If Jayson Tatum Plays Like This It’s Over: Film Session
14:56 this mistake by jrue I immediately winced at. He’s usually so aware on defense and this was such a bad and crucial mistake
Agree about tatum, refs were missing calls for him all night (especially after atkinson yelled at the refs). But he has to move on from it quicker. I feel like its been a while since the last time tatum was like this
🎯
Well done bro. Keep going. Thank you.
Preciate you and I will
❤❤❤
❤️❤️
I love PP but in this video it really looked like some of those screens were moving screens.
When the going gets tough, PP stands out, improve his shooting from beyond the arc, helps Celtic recover, when other players perform below par.
Love that 'switch screen' at the end of the clip. Tatum going to the tin!
Crazy that PP is only the 7th best current Celtic. I love his toughness especially. When the game is going badly and everything is mucked up and ugly, that's when PP is at his best. He loves to fight through those kind of situations, which compliments our stars very well. Today's matchup vs Cavs is gonna be fun! Shoes off! Banners up!!!
Conference finals preview day tomorrow (Sun)? Cs/Cavs and OKC/Hou, maybe. Kudos to Reggie Miller. During PP's rook season Miller said "that guy's just a born basketball player." He was right.
"NASTY P!!!" OH YEAH!! Thanks NIK Hockey guy.
Payton Pritchard 6MOTY 💯
Dope . Like always . ☘️☘️☘️☘️
Thank you!
I learn so much about the game itself from your breakdowns, and it's great. But I also appreciate how you take time to include details like Lonzo's reaction at 9:44, lol.
Thank you a lot and yea lol
Great breakdown. PP's development has been amazing.
Thank you!
Its pretty amazing how every player on team are good and willing screeners. Its one of those skills that’s not sexy but is vital to a good offense
The most impressive stat is the 7 boards. Come on cuz. The kid is 6'1. 😮😮😮
More importantly, 4 OF rebounds
I guess that SOFF to SON to S Switch prevents a pre switch to keep Vic off of JT(or was it just to ge Desommo out of the way). That's far out.
The speed and quality of these break down videos is always impressive and appreciated. Keep up the good work!

@@niknba what was your opinion on Aaron Nesmith when he played for the Celtics?
If Kristaps Porzingis stay healthy next season & consistent 2025 playoffs Boston big chance get #19 banner next season 💯 no doubts 💪🔥💪
Great video! We are all so happy to be witnessing this crazy basketball
Thank you!
Great stuff as usual. KP makes things awfully easy for his teammates but really really bad for the competition.
The key to the Celtics being truly unbeatable is unlocking the ability to definitively win non-Tatum minutes consistently. KP makes that a realistic possibility. Can’t wait to watch him get into rhythm over the next few weeks. This team has the potential to be one of the best to ever take the court
Porzingis is 7ft 3 tall
I NEEDED THIS breakdown. I legit wait for you to post after every game
Clipper vid coming? Ugly. Clips a pretty good team, better than last year, and the Cs destroyed them. Queta suddenly looks lost. What happened! He was playing so well. Now he looks as tho he doesn't care.
yessssir
#helpless! 🤣🤣🤣
Wow! I had not realized how elite KP's rim protection was last year statistically speaking. Of course, he looked great by the eye test but I hadn't realized he was in the high 90th percentiles in all the rim protection categories. Couple that with his post-up efficiency and we just got back our most irreplaceable player. Even with Al being a great defender, he's not 7'3" with long arms. Even Queta looked like he benefitted at least in terms of coming off the bench and facing the Clips second unit. Having another big who plays like a big must also be a good reminder to Queta on just how to use his length and size in game. Great game all around. P.S. I'm also gonna shout out D White's save of the ball from going out of bounds and his subsequent pass-pass-and pass back with Queta. That was straight Larry Bird. Hustle coupled with cerebral execution of such a simple play. It was fucking beautiful to see. This team has a chance to match or even exceed that dominate dynasty of the 80's and hot damn, I'm here for it! Go C's!!!
I’m a happy camper.
It's like KP boxes out for the J's and they just grab the ball after misses.
Thanks for the breakdown, Nik. I expected KP to look a little more hesitant to go body to body with Zubac but, no. KP looked ready to go. Not many teams will have an answer for this added firepower from the Celts.
No problem and good comment
His shooting was a little rusty but i was amazed by his defense. He was playing so physical and athletically Kp white pnr is such a broken unguardable play. Great to see that was still working
Great first game back for KP. That second quarter is what happens when the C's have all their weapons - watch out! Have a great T-day, Nik!
You too!
not bad for a KP warmup. will be scary when he and JB have the cookies and cream game going.
Let’s gooooo!
10 seconds!
Quickness
@niknba obsession. Watch out for stalkers.
Totally agree about the tillman analysis. Ive been telling c’s fans all year that they’ve been misusing X by forcing him to play the 4 and just sticking him in corners. A lot of fans have written him off as unplayable on offense
11:28 dwhite is the best shot blocking guard of all time, this is insane
Nah. A conversation needs to be had about what we witnessed against LA Clippers
loving the vids bro keep it up

TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF!!!
Great stuff. Be interested to see how you think Porzingus plays tonight.
Thank you and I think KP will be solid tonight. Feel him not having to rush back is a huge thing
consistently high quality Celtics content... keep going!
Thank you!
Sam had maybe his best game of the season. His activity on the boards is rightfully highlighted here. If we start hitting on all cylinders, with KP back and everyone else's games rounding in to form, we gotta another gear to go. Excited to see these next few weeks of basketball. It'd be great to have a little mini-peak here against the Clips and the Cavs and on into Cup play! Woot!!! Shoes off! Banners up baby!!!
The physical mismatches that the J's create over nearly ever other wing in the league is one of the defining features of their on-court dominance. In the beginning of their careers they hadn't developed the other parts of their games the way they have now. That's why they finally won the chip last year. Their physical dominance was matched by their skills and experience. That's the window they have. This moment in time, where they are still at their peaks physically and their basketball savvy is at an all time high. This window comes and goes for every all-time great team and player. Saw it with Bird. Saw it with Magic and Michael. We saw it with Kobe and Shaq. The window is almost always pretty narrow, encompassing 5 to 7 years. The only question is how many chips can you squeeze outta that window. With Bird, it was three. With Magic it was five. MJ got his six. LeBron and Timmy seemingly broke the mold in that they strung out their successes over a longer time frame. But the truism remains. Time is short for the J's. Let's hope they maximize these next few years and make us all happy. Remember, MVPs are fascistic (one man standing on top of a hierarchy), whereas championships are democratic (everyone shares in the success). Chips for the masses! P.S. Porzingis is back! Can't wait for a film session! Our paint defense feels like it has been all but non-existent these last couple of weeks. I'd love to see Kristaps come in and provide some deterrence in the paint tonight. I'm not expecting vintage Timelord or anything but if you watch Gobert, even when he's not blocking shots, he has a presence in the paint that every opponent is aware of. At times last year, especially in game 1 of the finals, KP had that same kind of looming presence. We need that right now as our center position, outside of Al, has looked pretty ragged of late, especially on D. Go C's!
No! No! No! Swish! Brown delivered big time in this one. Got to admire Horford. Just to be out there for his age racking up all those minutes. Gotta love him. Sure can't wait till KP gets back. Great video as usual.
Preciate you!
