Convert Image into DXF with Inkscape

Thanks Good Video. An application I often get is when people send me a pdf drawing which is to scale. Is there a way I can use this method such that it retains the scale of the drawing in CAD?

Great video! Just tested Inkscape out on a random Steelers logo, to where I was able to create a .dxf file. But when I got to work and tried auto tooling it in Metacam, it was showing incomplete geometry. Could you create a video going more in depth after importing a file into Metacam? Cleaning the file, tooling, etc. I could get a seat in Inventor if need be. Thank you in advance!!!

When I do this my vector or dxf goes into fusion 360 but the lines are not perfect or get extra lines what can I do?

1 question.
I'm working with a fiber laser cutter that uses ByVision program, the cutting files that we are working with are NCP.
Can I download an image and follow this video to make it DXF and then somehow change it in Autocad or solid work to be able to cut it in the laser cutter ?

I can't see the dxf format when i try to save the file.. what version of inkscape are you using ?
