Looks like you have a new furry friend. Willow was following you all over. That's a really fine property. I love the renovations. They modernized it, but still kept a lot of the older elements. The perfect blend of old and new.
Sure do. It is a delicate operation and I have seen successful and not so neatly done home restorations. The hardest ones are when four buyers in less than ten years and oh oh. Those places had "too many cooks in the kitchen" that mess up a place. This one had one slow careful but expensive done right careful restoration. Love the land behind this one and the big barn to develop for horse stalls, home business, truck garden or antique sales, etc.
If this house could talk... wow!!! This house reminds me of the old Victoria home, based in New England, that my grandparents built, by masons, in the late 1800s. It housed many children in the family. Oh, the memories!!! Gorgeous house, Andy!
Built to last and spacious, comfortable. Your home is a castle and family get togethers happened here. Gram and Gramp lived with you in the same household... just out back to be part of the lifestyle. Good age!
@@AndrewMooersmainerealestate So right Andy. Family is important. This home is Currier & Ives and Norman Rockwell. I can see some huge made in Maine Christmas wreaths on the doors and a REAL Christmas tree ! Every season is beautiful in Maine and all of New England. 🌲❄☃❤
Thank you and sure is. The square tower, the ginger breading and amazing detail inside, outside on over 10 acres with waterfront view. One of a kind Victorian era house for sale here @MC-342! 😀
Beautiful home. Whoever did the remodel respected the house. They didn't strip it of all of its architectural features, add that damn dark gray wood, then paint it all white!
Got that right and thank you for pointing that out! Did you see Willow? She's not included in the house sale.🌄 Come walk the over 10 acres... pretty up back with views.
Living here, can you imagine yourself calling this home? Walking the land up back, having animals, growing something, using the big shop garage. Just living here during holidays and family get togethers. Some is going to enjoy this one in all those ways!
When you travel up to Maine, staying in a local landmark home like this one would be way way more memorable than a 10'x12 room along the Interstate 95 right? It was neat climbing up into the tower turret! Willow helped show me how it is done. 🎃
Yet another great presentation, Andy. I love the layout of this house. It has character. Big heated/insulated garage/shop, big lot = big pluses. If only I could talk my wife into moving... 😔
I will help drop subtle hints about the move to Maine... to the Victorian with 3 full baths and the ooh la la quartz/tile kitchen! Did you see the walk in pantry closet?
Very nice. Right up my alley with the separated garage. But the house is just too big. Just curious; can you sell the acreage behind the house? That’s a lot of grass to cut. Was the floors vinyl or solid wood?
Yes you could. This could have in-law apartment. Work and live in same home. Use for a professional purpose... hobby farm, use back building for business or your trade storage of equipment. Wood floors, you can see the bridging and rugged construction ... the only way they built them when this one was constructed. Double boarded, no particle board. Nothing flimsy.
Wow wow wow❤❤❤❤❤ my heart is stolen by this masterpiece..not just a house, its amazing!!!!!!! I watched it 3xs already (without andy talking lol) its just done right, and that barn/garage is fantastic!!! I hope they put up a BIG CIRCA 1830 or whenever it was built on a plaque (if its not on it now), i didnt see it. @@AndrewMooersmainerealestate lol it has a painted mantle which should be a crime. Eastlake is fairly non existent. Nothing much about it says Victorian other than the exterior. Also .....
