      May i use your speaking voice as a sample in a song ????
      I will send you the track beforehand for approval....
      Your lessons DEFINITELY have "song sample potential", technical but Good-Vibe laden !!!!!!
      Thank you, Oscar !!!!!!!

    As much as I love your lessons and find them more informative than many other channels, sometimes I feel like there are some shortcuts or topics which aren't focused enough.
    For example the scale midi effect, someone who is on a beginner level will only understand that:"try out presets maybe one will be good" which is true but I think that would be a better approach to talk a little bit about how the effect work so the user will be able to mess around with that instead of using presets.
    Or the arp where the user will be a little bit familiar with the sync, the order, and the steps but that's just a small portion of the effect.
    Although I understand those videos should be short little bites and appreciate them a lot, they are more than amazing and you are an awesome teacher!

    Sounds like the old classic strategy from simple things to something complicated and interesting. Hans Zimmer also developed simple things, citing the famous beginning of Beethoven, Symphony 5, 1st movement simple but powerful.
    This strategy is also present in the drawings.

    The reason I learned to play an actual instrument was roughly 9 years ago when I wanted to produce but didn't have a clue wtf I was doing and well I actually became passionate about it and coming back to producing has been a lot easier 😁

    Please can you answer my question How to increase RMS ! And whats the best setting between RMS and peak?

    • @OscarUnderdog
      @OscarUnderdog  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      to increase the RMS, use a limiter (or a compressor if you're more advanced), but be careful: if you push this too far your sound will distort or sound bad. Watch my video on managing your dynamic range!
