I agree with Mike on about so far over 95% of things on everything. My only exeption his philosophy on ab training. I used to traing it once a week for years. BUT… Only body weight. Also, mostly crunches. I would avoid any excercise that would create thickness and any type of blockiness. My waist was tiny and so was my core with very nice deep and developed strong abs. However, way before this I used to do other exercises that did develop my core to become thicker. I stopped doing those and that’s when I switched to certain crunches. I shrunk my waist and core but developed way better abs. By the way all of this was under 10% body fat year long. At none of those points was my body fat ever above 10%. Just no sure I agree, with mike with ab training frequency here.
Mike O' Hearn never ceases to amaze me, I first saw him in the mid 90's in the Muscle & Fitness Magazines when I was a teenager and had just developed an interest in bodybuilding etc....I mean this guy had it all, the looks, the body, the strength and everything, he was like the ultimate man and I wondered how it was possible, and now 25 years later he still amazes me, as a kid I had decided that's exactly what I wanted to inspire to be....he is truly a rare breed and none like him out there...truly blessed by God
Man always enjoy watching your videos. Gets me where I want to be before training. Thanks Mike.. for all that you put into your content. I too started training when I was 9 yrs. old. Have loved it ever since. Always have been consistent.. 38 years. I’m not sure if it’s the age that we started.. or? But like you.. I have the same overall mindset.. and a warriors heart 💪🏻❤️ Someday, hope to meet you. Even when you talk about martial arts etc. same here lol. Just funny to me 🤷🏼♂️ very cool. It’s amazing what all that training can do for one.. not only in the gym and physically.. but as you know.. mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Becoming the master of oneself. Which affects all areas of our lives. One of the very greatest choices that I’ve ever made for myself. Anyways, just wanted to say.. thanks for being you Mike 💪🏻 Appreciate you.
Clearly everyone else in the comments are better trainers and know more than Mike. They must clearly have a longer track history of experience, trophies, and education more than Mike. I'm sure all of them look like Greek gods, more than Mike does. Because that's why they want to leave judgmental comments, right?
Totally agree with you. People who Look like they sit on the couch and eat chips all day want to critique Mike. Also they probably never see the inside of a gym so therefore mike does roids. Stupid fucks.
Did the arm work out today and got a great pump and felt strong even at the end of the workout. Didnt take 2-3 mins. rest just waited until i got breathing under control. Could have pushed it a bit more at the end but, drank to much water and felt like i was boarder line on throwing up.
Pin press I a better alternative to a close grip press. On the bottom of the close grip press , you are involving mostly chest and shoulder muscles. Triceps work on the top half of movement, only.
Вот каждый раз когда смотрю на тренировки Майкла Охерна хочеться попасть туда ,встать и тренироваться вместе с ними поосто высший класс и энергетика хорошая
Clark still looking great at 56, he is a legend, and a great guy. For those of you who don’t know, Clark was one of the top fitness models in the 1990’a and 2000’s, and had (still has) an insane physique. So many people use their age as an excuse for looking like shit. It is a weak excuse, and victim mentality. Clark and Mike are two of the best examples of how to keep looking great as you age, if you just stay consistent and disciplined.
Hi Brandon big fan of yours from india I've implemented the 1 rep max set and I m improving a lot... Thank you so much... I want see your full day eating video please make one looking forward for the video
@ 8:29 definitely give this guy in the green shirt props, at 56 he is a beast. What’s up with that form though?? Surprised Mike didn’t just have him drop the weight and do it right?? Edit: I should have just waited 10 more seconds where he says there just cheat reps.
I took test E. 500 mg per week for 3 years. And I worked out 5 days a week. And I did not gain that much muscle at all. So that means a person taking testosterone or steroids does not automatically make you a bigger or aesthetic person. You need to make sure you're eating correctly you're working out correctly and you're actually doing what you need to do the correct way to actually see amazing huge ginormous gaines. That's why you see people who actually got their food they're working out and their recovery on point. Finally take tests and blow up
Ok grear insight on the training=) can we get some insight on the cycle design while we're at it as well? I mean c'mon..natural lifters don't train arms for 3 hours like that..especially not at that age..soooo..?
That is what I HATE about Tom Cruise he is in all these action movies as a "badass" yet he looks like he sure be a waiter somewhere based off his physique. I would find it more believeable it he was cut being a badass a la Jason Stathome.
Well age doesnt matter i dont think but yea mike should tell him cause like i mean if he cant lift it properly then he should go lighter weight cause throwing his back like that just to curl can fuck up his back
It doesn’t matter when you are at a certain level of bodybuilding. If you look at his biceps, they are awesome. Also look at Denis Tsyplenkov and Devon Larratt and they do cheating biceps curls
Yea like when i do curls i go light to moderate weight and do nice steady curls and i keep my back straight like if i do go heavy i will lean back a bit but that's it i jever through my back never cause i dont want to injure myself cause bodybuilding is my passion and want to keep going

Your energy must be calm cause that dog is like paralyzed lol. I love the dog, how much can the dog bench? Or I guess he would only be good at close grip & squatting!

Man i love watching old 1994 infomercials telling me what im doing wrong in the gym.
The best way would be to start in the middle of the press (set the pins on the power rack) and perform a lock out movement. Great pimp too. !!
Is this 30 day training with meal plan on DVD ? Does Mike O'Hearn stress the techniques in the video ? This looks better than my BODY BEAST program.
