Bummer, i was going for Mr. Perfect and predicting the final 2 would've been Bret and Perfect. Yes a part 2 of Intl. Champions would be cool. Might as well throw in, an all heavy weight champions (and part 2) and Cruiserweight Champions rumble (and a part 2) too? Ohh, I just thought of this one, it might be difficult to dig into history to do? Wrestlers who have had a chance to wrestle against the current WWE/F champion (any era) and lose to them on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smack Down? I think it's usually a jobber sometimes or a mid ranker that was popular at the time or just to spice things up between two top contenders. It was usually a throw in, from Vince McMahan or a commissioner to follow a story plot or twist or cheat out the champ from their current story, usually before a big PPV? I do remember Vince would always come up with a " brilliant plan", at the time he would kindly remember everyone " because I always get what I want!" So there's a an idea if possible?
Fantastic Rumble, Dude! Gunther just broke The Honky Tonk's record for the longest title run. A tabloid reported that the 71 year old Honky Man was going to interfere in the match to help Gable win the title. Rhodes don't run!
Great rumble Ricky! My Intercontinental Mount Rushmore is: Owen Hart, Mr. Perfect, Rob Van Dam & Razor Ramon! A trivial side note: Jericho has held it a record 9 times Rick Flair is the oldest at the age of 56+ years old Jeff Hardy is the youngest at the age of 23+ years Pedro Morales has a combined 619 days for his 2 reigns There are dozens of other wrestlers who have held the IC championship! So I agree having a second rumble should happen!👍🏻 Cheers, Mike L 😎🇨🇦✌🏼

The term itself originally referred to North and South America, but in 1985 the championship belt design’s centerpiece now centered on the Atlantic Ocean, in a map including western Africa and Europe. As of today, the current champion is Gunther, who is in his first reign and tied with the Honky Tonk Man for the longest reign, with Gunter to become the longest reigning champion tomorrow (Having won the title on June 10, 2022, against Ricochet). But in this very match to determine some additional champions for the finale, thirty of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time meet in the ring hoping to proclaim a spot in the season finale. But the ending we would see is so jaw-dropping, we almost can’t believe it happened. When it came down to the last two contenders, separated by decades, Eddie Guerreo would steal the win in this rumble for a shot at the champion’s rumble. A feat that would be tremendous… if not for the fact that he ‘already’ won a spot by winning the Dead Man’s rumble in episode 4. What does this mean for Eddie Guerrero considering this is ‘technically’ the second rumble he’s won this season? The simple matter being that by winning two rumbles this season, Eddie stands the best chance of winning the champion’s rumble. But speaking on my own behalf, I feel two things should happen and I think Ricky J. really should hear what I am saying: By winning two rumbles, Eddie Guerrero should be given the ‘best’ advantage the series can offer by entering as the final entrant in the finale thereby giving him the best chance to win the finale. And because Mr. Perfect managed to be the runner-up, he should still have a spot in the finale by a matter of ‘default’ because had he thrown Guerrero away after hitting the perfect-plex he’d be the winner of this match and not Guerrero. I’m merely speaking as a matter of fairness, especially considering this was a rumble where technically it featured competitors who are already in the champion’s rumble anyway (Four in mind, actually). But who was my MVP of this IC champions rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty champions involved in this match, only FOURTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count reached up to ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: Ultimate Warrior Yes, I am aware he’s ‘technically’ already in the champion’s rumble (The eighth man in the finals actually). But putting all that aside, there’s a reason why Ultimate Warrior is one of the most dominant wrestlers on this series whether we like him or not. Coming in like wildfire, Warrior turned up the heat against everyone fighting for a chance to get into the rumble (Whereas for him, he too likely sought an advantage by winning this rumble). Regardless of if he’d win or lose this match, Warrior still holds a place in the finale and him being in the match serves as a reminder just who’s a big threat in this series. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Goldust Let me make one thing perfectly clear: I don’t ‘hate’ Goldust; I don’t even dislike Dustin Rhodes as a performer. When I saw him win the CCW Heavyweight Championship years ago, and as Dustin Rhodes, I was happy for the man because this would be the most success of him having a singles championship since his days as an IC Champion. But lately, whereas Dusty is making headlines going to the finals with Cody’s status yet to be determined (Or else the question marks would be gone by now), Goldust has ‘failed’ to truly make a lasting impression in this series and lately he’s been on a slump getting into the champion’s rumble. I’m not saying he’s a terrible competitor by any means, but if he wants to join his family in the finals, he needs to figure out what he needs to do if he wants to win a major rumble. If he could get any more desperate to win a rumble, there’s always that ‘Seven’ gimmick he briefly had in WCW until it was dropped for the misinterpretation of him being a ‘child abductor’ (But got to do what you must do to win a rumble… right?). Eddie Guerrero secures his second victory this season of Ricky J.’s rumble, aiming to secure an advantage going into the finals. On that note, we ask a few questions: After what we’ve witnessed in this match, is there enough time for a second IC Champion’s ramble with competitors we didn’t get to see? Could we also see a rumble of the U.S. Championship title holders? How about a Hardcore Champion’s rumble? I’ve got a whole line-up on those guys. And the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
