Great comparison 👍🏻 Like @cobras559 says you can hear the difference. I think for EU countries it's a great exhaust beside the J&H that will probably produce one in the near future.
One reviewer talked about the ticking coming from the engine. Do you know what the ticking is and does it seem to bother you? I am considering the 101 or a 2022 fat bob.
@@kirk9899 I guess there is a ticking. Does not worry me, this is our 3rd liquid cooled Indian and I always just figured a characteristic of the motor! I had a good discussion in the comments of another of my 101 videos comparing this bike to the Lowrider S if that helps! Good luck deciding!
Nice! What other plans do you have to do to it? Interested in some info on the 101 handlebars, what is the total width of them from end of grip to grip?
Thanks! It is 31” from end of grip to end of grip. Next steps are black levers, tune and license plate relocation. We are undecided on risers, originally thinking 10” risers but cable supply issues stalled us and now may leave as is! This may be the first bike ever where I do not upgrade the seat!
@@tomcat9549 not noticeable. The Scout motor has less torque than any V twin I have owned but very high power so is best ridden in the upper rpm anyway to access that power!
@@ronrosenkaimer1096 ship me the parts you want installed and I will install them 😂 Seriously though black levers will be next, a license plate relocation and maybe taller risers, so stay tuned!
Actually, the fact that the factory S&S has a removable DB that easy is way beyond fantastic. I can appreciate the difference between the stock and the aftermarket without mod, definitely I can see the difference noise once the DB has been removed. Excellent video as always!!. 👏👏👍👍
Dear EPA, CARB, Eurocrats: we really don't want our engines to sound like a wet fart pushed through 18 paper bags... or have to pay the extortion tax to put exhaust on them, and tune the engine to run at stoichiometric ratio. And then you take said extortion funds to turn around and make it worse every few years.
Nice work. Thank you. The S&S slip on is arguably the best bang for buck whilst still retaining an OEM look. It’s what I’d be fitting to the 101.
@@marcusgeorge1825 thanks! A few more options out now but I am really happy! 🤘
Thanks for the video and thanks to #sscycle for being there so soon after the 101 was released!
@@ronhoppner agree great to have an option so early! I had the pipe before the bike!

@@DianeWainwright-b7g Interesting tip. Is it more of a seat dyno feel or have you tested this?

With the dB reducer removed, did you notice a drop in low end torque? I wonder if the loss of back pressure is noticeable.
