Thanks Wade as I enjoy a view from down under. As I have not been on my whisk(e)y journey for very long, I am limited on the drams I have tasted. I also have some honorable mentions, 2 to be exact. They are ASW Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon Store Pick and Widow Jane Decadence Bourbon. These two are so, so good. However, my choice for THE one is Glenglassaugh Evolution Single Malt. It is full, rich and sweet with waft of smoke. Enough of a complex nose and palette to be enjoyable now and forever.

Hi Wade If I only had to pick one whiskey to drink on a dessert island for the rest of my life, it's going to be bunnahabhain 12year old cask strength 2022,I bought 3 bottles when it came out,my second choice would be a redbreast 15year old, just thought I would give you my thoughts, great review as always, keep up the great reviews, and cheers sir !!!

I'm going with Ardbeg Uigeadail. That way I get high proof, sherry, and peat. Granted, I haven't tried all the higher-priced and aged whiskys.

I haven't ever had this particular Laphroaig yet, however I was also going to say Laphroaig. Definitely clever going for a cask strength. Subbed.
