Wow! I had not realized how elite KP's rim protection was last year statistically speaking. Of course, he looked great by the eye test but I hadn't realized he was in the high 90th percentiles in all the rim protection categories. Couple that with his post-up efficiency and we just got back our most irreplaceable player. Even with Al being a great defender, he's not 7'3" with long arms. Even Queta looked like he benefitted at least in terms of coming off the bench and facing the Clips second unit. Having another big who plays like a big must also be a good reminder to Queta on just how to use his length and size in game. Great game all around. P.S. I'm also gonna shout out D White's save of the ball from going out of bounds and his subsequent pass-pass-and pass back with Queta. That was straight Larry Bird. Hustle coupled with cerebral execution of such a simple play. It was fucking beautiful to see. This team has a chance to match or even exceed that dominate dynasty of the 80's and hot damn, I'm here for it! Go C's!!!
Thanks for the breakdown, Nik. I expected KP to look a little more hesitant to go body to body with Zubac but, no. KP looked ready to go. Not many teams will have an answer for this added firepower from the Celts.
His shooting was a little rusty but i was amazed by his defense. He was playing so physical and athletically Kp white pnr is such a broken unguardable play. Great to see that was still working
The key to the Celtics being truly unbeatable is unlocking the ability to definitively win non-Tatum minutes consistently. KP makes that a realistic possibility. Can’t wait to watch him get into rhythm over the next few weeks. This team has the potential to be one of the best to ever take the court

Great first game back for KP. That second quarter is what happens when the C's have all their weapons - watch out! Have a great T-day, Nik!
You too!
If Kristaps Porzingis stay healthy next season & consistent 2025 playoffs Boston big chance get #19 banner next season 💯 no doubts 💪🔥💪
not bad for a KP warmup. will be scary when he and JB have the cookies and cream game going.

Thank you!

I’m a happy camper.
It's like KP boxes out for the J's and they just grab the ball after misses.
#helpless! 🤣🤣🤣
Great stuff as usual. KP makes things awfully easy for his teammates but really really bad for the competition.
10 seconds!
Quickness
@niknba obsession. Watch out for stalkers.
Porzingis is 7ft 3 tall
