Thank you both of you for the work you are doing. It is enlightening and healing, indeed. Public Shaming with its devastating consequences is becoming an epidemic and it needs people like you to shine the light on it.

Guys, this is not an interview. It's a conversation.

Brene I am trying to recover from narcissistic abuse so I am full of anger & rage but I kind of throw a monkey wrench in your theory b/c I was the scapegoat growing up. I rage but I do wont to hold people accountable. My mom was the enabler who swept-ed everything under the rug but I was/ am the 1 who would rip it up and throw the "shit" in there face. I am not trying to give you a hard time you say you wont constructive feedback. I find you inspiring. I am trying to turn my life around but am struggling with the idea of in-bracing venerability.

    "Ears to the earless."
What a poignant and relevant premise to notice and add.

I would love to see Brene Brown talking with Jodran Peterson. She is the femininity of our time and he is the masculinity.

great talk at about 10 minutes roughly the dialogue sounds kantian." act only according to that maxim by which you can at the same time will that it become a universal moral law"

I liked the talk. Thanks to Dr. Brown, I have been looking at my life through a different light, thank you for that. But, in all humor, could everyone just start calling awful people
a$$holes? Eveyones got one and they all stink! D**ks and p***ys are wonderful and should not be insults!
    😉❤

its funny how privileged people would find a way to discredit oppressed people for their strategies of resistance , this is when Brene shuts down and her body language becomes defensive, and she tells him who actually does more nasty things online

She's talking about Social Justice Warriors and Alt-Right people, isn't she?

The interview has only JUST started and yet the "interviewer" has already mentioned his own book repeatedly.
Seriously? Could you not? Was this not about Brene Brown? I'd actually never even heard of Jon Ronson before this video -- don't think this was the best intro ever.

      I noticed that as well.

I can see how this was confusing because the video launched without introduction. They were engaged in a dialogue about their respective work, not Jon interviewing Brené. Jon Ronson is a researcher as well and has written several powerful books. See his, "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" I hope you like it. Also, he did a TED talk. I hope you enjoy getting to know his work. Good luck!!
