I found out on June 1st I got accepted! The wait was as painful as you described lol. It really is menacing to devote all that time into pre-reqs with the chance you might not even get accepted.
@@courtneyn4157 it has been challenging for sure but I love it! Just wrapped up my abdomen semester and I start OB/GYN next week 😊 how’s it going for you? sidebar, my name is Courtney too ☺️
wow your experience is so inspiring!! you & your bf definitely manifested this. i'm so happy for you! i'm hoping to get accepted to a dms program, but i know it probably won't go as smooth as it did for you :,) looking forward to more sonography vids haha!!
Congratulations!! !! thank your for sharing . I’m in the process of finishing up prerequisites classes . Can share what your GPA was when you applied for the program ? 😊
hello, i’m so excited i ran across your channel! i’m also going to school for sonography but i’m also researching schools. Did you already take prerequisite classes before applying to the sono programs? i also live in tampa and the school i checked out has the program for 46,000. what campus did you apply to for cheaper prices? i’m a mom of two with a lot of financial responsibilities so i really don’t want to be in the whole 46,000 but i do want to farther my education for myself and my family.
Hii! Look into hillsborough community college. It is muchhh cheaper than that but probably the most competitive program in your area. I ended up getting accepted to their general program but I know someone who had a 3.8 GPA that was number one on their alternative list, so you must have really competitive grades. On the other hand they have an echo program as well that is a little less competitive to get into. From what I remember, there’s also a program in Lakeland that should be affordable. And yes I completed all my classes before applying.
Hey Ciera. I know this was a question directed to Angelique but I want to tell you I am applying to a school in North Florida by the name of Santa Fe College as well as a school in Winter Haven, FL by the name of Polk State College when applications open up. I emailed the program director of the one at the Lakeland campus of Polk State College and she basically said the highest GPA admitted applicant had a 3.6 as of last year! That’s a high GPA but isn’t nearly as competitive as other programs. Just thought I’d let you know.
Just a side note: 1. Remember to look into programs that are accredited by the CAAHEP. 2. Also, apply to as many programs as you can at different schools. This will give you a greater guarantee to getting accepted to at least one. I wish you the best of luck on your journey! We are all in it together ❤️💕
@angeliquesabrina congratulations on getting in! ❤️💕🏅 I have a question regarding prerequisites and how they will transfer if you know. So basically if you want to transfer from a cc to another cc will the credits be easily transferred if your grades are high? I’m also trying to get into a sonography program but in north fl. Thanks 😊
Yes most of my credits transferred no issue. I only had an issue with one school not wanting to transfer my interpersonal communication to public speaking, but all other schools did it no issue. As far as I know, whether it transfers or not has nothing to do with your grade in the class, but more to do on the syllabus breakdown and if it matches what the new institution teaches at their version of the class. Hope that helps and good luck girly
EEEEEK I am so so so happy for you! You deserve it!!!! Always work hard and remember this feeling when you have hard times. You know it’s not easy but I know you will get through it! 🤍
Thank you!! If it weren’t for your advice, help, and videos it would have been a much harder journey to get here. I’m gonna hold on to this feeling as long as I can, I know it’ll get tough😭❤️

congratulations to both u & your boyfriend! y’all will be each other’s biggest support. y’all didn’t have to do interviews for the program?
Can I take my prerequisites at any colleges that offers them and take them to the program? Or do some programs have the prerequisites in them?
