Hey guys I hope you liked the review! I have a main channel called “Ghost Note” where you can find my drummer reaction videos and join me on live stream where I perform drum covers and just talk drums and stuff! Come hang out! (Click the profile to check out the channel)
I just received this for my 59th birthday. My son bought it for me. I intend to add some accessories to it. I'm very happy with this gift. I was shocked at how good it sounds. I plan on having lots of fun with this electric drum kit.
You use the word "this" too often. You can substitute "it" or "one" sometimes. You could also name the product instead of using the word "this" when referring to it.
@iggymcgeek730 I concur. My family and I were enjoying a company picnic when my assistant supervisor mentioned how many times this @leolambert (if that is even his real name) used the word "this". Our mouths dropped. My youngest started laughing so hard other coworkers were gathering around. Our boss canceled the event before the potato salad competition ended. "Too much laughing" he said. That's when Frank in the mail room told our boss that he should come over to our table and tell us THIS isn't hilarious. It was a great day.
Thank you! You can check out my drummer reaction channel called “the ghost note”! I got more review videos on there. I started this channel to separate my reviews and reaction content
It is super portable!! I played in a group that had several gigs overseas, and I mean OVERSEAS... places like Egypt, Amsterdam, Turkey, etc. For what the gigs were, this would have been perfect. You never knew how your kit was going to look coming off some of those non-American jets😂... I had fiberboard cases strapped and duct taped, and they still came off the jet popped open with my drums, not in the cases!! I looking for things that would be easy to steal, but the drums were still there and in pretty decent condition. I was lucky 😊! This would have been a carry-on.
Kick pad yes definitely. It even has a free cable for any kick add on you would like to add. You can also add the hihat port to any hihat pedal or sets of electric hihats you would want to add on there but I don’t know how the trigger and switch system works with them. I don’t think there are any settings to change with it so for the pedal it’s strictly on and off. No inbetween.
I own an Alesis ControlPad, but am considering selling it and replacing it with this. The elevated hi-hat pad and mesh snare head look like it would make for a more natural drumming experience than just using pads. Do you think it's worth the upgrade?
As a drummer in my early 50s who has been gigging with big kits for 35+ years, I’m on the edge of making the switch to a MUCH smaller kit. Could this be it? Doubt THIS is the one. But it sure is tempting lol
This is probably a stupid question, but do you need an amp for this? I set it up, connected the cords, turned on the module, but there is no electronic sound coming out at all. My kid is a beginner--do we need to hook it up to an external source to make sound?
I have a really small apartment, a fairly low budget, and want a set primarily for production (primarily via midi). This could be the ticket for me I think
I just got one this morning. Expected this friday, with amazon prime. Saw it in action with a live band in Cancun, MX. this labor day weekwnd. Sound quality was more than enough. Thank you for your video. It will help me, for sure, with the setup part...👍
Great review. I have been programming drums using my keyboard, so this is exactly the type of addition I need in my studio. Plus, I've always wanted to learn the drums. Subscribed!
Works good. Sounds good. Records well. Good samples. Where do I sign up? It's perfect for a Motorhome. I like it. You can do anything, anywhere. As good as anybody else's electronic drums that cost far more. This is a great demo. You did a very nice job. There's nice audible articulation. And 10 premade, drum sets. How much more do you need? This looks like a lot of fun. I think I'll get myself one. This is actually no toy. This is a 21st Century, Practice Pad. That doesn't get boring. And you can use it for live gigs. At small clubs and bars. Great at the beach. With a battery-powered amplifier. What do you mean this does not compare to a real, drum set? Of course it is. It's just another musical instrument. From the 21st Century. I would be proud to use it. To show everyone. How smart I am. I don't have to haul a big huge stupid drum set anymore. Now I can put it in a, Briefcase. This is classy. For a Modern Musician. So I don't know why somebody would consider this a toy? Are, harmonica's, toys? Bongos? Piccolo's? Ukuleles? Tambourines? They are all toys? What about Hawaiian guitar? You don't see those in rock bands. HUH? Do you? Well, do you? This is what you always always have conveniently, with you. And you might get hired more often? Johnny on the spot. RemyRAD
I live in a small trailer home. and I decided I wanted to take up drumming. I bought the Aeroband Pocket Drum 2 set. it was crap as it loses calibration every 15 to 20 seconds. BUT, I did like the game software that came with it. sort of like Rocksmith but for drums. This kit by LEKATO looks interesting, but again I would want some learning "game" style software to go with it. anybody have suggestions?
Wicked fun. This is campfire fun jams kind of stuff. It can run from a portable battery, too (along with a battery amp). I am impressed, but specifically with this video. I have seen this before, but this one got me thinking, how cool.
6:50 Regarding the MIDI feature can I play an emulator or drum simulation game using these tools or gadgets? And I have a request for you can you try that drum to play Mame Emulator or DTX Mania because I planning to buy this product for my gaming purposes. Thanks.
I'm a guitarist and when I pick up someone else's guitar, I'm all fingers and thumbs dude. I bet your awesome at drums. Don't listen to these Machiavellian people. Bet they think they are the best keyboard drummers in the world.
Looks like a cool table top set. I have a Pyle tabletop unit that has started double triggering on the bass drum as well. Drives me crazy as it's only 6 months old, and I can't fix it. These sounds are much better than the Pyle too.
There's absolutely nothing that's weird about it & doesn't look like a toy it just looks like your normal average Electronic Drum Set via its portable. Actually some of the sounds kinda reminds me back in the day of the early R-8 Roland Drum Machines in 1989 then later in the 90's came a new version the TR-808 & TR 909. I have this kit, and the snare is duel zone, but it doesn't sound like the Lekato module utilizes the two zones. I hooked up a TD6 to it and the 2 zones work well. I do wish there was at least 1 extra cymbal on it, but 2 extra cymbals would be perfect !!! You definitely NEED to get another kick, but at least when you do you can kind of have double bass with the crummy kick they give ya....lol Other then that, the hi hat trigger is fine, and everything works good once you go and fix a few things in the menu. I hope they come out with a bigger brother and add some cymbals and utilize the duel zone on the snare. It was a pleasure hooking the Roland TD6 module to it and adding some cymbals. I really got a great experience.... With that said, I'm actually on vacation, and only brought the set that all fits in the pizza bag and grabbed an old kick pedal and the Roland TR 7 pedal trigger THINGER (I'm at the beach writing this so I forget the model number...)because the Roland trigger works good and it's small enough to not burden the car space with too much extra stuff. My buddies kids love the set, and everyone is impressed with it, so I probably made a few sales....lol So I hope they improve in the future !!! It's definitely VERY cool !!!!! Have a great day !!! :-)
Hey man, interesting find- thanks for reviewing this here. You also have a nice informative way of making your video I think would be accessible to a lot of people- hopefully more and more people will keep checking out your stuff, hell I’m subscribing to ya now! Maybe give me a shout back if you have time. I don’t know if it’s just in this video, just a notice if not. The video was falling out of sync with your talking audio at times, or the framerate changed a lot like when you were first showing the drums being played? Just sayin. Either way, I used to DoorDash a lot too and, love your idea of having that in a car haha! If I had extra $ for however much this is and just a better electronic bass pedal , I’d grab them. Anyway hope you’re well, peace!
Anything would be better than the Alesis Shit Mesh kit I’ve got, which stopped transmitting MIDI info on the hats and the crash, and I have to make extra trax just for hats and crash, which is mind-numbing; it’s the year 2024. Oh, and the snare arm falls off, no matter how snugly and securely I bolt it to the rest of the laughably flimsy frame.
Just like the table top Yamaha set from15 yrs ago. Pedals are useless. They don't stay where you put them. How can you play it?????? Answer, you can't. Waste of money. Notice his foot. Nobody plays a kick pedals like that. It's not a gas pedal. It's a toy
I wonder if you can flip the metal plate over and put everything on the “bottom.” If that’s possible, you should be able make it work for a left hand players. I might get it and try it out. I’ll post my findings.