32:19 It's interesting seeing Jarrett, Prefect and Eddie all in the ring together as Jarrett was in The Four Horsemen in 1997 but then got kicked out of the group while simultaneously feuding with Dean Malenko which got him and Eddie to join forces as heels while Perfect took Jarrett's place in The Horsemen only to turn of them, I think it would be cool to see those three and Rowdy Roddy Piper (who had a fallout with The Horsemen around the time as well after he and Flair were recently teammates) team up against Flair, Mongo, That Benoit Guy and Malenko a/k/a The Final Version Of The Four Horsemen (too bad Jarrett was in WWF when that version came together and disbanded by the time he came back to WCW)
I get putting Hogan on the Mountain but only due to star power. But to me that’s not enough. Mine is based off in ring skill… Bret Hart, HBK, Undertaker and Randy Orton But since it’s IC title based we shall go Macho Man, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart and The Miz!
Don Muraco didn't hold the title for seven years. He had two title reigns. Both times he won the belt from Pedro Morales. His first run was about six months. The second run was a little over a year.
I agree, the IC title matches and feuds were so epic. My favorite PPV matches and tltle as well. Shawn Michaels peak (my opinion) was when he waa either chasing or holding the IC title.
A rhyme with Owen and Goin, Todd Pettengill did that when he was singing the opening of the 1997 WWF Slammy Awards 🎵The Excellence Of Execution, Bret The Hitman Hart, Brother Owen Better Get Goin🎵
I like how towards the end you have Bret, Perfect, Piper and the Mountie. Bret Hart won it from Perfect. Lost it to the Mountie. Piper beat the Mountie for it. Bret wins it back from Piper.

Another fantastic Rumble Ricky! You always bring the joy and entertainment in these videos. Thanks for keeping the series alive! 💯 Also I don't know if you have done a Rumble with guys who had a fast elimination. Could call it "Fast Exit Rumble!" 😂
It's a toss up between Mister Perfect and The Mountie as MVP, although I wouldn't mind if both were featured in the MVP Royal Rumble. Those two put on great displays of athleticism.
What an awesome Rumble and what an fantastic Final Three that was (Hitman & Perfect are both on my Mount Rushnmore). Unfortunately Mr. Perfect didn´t win but I´m also happy for Eddie.
4:55 Even though that's DX leader Triple H, but it still is relevant as he did beat Rock in the Ladder Match at 1998 Summerslam (even though he was wearing purple pants in that match), but he even held it twice as The Game when he and Stone Cold were The Two Man Power-Trip by winning it from Chris Jericho and lost it to Jeff Hardy for a few days only to win it back, The Triple H you're referring to (The Greenwich Snob Hunter Hearst-Helmsley) wore black pants with two white rings around the ankles (Seth Rollins wore similar pants when he branched away from The Shield), while in 1997 before he help form DX, he wore black pants with a belt (except the Royal Rumble, he wore red pants that one night only)
25:50 You mean to tell me that you never thought Piper ever won a belt in WWF/E, even though he won The IC belt from The Mountie at the 1992 Royal Rumble, I would've thought you would've easily known that, as he was the only Royal Rumble participant working double that night, as you mentioned before that 1992 was one of your top two favorite Royal Rumbles, on another note, even though this wasn't during his prime, he also won The WWE Tag Belts with Ric Flair in 2006
With the" topping out " at intercontinental champ stioulation id say you have to also talk about rickey steamboat and razor ramon.... If im not mistaking
If you wanted to do an all Ricky Royal Rumble here's a list. 1. Ricky Steamboat 2. Rick Rude 3. Ricky Morton 4. Ric Flair 5. Rick Martel 6. Rick Nash 7. Ricky Lafleur (Trailer Park Boys) 8. Rick Steiner 9. Rick Boogs 10. Ricky Hatton 11. Ricky Martin 12. Rick Ross 13. Rick James 14. Rick Springfield 15. Rick Moranis 16. Ricky Gervais 17. Rick Sanchez 18. Ricky Ray 19. Rick Grimes 20. Ricky Ricardo 21. Ricky Bobby 22. Rick O'Connell (The Mummy) 23. Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn (Major League) 24. Ricky Nelson 25. Rick Astley 26. Rick Derringer 27. Ricky Henderson 28. Ricky Williams 29. Ricky Burns 30. Ricky J
Another fun rumble Ricky! Can you do one with cruiser weight/light heavy weight champs? Those guys typically don’t last long in rumbles so it would be gray to see one make it to the champion’s rumble. Billy Kidman, psychosis, Taka Michinoku, ultimo dragon, etc
I would pay top dollar to see a match Prime Owen against Prime Steamboat. This looks like the first itteration of Goldust, the best one Funny, before you mentionned it, I thought that you need to do another one with Valentine, Morales and Pat Patterson
Great work Ricky. Cheers for all your amazing content.

