  • Although it was a great adventure we had our troubles along the way, 12 Hour Drive to get to our hub, from their first day was excellent we trade out the new suspension extenders I made for the front bars, they were just excellent just had to retail the rebound and compression to fine-tune it, this first day we went to two places the second one a church on top of a hill from where you can see mountains from Durango and Sinaloa. Next day we headed out to Tayoltita with the intent to cross the Sierra Madre Occidental and end up in Mazatlan and grab a tasty dinner and head back to our hub. Although you plan things not everything goes as you think. Because of a moment of distraction I released my left hand from the handlebar to relocate my headphone under my helmet and in less than two seconds I was already hitting the ground, fortunately I had a good pair of knee protections on me and that helped me from an exposed fracture. It took me close to eight hours to go back from where I have driven only three hours. My knee was loose in two occasions, be careful when you ride solo. Locals were so friendly to me and they were so concerned of me returning back, they don't leave me the idea that there is still very good people in this world no matter where, since supposedly this is a dangerous place crawling with drug dealers. I found nothing but good deeds and goodwill in people.

Gracias ARTURO, lo grave sería no seguir aprendiendo de los errores, y ya hice varios análisis de cosas que hice mal

Y no es prueba y error. Es prueba y aprendizaje, eso es lo correcto.

I hope you're ok after your accident.
I'm afraid I don't speak Spanish, so I was wondering how the test of the fork extensions went. Would you recommend them?

I would like to know too since I'm using them.

Sorry for the delay, I hadn't seen the message, in regards to the fork extension. It went great much better than I expected the day before the accident I did climb very steep hills. It used to hit the belly of the motorcycle very frequently, but now I don't recall hitting it anymore. Not such a good English speaker.

@@robinhoodwow Hi, thanks for your reply. I bought the extenders in the mean time, but discovered a problem with them. They extend the fork legs by 40 mm instead of the indicated 1 inch. This makes the seat to high for my short legs and it also creates a problem in the bottom Triple clamp which I explain in my video (also read the discription of the video).
I contacted NiceCNC and Zmoke Vlog who sell these extenders, and informed them of the issues, and NiceCNC adjusted the discription of the extenders on their website, but they're still 8mm off.

@@zombiewoof5257 you are absolutely right, I did solve that problem with shims that are the same height as the triple claps, I don't recall the thickness at this moment, but they were approximately 1.3 mm as a bushing

@@robinhoodwow Hi, yes filling the gap with shims could help, so one can tighten the triple clamp bolts to the specification.
Is it ok if I post a short description of the problem with a link to my video in the comments? This way potential buyers of the extenders know what to expect when they buy them.

I am so tired of people putting the titles in English and then speaking a different language just to get hits on their video. It should be a violation. I am sorry to complain but seriously.
