You mentioned Scott Hall’s passing, and how some people reported it earlier than it, apparently, happened. I’m not ashamed to admit that I shed some real tears over his passing. My sister bought me socks of the Outsiders for my birthday a couple years ago, and I wore them to an even not long after his passing as a memorial to him. Yeah, that may sound lame, but he meant a lot to me. Don’t judge. Lol. I cried when him, Macho Man, Mean Gene and Rowdy Roddy Piper passed.
Should do a wemen's one next.
Like tina Turner, sinead o connor
Etc.
I bet its still real to you damit 😂😂😂
Very good this "italian start" with Maradona (who played here for years) and the half-italian Kobe. Thank you! 🙏💯
My favorite part about watching your videos is that I understand damn near every reference, anecdote you bring up. It's like listening to a friend talk and I'm sitting here nodding in agreement.
Agreed.
My hero
VIVA LA RAZA! Great Rumble Ricky. Man i still miss Eddie and Owen. By both of them I can exactly remember the Moment and Situation I were in as i heard from their passing. So sad.
I'm a simple man. I see a Ricky J video, I watch it.
i love u man thanks!
Agreed
@@RickyJSportsOwen Hart was better, I saw him at the Chicago 🌹 Rosemont Horizon the night before he died. The next night he died at the pay pre view, and I watched live.
This was an amazing rumble but I missed the Ultimate Warrior. He was my favorite Wrestler back then. Keep going, I love your rumbles 🇩🇪🙋♀️💖
I feel the same about Kobe, had his jersey and shoes in high school!
Ricky I feel ya buddy, I'm the same when it comes to losing friends and family. It's just knowing the finality of someone's life, and the ripple effect that has on everyone they knew. Much love to all those we've lost. 🙏💯🤘
Jim Morrison in a rumble? Hell yeah!!!
woohooo!!

