Mike, kudos to Donner for choosing you to represent their product. Your professional and very thorough evaluation will make any person interested in purchasing one of the e-kits you reviewed very easy and without any doubts. This was fun.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Great stuff Mike.... Im really giving thought to an E kit.... the hold up is the crazy expense and I already bought an acoustic kit last year.... Great review, keep it 100..
Thanks Mike, interesting option for all types of up and coming drummers. I think E drums have a ton of growth in the future. Though I do not see myself purchasing an E set, hey I was very impressed with the EF Note7 at GC here in Nashville. Thanks! Nashvegas Baby!
E kits definitely have a place! My son prefers acoustic but it’s not practical. His practice kit is the MPS 1000 which is the closest I could get for size and looks of an acoustic but quiet for every day practice. We switch his kit to his acoustic coming up to exams but it’s really loud 😂That Donner kit is similar to his first kit which he outgrew very quickly but for apartments or people who are short on space, that kit would be ideal. Sounds good too 👍
My edrums are a $400 clothing rack....especially after spending aLOT of time, research and effort dialing in a pretty sweet custom kit without knowing how to save it, and with one tiny accidental kit change, it was gone forever 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Thnx Mike for another decent Review! I really appreciate the Way you have a look on all the Items send to you.. I actually got one Question on the Donner Beat Drumset.. Are there extra Inputs on the Module for another Crash and a fourth Tom ? And if there are, with which Drums are they Compatible? Just asking because of the internal Cable System Donner is using... Thnx for Reading and regards from 🇦🇹 Keep 🥁🥁
I thought I mentioned that in the video, but if I didn't... Apologies. There are inputs to add one more cymbal and one more pad. So you can expand it. It's labeled at Tom 4 and Crash 2, but I imagine you could program it to any sound you like.

If you can only play on an electric set, it’s a great option, but if you already have an acoustic kit and a place to play it, no rush.
Excellent review, Mike. Thanks
I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I agree, they are really coming into their own.

I think those Millenium kits are pretty tough to get in the US, but they look very cool (and quite affordable considering all that comes with it).

There's a learning curve for sure.

How is the touch response and dynamics ?
Best of any e kits I’ve tried in this category (budget Amazon brands)
My favourite was 09 Funk kit.
A lot of these kits were enjoyable for me.
