After 3000km on my s works roubaix SL8 i love it! This bike has a SOUL! Road bike weight/efficiency/ handling/nimbleness/stiffness/acceleration/climbing and gravel bike capability/stability/clearence == all road - aero light gravel
the kask helmets are seriuosly amazing.. i have a kask valegro which is 211gram at size m.. a sweet protection falconer that you see on many influencers is 280gram at size m, does not sound like much of a difference but if you try both it is actually a big deal. and the spezialized helmets are even heavier
It would also be nice to see some "average" bike builds tha are not in the multiple thousands range. Like a ideal commuter or entry levle citizen race bike or first bike with quality specs or touring bike build etc etc thanks for the videos
I’d be open to that. But the reality is it would be extremely low return on investment. The new enthusiast level stuff is what’s gonna get clicked on. We’re also kinda sick of selling them. The last two years has been a complete nightmare doing an extreme amount of warranties on them. It’s a low dollar item that we end up not even making money on because by the time we repair it enough to sell our margin get ate up in the labor.
I disagree. At the end of the day the race bikes are faster. If a customer wanted a faster bike then that would be a better option. It’s personal preference.
@@bicyclestation tru and I dont own a bike shop, and the heart wants what the heart wants but an endurance bike is better in most instances, For a racer a race bike is only better if you’re good enough to use it. In sprints in might feel faster but in a full length ride times would probably be marginal.
It’s not even the most expensive bikes you can buy. No reason to complain about what others spend their money on. It’s not like anyone’s forcing you to lol.
That hat is off the chain.
love my roubaix sl8. I use it for gravel mainly. di2 12 speed 2x. reserve 40/44 GR and 35-40mm gravel tires
I also love my R-SL8.
Can we get a breakdown on what wheelset internal width and tires you've run?
Big fan of the Pro One's. Had them as well as the Pro One TTs. Super fun road tire.
The 3T bare carbon weave is FIRE.
Great vid guys, love your selections
People who ride bikes are the best. Also, credit to Chase for eschewing loud hubs! 👏
Finally, some Roubaix love
whats the model of the wheels on the 3t extrema?

Can you share the specifics of the holographic AXS battery?
It’s a sticker we had made with our logo on it

Specialized loves you so much for being shills!
The whole point of this channel is it’s an advertisement for the products we sell at our shop. Feel like we’ve been pretty transparent about that.
Now do Trey and Grace’s favorites.
I like bikes
Sh-wall-bee.
unless youre a pro there is a 98% chance you whould benefit from just getting and endurance bike.

S Works is the ultimate in cyclist snobbery. Gucci go-go and slightly overrated and insanely overpriced.

I really hope Specialized will release a Roubaix without the Future Shock and with UDH in the near future.
Get a bike and ride it first before you say that. You have no idea what are you talking about
@ But I already have five 🤔 .