To all the fallen competitors and celebrities who have gathered to take part in this rumble, we salute you. A particular special rumble that features the iconic individuals of our time who have all gathered to celebrate life… and a chance to cement themselves into the champion’s rumble. To even say that this is a powerful rumble is an understatement. Without question, those who’ve felt strongly for these individuals (Especially those who passed away while they were still at the prime of their youth, we can’t help but shed a tear for their mournful loss. But at the end of the day, twenty-nine competitors will go back to their period of their passing… while one gets the opportunity to compete to become a champion.
And after all these seasons, Eddie Guerrero receives that rare opportunity of competing in the champion’s rumble. Widely considered one of the greatest and most influential professional wrestlers of all time, he’s performed in Mexico, Japan, and the United States for major professional wrestling promotions. For years, Guerrero’s gimmick was that of a ‘Latino Heat’, a crafty, resourceful wrestler who would do anything to win a match… and yet he rarely won a rumble in this series. During the time of his career, Eddie Guerrero has won multiple titles, formed several alliances, and even posthumously inducted into three different halls of fame. It’s not every season that Guerrero wins a rumble to enter the champion’s rumble, and we sincerely hope he truly is willing to do whatever it takes to win.
Now who was my MVP of this Dead Man’s rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty late competitors featured in this bout, SIXTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count of the day reached ‘3’ eliminations, which is two points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
The nominees for the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance are:
Eddie Guerrero
‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper
Notorious B.I.G.
Umaga
Elvis Presley
Essentially, they each eliminated 3 competitors and yet four of them were removed, while one competitor won the rumble. Under normal circumstances, I’d automatically give the medal to Guerrero because he’s the obvious rumble. But if this season decides to reintroduce an ‘MVP’ rumble, I suggest my pick for the award today… ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. This man has struggled hard to even make it as far as being a runner-up in a rumble, as he was the closest to win before Guerrero. Like Guerrero, he passed away while leaving behind a legacy in the industry and we hope this won’t be the last we hear of Piper this season.
The Dull Participation medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to:
Bruce Lee
It’s one thing for Bruce Lee to lose a rumble, he barely left an impression on NoDQ CAW. But to suffer an elimination by a comedian, the late Bob Saget of all people… yikes. There was no way I could look past this failure even if Bruce Lee is a celebrated martial artist and film star. I mean this man was barely in the match for seconds and his time was cut short in a matter of seconds. I’ll always appreciate Bruce Lee for his work… but this was not his best.
In death there is life, and Eddie Guerrero is living the dream of competing in the champion’s rumble. As the season progresses, the following questions remain: Will we feature any late competitors in the champion’s rumble? Will the next winner be yet another professional wrestler? What about a ‘Death Battle’ rumble featuring the competitors who survived their fights to the death? Fair warning, for that last question it’s a mighty ‘long’ list of men and women. But the BIGGEST question of them all:
Who’s next?
Wow Ricky, what a rumble bro!!!! Thanks you, you are the man!!!!! Been down from rumble season#1
Man. Seeing some of these people hits in the feels
Michael Jackson got The Razors Edge twice--and that arms out position reminded me when he would reach his arms out and scream in one of his videos ..
Just had to break our hearts with this one Ricky. Great rumble as always.
I remember watching the race live that took Dale Earnhardt from us. He and Sterling Marlin went into the wall, allowing his son to place second and I honestly forget the winner's name. Seeing how his car impacted head first into wall, you knew it was going to be a bad one. Then, while everyone was celebrating the winners, there were still paramedics surrounding his car. It was one of those where you knew it wasn't good news. Gone too soon was Dale Earnhardt (I think he was both Sr and Jr due to being a son and naming his son Dale)
Picture being in the crowd holding
A sign saying we miss you.
I'm amazed he didn't do wemen yet.
The move Piper did around 36:00 to Tupac was, indeed, a Bulldog.
Ricky J, you still owe me a villains/bad boys of sports rumble
I'm not much of a sports fan.. but you would DEFINITELY have to add McMahon.. a "true" bad boy in every sense 🤣
Man Ricky, there is a whole lot of fog in here for sure...gotta say though,I love the flash photography...
I love how Diego Maradona went to the ring with that Eddie Guerrero "I Lie I Cheat I Steal" vibe... #HandOfGodGoal
"When all four competitors have a never-say-die attitude"... I'm a dead man's rumble. Nice.
I had no clue Jerry Springer was dead until this , wow!!
Another awesome video as always and this one did pull on the heart strings🔥🔥
What's up, Ricky J?❔️❓️I think that you should do a Royal Rumble with famous people who are in their 70's, 80's, and 90's.🤔Dead and alive.🪦⚰️I also think that you should have put Tony Bennett in the Dead Man's Royal Rumble.🎙🎤
I believe that. You are right on that 1 cause. I think Owen was not pushed enough. I think Owen would have been better than Brett. If they let him, I'm very passionate about Owen I'm very passionate about one.
A new idea (if only to me) that might or might not have been done: A champions ONLY rumble or series. Each character (past or present) can only qualify by having held at some point a championship in wrestling (pro/amateur), boxing, MMA, UFC or other credible individual sports thought of by you or subscribers.
"Buffalo Soldier" sounds like the perfect name to give to a Bob Marley wrestling persona. My only question is, would he be a heel or a face?
Great Rumble, Ricky! Sadly, a coworker passed away last week, and his funeral is today. I repeated one of your Rumble videos yesterday and it was another RIP Rumble. BTW, while Kurt Angle considers Bob Backlund the greatest technical wrestler, I think it was Bret The Hitman. He never botched up!
Did Owen and Eddie ever have a match against each other? That would have been an absolute BANGER.
No.
No it wouldn’t have
Whatz up Ricky J ! I'm back with news from the Nintendo 64 game console ! I was playing the video game WWF NO MERCY Survival and I won the whole thing with none other than Matt Hardy ! I was remembering what he says, (Never say die attitude!!!) 🤟
Bret and Owen were about even to me. Bret was the better technical mat wrestler, Owen was the better acrobat and high-flyer.
That's why they called Umaga the Samoan bulldozer
Awesome royal rumble ❤❤❤❤ glad 🙂 Eddie won
I loved Macho Man when I was a kid, but my brother thought his name was Nacho Man Randy Sandwich
My favorite Bob Marley song is Zimbabwe. Might be a top 5 song ever for me.
Hey Ricardo, you'll appreciate this. My comment amigos too. I asked my daughter if she wanted to go to the pool with mama or after I get off work? She said wait till I'm off. Then she said going with me was like going to the Waterpark. Going with mama is like rubbing your ass in a puddle. Lol she's nine.
32:07 how symbolic of that both Tupac and Biggie are down after attacking each other 😅
I'm glad you're feeling better buddy. I was worried about ya.
My conscious want let me watch this but I'll hit da like buttoned 😅😅😅
woohoo!!!!!
With regards to Roddy Piper, IMO, his match with Bret Hart at Wrestlemania VIII was one of his best in terms of the story around and in the match; it helped that Bret Hart was also VERY good at carrying other wrestlers (watch his match with his RL brother-in-law, The British Bulldog, at Summerslam 1992 (held in London), or Tom McGee in 1985)...
Here's an idea for a future Rumble: Evil Versions Of Good Guys, like Hollywood Hogan, Venom (evil Spider-Man), Bizarro Superman, Red Hulk, Mirror Universe Spock, Evil Lincoln!!!! (Futurama)
Jennifer Love Hewitt on the wall? You are man of fine taste!
Buddy Holley is the real king 👑 of rock and roll 🎸
man, this Rumble had me dead, it's funny as always
thanks og!!
Love your channel man. If you ever do another rest in peace rumble can you include another wrestler who passed away with Orndorf-Beautiful Bobby Eaton tag team specialist? Midnight Express was one of my favorite teams
I appreciate you man!
Awesome video as usual brother!Hope you get well soon
Rip these legends
Glad your getting better brother
My Mt. Rushmore is simple: Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Hawk & Animal
There was a few seasons where Gretzky had more assists than the next highest scorer had in total points...
A lot of my friends are dead now. At least the fun ones. In life's book, some chapters have new characters coming in while other chapters have characters exiting. I never get sad, but I wish they were here, because I'm bored all the time now.
Hmm. I wonder if there's enough famous 'Misters' to put together a Rumble now. Wonderful, Perfect, T, Hughes, Clean, Fantastic, Mr. Wrestling, Rogers, Spock, Incredible, Bean, Peabody, Miyagi, Mxyzptlk ...
I am glad you are feeling better. You should do a "Cowboy" rumble featuring actors such as Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, John Payne, etc. to wrestlers including The Smoking Gunns, Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce, Doubele J Jeff Jarrett, to even the real deals such as Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid, and Jesse James.
just for lulz, add in Tony Romo or Dak Prescott =p
😆
I love Eddie favorite wrestler I new he would win
Robin Williams great actor. I had to go listen to Iron Maiden's song Tears of a Clown because it's a great song a tribute for Robin.
Bob marley sang iron lion zion waiting in vain could you be loved🎸
Cool to finally see Jim Morrison in a rumble...
thats for u!
I'd like to see Disney Ladies.. any- Snow White, the Frozen sisters, Cruella, Brave, Sabrina Teenage Witch, Hocus Pocus, you name it.. lol.. I can help if you need more . 😂
great match and video 😊
They should have Big Vader or King Kong Bundy or Paul Bear or Andra the Gaint .
My top 4 favorite wrestlers would be Sting, Steve Austin, Macho, and Hogan.
Jennifer Love Hewitt poster! Good taste!!
A suggestion: maybe do a legitimate tough guys rumble. Guys like Haku, Andre, Harley Race, Lesnar, Dynamite Kid, Bruiser Brody, Barbarian.....
About Roddy Piper, one of my friends worked on a film of his and he got to talk to him quite a bit. He once asked him if the sleeper hold really works.... Roddy executed the move on my friend..... it works!!!

