Totally an unbiased opinion, probably one of the coolest music reactions I've seen. At 11:40 the instrument wasn't a recorder, it was actually an ocarina. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I own one, but never taught myself to play it. I agree that the music from the Legend of Zelda series is really good.
@@SJOrr Theres a fun fact about this ocarina ! Actually the main character of the series is an ocarina player and this instrument became iconic in the video game community due to the succes of the game "The legend of Zelda : Ocarina of time "
@@juliencamus3523 it’s not the main character of the series but the main character of that specific game (ocarina of time) each main character is a reincarnation of the last and each has its own kind of “musical gimmick “
Zelda is my favorite franchise EVER so it makes me so happy to see you reacting to its outstanding music. I can't help it but cry...I just cant it makes up so much of like everyday life and I don't know what would be my "Good Escape" from the world that I need to enjoy myself. The main theme just makes my heart so happy! I love Nintendo so much...😭💖

That was awesome! The same orchestra also did a 'Bloodborne' Suite - if you haven't heard of it the whole OST is extremely powerful emotionally and musically. I would recommend 'Ludwig the Holy Blade' But also this Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra also did a Bloodborne suite as part of this evening of music. Go check it out I and sure many of viewers would love to see your reaction!
" what is that instrument " it's an ocarina ( one of the games is called legend of zelda ocarina of time ) it's a flute in almost like a tear drop shape but not quite.
so whats the sound of a child dream of a fabled and marvellous adventure? well sir, thats what the head of a kid sounds like while he is playng alone in his room.
I grew up with A link to the past, then went back to play the original later in life, Zelda is trans generational, I think even my grandparents know Zelda and they're baby boomers lol
Great react. You should try The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - The Danish National Symphony Orchestra (Live) They have alot of this kinde of music. And I hope you do some more of Courtney Hadwin too. ;)
What do you mean "even if you are not a gen x'r" lol I would expect gen x'rs to know less about zelda than millennials and gen z considering zelda was very popular in the 90's and is by far at its most popular today. Just to put it in perspective the original zelda only sold 7 million units while the newest one is at 28 million and counting.
True I’d say Zelda has only gotten more popular while younger people may not have played all of the older games many have enjoyed the modern games aswell like Breath of the Wild
7 million back than probably is more than 28 million today in a way. There were only physical copies to buy and the gaming industry and it´s reach is far greater now.

7- 17:45 OG Zelda dungeon theme

This brought tears to my eyes when i saw it
The composer for all these songs is koji kondo he’s a legend in the gaming world
Like he literally created every song for the entire series going back to 1986 …….
11:30 is a ocarina.. hard to play
19:57 hits so hard
I remember doing so many orchestra's like these, I kinda miss being able to do something like this with a group of people
10:45 Andreas Hedlund made the orchestral arrangements. : )

More Courtney is coming... :)
The suite is good but I really prefet the symphonic movements, particularly Twilight Princess.
Definitely you should watch some of the Monster Hunter orchestra concerts 👌
