The cable is the finishing touch that says the technology isn’t quite there yet. Reminds me of early 1980s mobile phones, with a backpack holding the battery. It’s very clever, Apple have done a great job and there’s no real competing product yet… but I can see this in a modern day version of the I’m a Mac, I’m a PC advert, and John Hodgman would be wearing this. 😂 I really hope we don’t end up seeing hundreds of people wearing these in public. Actually this is such a good use case for me. I don’t touch my iPhone or iPad while eating because I can’t stand getting grease or oily fingerprints all over my screen so I just use them after washing. I guess this would negate that since you’re just touching air. But then again, it’s much cheaper to just wash my hands. Ha.
I think we should never use our phone while eating. Its a good habit to have.