We Need the LATIN RUMBLE !!!!!
I've watched a few of these videos now, with the Royal Rumbles and such, you often talk about what is your "Mt Rushmore" of favorite wrestlers.....I have a sort of weird pick for one of mine. Barry Horowitz. Sure, he was mostly a "jobber" but damn, watch some of his matches, he was just smooth as all hell in the ring, made anyone who he was with look good.
I loved berry back in the day
@@RickyJSports Stevie Richards actually did a really good video about Barry on his channel. (if you haven't seen his channel yet, I totally recommend it, he really breaks down a lot of stuff in an interesting way!)

Hi Ricky J. Been watching your videos for awhile. Been enjoying the content. Keep up the good work. Also, I have an idea for a future rumble. Is it alright if you could do a rumble that features cartoon characters from Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon? I think that would be a fun one to see.
thanks so much man yeah i will do that hopefully soon!
How about a Battle Of The Giants Rumble? Low-Weights and even Heavy-Weights need not apply for it's all about the Gargantuan. Andre The Giant, The Great Kali, The Big Show, even Shaq as well being the literally big icon that he is.
I hope Vin Diesel is watching this Rumble, just to see his brother walk into the ring.
Yes I do
Ps: being a Canadian, I'm surprised you didn't add Gordon Lightfoot
Owen & Piper should have been Heavyweight champ
Should have called it the afterlife

Could he get enough characters?.. how about adding Skyrim with Storm Cloaks Dark Brotherhood and others.. lol
So the hubby just "Schooled" me and said Skyrim but may not be a good choice WITH Assassin's Creed.. but I'm a girl. What do I know.. I'd watch! 🤣🤣
Do a rumble where wwe/WCW former Wrestlers held the big gold belt
Hay mate Bob Saget was in full house
And you need to be George Strait or Johnny Cash

Ricky J I agree with your top mount rush more except for Hogan. Replace him with Bret. Can you remember there being a good Hogan match. He loved to play creative control card. Mr. Perfect was going to with Royal Rumble 90 and 91, but nope Hogan changed that. Hogan was the champion in 1990 did he really need that win. If you were setting for Hogan vs Warrior why not have Warrior win it. And if it wasn't for Hogan do think Nasty boys Brian Knobs would ever make it the final in Royal Rumble 1991. Did he just happened to be Hogan boy. Did make wrestling money yes but I have no respect for him. I rest my case.
The best footballer of all time is Pele and nothing was accidental about “The Hand of God Goal” he knew exactly what he was doing against a team that was better than him.
Could you feature Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell in your next R.I.P. video?
One of the future seasons could easily be made up entirely of deceased celebs and wrestlers.
nice
I never knock anyone's Rushmore. Mine is Austin, Hogan, Flair and Rock
Love it
Nwo Macho did win a rumble Ricky J