Stupid auto correct... it was supposed to say, "They were probably looking for things easy to steal..."
What is a good alternative for the pedals? Seems like they are the one part you’d replace.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the video. Very Informative.
Is it possible to do a smooth buzz-roll on the snare?
Can you let us know if you can hook up a hi hat controller or kick pad from another brand to this kit?
Kick pad yes definitely. It even has a free cable for any kick add on you would like to add. Frick it dude idc how broke i am, i'm gonna buy this stuff man it's too good to miss out on. After all it's gonna be my first ever drum

I think you do, but i think a simple home speaker would work
Yeah there are no built in speakers so you can use headphones or any computer speakers like I did if you want to keep it simple
Do i have to buy other wires so i could connect the pedals and cymbals and drums to the module or does it come eith it?
Comes with it
Can I use the high hat control as a 2nd bass pedal for some sick nasty double bass?
Where do I just purchase the SNARE ??
I have a really small apartment, a fairly low budget, and want a set primarily for production (primarily via midi). This could be the ticket for me I think
Good afternoon! I would like to know if I can exchange one of the pads for the snare drum rim sound.

Gotta say, as someone who was pro for many years, abd did 99% of my practice on a pad, this would have been a godsend.

Honest review. Like other reviewer bass kick drum pedal is there concern also.
If I have headphones on, how quiet is the kit for those that may be in the house with me? Are the pads relatively quiet? lol

Nice review bro 💪 keep it up man! Don’t let the useless hate get to you! 💯
Looks, sounds, and performs like something you would find on TEMU. Great review though! I have the same exact practice pad as you!
is it possible to use those cymbal pads on other electric kits
I might pick one of these up to you convinced me bro 🙌

É obrigatório conectar o kit em um notebook??
nao
buy separate kick pedals, for the high hat, and base pedal with a tower, then connect the cables coming from the module into the pedals

Not seen this model electric kit before , I have a Roland electric kit myself , but this is definitely interesting for sure
I am considering buying too see how I like it, also I am a bass player but I do drum occasionally
Turn the snare stand backwards so the gap is at the front and it fits.
This doesn’t sound as terrible as I thought it would
is there a rimshot on that?
Dont have you need to assign

Hello, how did you activate both zones on the snare?
I'm sure I am dumb, but I missed the part about how much it costs
It’s on Amazon now for $178. Marked down from $209
@@johnnyboy55 that's pretty overpriced, IMO.
Did u have to have the review tech USA look

Oh that double hit on the kick is a feature. My midi drums does it too. It depends on the speed that you lift your foot (I think)

This drum is actually good if you cant afford a acoustic drums

Biggest drawback I have is it's made in China.
Your terrible playing does not do any justice to this kit.
For real. First time watching this channel. And the last. Get good at drums before making a drum channel 😂 sorry to be rude.
at least bro can do better than you if you even play.

🤣 sorry no way. I've been playing 15 years. My wife is better than this guy.
Super junk drum electronic junk
