Case in a nutshell.
He’s been with her 8 years, never married her but calls her his wife. Sir, have several seats. Sounds to me like his girlfriend is the one who dislikes the grandmother and he follows her commands.

My parents didn't use physical punishment on my sister and I (they didn't believe in it), but one look from either our mom or dad would have been enough to shut us up for the next month. I see the way some kids talk to their parents nowadays, whether little kids or grown-ass adults like that doofus, and it boggles my mind.

I can’t believe he went off of his mom for being 10 minutes late dropping off his son after keeping the child all weekend. If it was that important why didn’t he and his “wife” go pick the child up? Plus it’s a freaking movie.

Plus previews are like 10-15 minutes long, so I doubt they even missed ANY of the movie.
Movies always have 1/2 hours of ads, trailers, cell phone courtesy instructions anyway, so no huge deal. And in our small town you select your seats to boot.
Furthermore: when you plan to go see a film, you make sure you without any rush, you have time to find a car place, to buy your ticket, to let your child pickup the snacks he wants. So, 10 minutes late is not a big deal.
I remember after my divorce my grown children subsidized my income for a whole year until I could get back on my feet and they did it with pure joy because I was their mother. And I praise God for them!

My mom never wants money from my brother and I... When we give her gifts, she wants to pay back. We fight firmly to make her keep her money, but we know that she'll soon or later give her free money... the gift's price and more. Both of us are financially good, but she still wants to give us money. Once, my brother threatened her to give her money back, so she threatened him to disown him. I love my mom and her damn logic. x)

My mother passed away when my son was 2. She never met my daughter. I would give a limb to have my mother be here to just see my kids. My only grandmother was so important to me. I wish I had more time with her.