Since September 1st, 1979, the WWE Intercontinental Championship is a relic of history, the third-oldest championship active in the WWE, behind the WWE Championship (1963) and the United States Championship (1975), but the second-longest tenured championship, as WWE has only owned the U.S. championship since 2001.
Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty champions involved in this match, only FOURTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count reached up to ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to:
Ultimate Warrior
Yes, I am aware he’s ‘technically’ already in the champion’s rumble (The eighth man in the finals actually).
The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to:
Goldust
Let me make one thing perfectly clear: I don’t ‘hate’ Goldust; I don’t even dislike Dustin Rhodes as a performer.
And the biggest question of them all:
Who’s next?
Gotta do the other titles as well. European/hardcore/lightweight/
You're right. I was more into the Intercontinental Championships than the main championships.
My Mount Rushmore is Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Ric Flair.
This one hit me in all the right spots Ricky. Those 80s and 90s IC champs were like a walk through my childhood. And the Mountie for MVP!
I am glad it did
I get putting Hogan on the Mountain but only due to star power. But to me that’s not enough. Mine is based off in ring skill…
Bret Hart, HBK, Undertaker and Randy Orton
But since it’s IC title based we shall go
Macho Man, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart and The Miz!
A part 2 would be great
Don Muraco didn't hold the title for seven years.
There have been 89 Intercontinental champions. So this is almost exactly one third of the champs
I love the all wrestler rumbles. Pumped for this one brother!
A rhyme with Owen and Goin, Todd Pettengill did that when he was singing the opening of the 1997 WWF Slammy Awards 🎵The Excellence Of Execution, Bret The Hitman Hart, Brother Owen Better Get Goin🎵
With 89 IC Champions, You should do two more rumbles with every single IC champ
Have Pat Patterson enter both rumbles
We definitely need a part 2 of this. I'm so curious of seeing how current Intercontinental Champion Gunther will do
You took my idea.. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah Dig it!!!!
I like how towards the end you have Bret, Perfect, Piper and the Mountie. Bret Hart won it from Perfect. Lost it to the Mountie. Piper beat the Mountie for it. Bret wins it back from Piper.
How about having an Broadway Rumble with Hugh Jackman,James Earl Jones,Fred Astaire,Hank Azaria,Alan Alda,Scott Bakula,Lance Bass,Jack Benny,Harry Belafonte,Milton Berle,Raymond Burr,James Cagney,Neil Patrick Harris,Jason Alexander,Tim Curry,Sammy Davis Jr.,Buddy Ebsen.W.C Fields.Morgan Freeman.Richard Gere,Jackie Gleason,Kelsey Grammer,Andy Griffith,Tom Selleck,Bob Hope,John Travolta,Denzel Washington,Patrick Stewart,Mickey Rooney and Samuel L.Jackson.
Love it dude
Hogan not only has inches on Macho, he also had lust in his eyes for Elizabeth! All of Hogan’s hotdogging and grandstanding! 😂
Mt. Rushmore: Hogan, Andre, Rock, Austin
Nice list 👌
Another epic rumble! Part 2 please IC Champs!
Ricky. I'm loving these rumbles. you got to do a mixed rumble...all Samoan!
Ok I will try!!
How on Earth can a CAW make an Owen Hart look that accurate?
That was a dream final two man. Totally agree you should do another Intercontinental Champions Rumble at some point!
Owen Hart vs Ricky Steamboat, both in their primes, would have been absolutely AMAZING.
I'd say my Mount Rushmore would be The Rock, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, and Sting.
My Rushmore: Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Von Erich and Bret "Hitman" Hart!

@@RickyJSports Maybe a Mt. Rushmore Wargames Tournament?
My Mt Rushmore is Stone Cold, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, Sting.
