As always moving from armor to armor is usually minor in stats but takes a lot of investment. From Octo's to Einea its a 1% potency difference (little bit more than that in reality because it multiplies with other sources of potency but shouldn't make a huge difference overall)
It is just like many people are saying, all this for what? To farm more efficiently on gorge? This update makes solus even more irrelevant and even aegis. I wish we had the leciel expansion now, it's more than fitting, or even the aegis UQ. Guess we gotta wait.
I've stuck with my Octo Armours for now. I remember paying 5 mil a piece for them when they were released lol. But also stuck Fixa Guard 5 on them all for cheap. So may just get more use from them.
haven’t been back to pso in a while n im not like a huge minmaxer (always aiming for “second best” armors/weapon) but i’ll probably get the einea variant. what weapon series do you think is still good enough besides reyaar?

Just didn't think it would be just a week after the other Eineas and for them to be objectively better than the rest of the variants in their specialization. Octo Armor: Vio for instance still had more PP than the Octo Armor: Arga, Belta, and Sheza
Well I got a great deal on a maxxed out Vio armor with a fixa. I guess the owner dumped it for the new variants. The gourge needs more enemies as the enemy loop is already becoming stale. Maybe one more ancient type and some more enemies to fight after would do it.

Don't understand how the 15HP and 5 PP difference from base units is equivalent to a 5.5%stat you won't necessarily be utilizing. From a "game design" sense. Especially since LC capsules makes building a unit more easily accessible for a side class.
I stopped caring about jumping on the newest armors. If you just wait about a week or two people put their old but maxed out armors on the market for reasonable prices or even the new armor with decent augs.
I get it, but better sooner rather than later in these cases. Most people saw these variants coming a mile away. Others are still holding on and waiting for the newer Purple armors that'll exceed Einea. Getting it over with sooner beats having an inevitably short-lived best.

its always been a pattern in NGS , they would introduces new armors by batch, so i kinda refrained from getting the "incomplete" new set of armors
I dunno if I even want to make gear anymore at this point. Like I still have the octo belta thingie. The new belta I might use if I bother grinding. 😂

If high fixas are cheap, I might still use mine that I got for like less than 200k.

Its hard to farm the newer armor in LTQ unless i use RDR boost.
