One thing that I forgot to mention, is that if you are dead when a boss dies in this quest (or any purple trigger) you don't get credit for the kill giving you less rewards. So be careful when the enemies' health bars are low, so you can get all the drops
As a bouncer, not killing the gems makes me sad v_v More seriously, and as a small addendum, It looks like Zelvin's gems are the source of its lightning aura, and shattering both purple gems on Val Zagga will instantly down it in a similar way to Dryverus losing its gem. (It seems like most purple starless gems enable some special attack or other, but I'm not sure what all of them are.) I also feel like Eliminda's gems might have some ties to the frequency of its mouth laser attack as well as it's satellites, but memory might be tricking me there.
It does seem like all the purple weakpoints are tied to moves the bosses can do, just don't know if its worth going out of the way for most of the time since the game encourages countering and taking away attacks means less counters
Can you make a video in the future about why floor potency is so important ? I'm kinda confused of what augments to use at this point if you can of course..

Mega Triyal is just Slayer new bis augment without the negative stats, you know sega gotta make sure slayers eating too. Just like Grand Dread Keeper is bis augment for all non slayer classes
Best in slot means you want to have it on anywhere you possibly can, Lux and Glan are bis because they are outright the best option with no contest. GDK is a slightly better option but nowhere near that case as there are many builds that features 0 GDK even for non-slayer. The raw potency it offers is the lowest among the endgame affixes lineup or even the game in general (2.5% is severely outdated when newer affixes has been using 3 or 3.5 as a baseline), you might argue about 5% floor potency but keep in mind floor has diminishing returns as it has a cap of 100%, it also scales worse on 7 stars weapons and above because they start at 50% floor instead of 75% so that's double Ls for floor pot. imho floor potency or at least GDK should get buffed because Slayers already have too much leeway in abusing all these triyal variants. They can also skip fatale and go for termina, which not only make up for the floor potency loss but also result in more damage in the long run. Other classes have to choose between floor and raw potency and also have to prioritize Fatale over Termina in most cases. If you think about it building floor potency and having Fatale is effectively trolling too, you lose value in both because you're building minimum and maximum floor simultaneously lol
@bacherfkinmcskiddlywop2491because slayer is the only class with huge crit stats and whenever you crit you do max damage adjustment which makes potency floor pretty much useless for slayer since potency floor is only used to maximize damage adjustment.🤔🤨🧐
@bacherfkinmcskiddlywop2491 because all classes that's not slayer main needs potency & floor potency due to the lack of high crit rate compare to slayer that have high amounts of crit rate innately, they don't need floor potency since they will crit more often then every other class, that is why they can ditch floor potency & go full potency
@bacherfkinmcskiddlywop2491 U knew better by doing the math, GDK vs the other pure potency alrd being calculated by the community since long. The rough convertion is around 1 potency = 2 floor potency on average for all class except slayer, the more ur base crit rate and crit potency the less this value would be. GDK gave 2.5 potency + 5 % floor potency, so GDK acutall dmg contribution is around 4% potency in dmg calculation, which is close to halpinale in term of dmg. Why 4% and not 5%? because multiplicative and u more likely to have more base crit rate from fighter bonus stats or some weapon having 75%-100% base floor instead of 50-100%.
@CriticasterQ idk how to make the starless battldia consume purple triggers. is there a specific way to access the quest to force it to take purple triggers?🤔🤨🧐
you just have to be the party leader or queueing yourself to put in your triggers for the trigger buff, they don't get consumed until after you finish a run 👍
I dont have the power and skill to defeat the 1st starless in this purple quest. So i will ignore this content and wait to see what Sega will do next year - equip catchup and new aug. type in Leciel '25 .
