I am also hoping to get a Nintendo Switch or a Nintendo Switch Lite for Christmas, but I wasn’t sure which one to ask for 😅 at first, it was easy because there was only two to choose from (the grey switch and the neon switch) but now Nintendo have introduced a whole new collection of switches aka the “Nintendo Switch Lite” I just don’t know which one to get 😂 I just generally like the fact that the Switch Lite is dedicated to hand-held play and is more easy to take with you, yet I like the original Nintendo Switch for it’s ability to connect to the tv, dock, and actually switch (because the Switch Lite doesn’t have joy cons) but oh well, I’m sure I’ll make my mind up eventually 😂
If you go to gamestop and ask for the switch V2 then most of the time they will give it to you. The reason they give you a normal switch if you dont say V2 is because they are told by nintendo that they need to sell the old ones first. So if you do go to get one be sure to ask for the V2

The switch lite is the poor version of the switch so i would say get the regular