Amen brother. Mr. Perfect was the greatest intercontinental champion of all time
Mt Rushmore. Savage , rowdy piper, jake the snake iron sheik
Little known fact about Kerry von Erich when he held the IC title he wrestled he only had one foot. he lost it in a motorcycle accident and had a prosthetic one inside his wrestling boot
Wow that's crazy
Man, you're getting a lot of quality celebrities on these intros!
Another fantastic Rumble Ricky! You always bring the joy and entertainment in these videos. Thanks for keeping the series alive! 💯 Also I don't know if you have done a Rumble with guys who had a fast elimination. Could call it "Fast Exit Rumble!" 😂
Thx big guy!!
It looks like we will get an extra Rumble since the winner won twice this season.
That should just get played back for BS of the year. The dragon cleaning house and just get randomly closed line
I love seeing the finishers. Perfect for mvp
Me too
Christian, Miz, Randy Orton, and more
My Mount Rushmore is Arn Anderson,Rick Rude, Barry Windham and Bob Holly
My Rushmore is all guys who saved wrestling during the Monday Night Wars: Austin, Foley, Rock, and Vince
What's up, Ricky J?❓️❔️I think that it would be a cool idea for to have Royal Rumble with WWE Superstars who won the heavyweight title.👍🏋♂️🏋♀️🏋😎😱
This was one of your best and that covers a lot of ground
this one was amazing man! can't wait for the champions rumble!
It's a toss up between Mister Perfect and The Mountie as MVP, although I wouldn't mind if both were featured in the MVP Royal Rumble. Those two put on great displays of athleticism.
I would need so.eobe to help me with a list
What an awesome Rumble and what an fantastic Final Three that was (Hitman & Perfect are both on my Mount Rushnmore). Unfortunately Mr. Perfect didn´t win but I´m also happy for Eddie.
Thx patty
thats the best final 2 in my opinion. Eddie Guerrero vs Mr Perfect. 👍
The thing though eddie won twice this season!!
Best Ricky Steamboat matches imo were against Ric Flair, back then matches lasted for an hour
Hogan, Flair, Austin, Angle
4:55 Even though that's DX leader Triple H, but it still is relevant as he did beat Rock in the Ladder Match at 1998 Summerslam (even though he was wearing purple pants in that match), but he even held it twice as The Game when he and Stone Cold were The Two Man Power-Trip by winning it from Chris Jericho and lost it to Jeff Hardy for a few days only to win it back, The Triple H you're referring to (The Greenwich Snob Hunter Hearst-Helmsley) wore black pants with two white rings around the ankles (Seth Rollins wore similar pants when he branched away from The Shield), while in 1997 before he help form DX, he wore black pants with a belt (except the Royal Rumble, he wore red pants that one night only)
25:50 You mean to tell me that you never thought Piper ever won a belt in WWF/E, even though he won The IC belt from The Mountie at the 1992 Royal Rumble, I would've thought you would've easily known that, as he was the only Royal Rumble participant working double that night, as you mentioned before that 1992 was one of your top two favorite Royal Rumbles, on another note, even though this wasn't during his prime, he also won The WWE Tag Belts with Ric Flair in 2006
Can't believe you included the mountie who was a champion for like 2 days, over Greg the hammer Valentine.
That’s embarrassing getting eliminated by Bobby Lashley. The real Ravishing Rick Rude would never let Bobby Lashley eliminate him EVER!
How about a 24/7 title rumble Ricky? There will be a good amount of superstars that haven’t had much of a go in your other rumbles.
With the" topping out " at intercontinental champ stioulation id say you have to also talk about rickey steamboat and razor ramon.... If im not mistaking
I think jarrett goes the best I c He holds it at nine times and one japan I c title
If you wanted to do an all Ricky Royal Rumble here's a list.
1. Ricky Steamboat

27. Ricky Henderson
28. Ricky Williams
29. Ricky Burns
30. Ricky J
Haha awesome
I thought Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock would've been good in this
Another fun rumble Ricky! Can you do one with cruiser weight/light heavy weight champs? Those guys typically don’t last long in rumbles so it would be gray to see one make it to the champion’s rumble.
Billy Kidman, psychosis, Taka Michinoku, ultimo dragon, etc
Cool do I have 30?
@@RickyJSportshe want the Midget Division.
@@RickyJSports if you use wcw cruiser weights, you can supplement with wwf light heavyweights when needed. The titles were merged

Mobsters Rumble? Maybe add Jimmy Hoffa for the heck if it?
I would pay top dollar to see a match Prime Owen against Prime Steamboat.
This looks like the first itteration of Goldust, the best one
Funny, before you mentionned it, I thought that you need to do another one with Valentine, Morales and Pat Patterson
