fun fact the beef between Jean Claude Van Damme vs Steven Seagal was so heated, it cost both of them a movie that would have them facing each other in. Original Demolition man have Van Damme vs Seagal but their egos and hatred for each other cost them that movie and it would go to Sylvester Stallone vs Wesley Snipes instead.

Only this time, this episode took a rather unique approach and paired the duos under the most unlikely of circumstances as possible. By which I do not mean a team with those colorful gimmicks that never get a championship opportunity, but rather a pair of athletes we’d never expect to ever work together. One notable example I can think of was when Charlie Haas reluctantly teamed with Rico and somehow they ended up winning the tag team titles together (Now that’s a Smackdown I will never forget). These teams were not going for gold, but what we’ve seen proves how much they are willing to put their differences aside temporarily for the biggest opportunity in this series. In the end, when it came down to two individuals procuring the most eliminations, it would be He-Man who’d get the last laugh and secure himself a slot in the champion’s rumble (And one for Skeletor too). Now He-Man did most of the heavy lifting throughout the entire match, as Skeletor was eliminated before he could prove how dominant he truly is. In a way, Skeletor owes his nemesis a big favor that He-Man was fortunate enough to make their entry into the champion’s rumble possible. He-Man will be running into some very familiar faces in the finale this season, especially some colleagues from the 80’s. Whether or not either of these men stand a chance at winning the finals remains up in the air as of this time. But who was my MVP of this unlikely duo’s rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the fifteen unlikely pairs featured in this match, only THIRTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (Sort of like the last episode). The highest count of the night reached ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: He-Man This match could’ve gone either way as He-Man was toe-to-toe with Dr. Robotnik, who ended up lasting longer than expected. But in the end, experience prevailed for this ‘Master of the Universe’ and he proved just too powerful for one of the smartest mad men in the media to overcome. But not to be a downer towards Robotnik, it is fair to note that by combining his time with his rival they ultimately proved to be the greater team by longevity (Considering both teams had the same number of eliminations, but in Robotnik’s case both members contributed to the eliminations). The nominees for the Dull Participation medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are: Lion-O… and Tommy Fury I will admit I’ve never heard of Tommy Fury until this match and based on the research over how good he’s supposed to be… this match didn’t show him at his best. But I have to lean the medal towards Lion-O because of the fact that this was a pretty poor performance for someone who’s already in the match. Add to the disappointing run of Mumm-Ra, the statistics make the ‘Thundercats’ team the worst performing duo in the match (Even lower than the boxing team of Balboa & Drago). If this is how Lion-O performs in an exhibition type of rumble, I find the chances of him winning the finals are looking pretty slim right now. Tonight, He-Man & Skeletor proved that they don’t need to like each other to make for a great team but this temporary alliance permits them a bigger opportunity to fight for the champion’s rumble (But will this alliance last?). With only five slots remaining this season, more questions remain to be answered: Will we see any more Masters of the Universe competing for a shot into the champion’s rumble? Are there any big names in Mobius who can redeem the loss their colleagues faced? Will the line-up end with any more team bouts or five rumbles permitting one winner each? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
He-Man and Skeletor going to the champion's rumble will be truly an epic one to remember. Obviously Dr Robotnic for MVP, maybe he should go through with Heman to the champions rumble , he deserves it more than Skelator. Also it would be great if in the penultimate episode you could pause the video once we find out the last contestant for the final and load up all the players for the final , un-pause the video and show us the loading screen with all the contestants for next week's final . Actually the Montreal screw job was about bret hart being told he was going to win in the script but in the end was given to heartbreak kid because bret hart was also getting heat from Stone Cold. And the fact that it made Bret an awesome heel was just great
Regarding the situation with Bret Hart and The Montreal Screwjob. From what I understand, Vince and Bret had a meeting where the former shared his plan for Bret to drop the title to Shawn Michaels. Bret was originally resistant to losing to Shawn but gradually, with chagrin, accepted it on one condition: He suggested Vince book it so that Bret won in Montreal and drop it to Shawn the next day on Raw, where it was scheduled in an America city, before departing for WCW because he didn't want to lose in Canada. Vince agreed but Bret sought confirmation that it would go according to plan from Shawn and even referee Earl Hebner. Unfortunately, we all know what happened: Shawn put Bret in the sharpshooter, Vince called for the bell to ring, and the rest is history.
Maybe consider a new Mortal Kombat Rumble? With the new game out, I bet you could easily find 30 fighters! Also, include Beast Wars and you should get enough transformers for a rumble.
I loved Bloodsport. Very little plot but so much action. Its one of those movies I'll watch every time I see it on television, no matter what part its at. Did you know: The character that had his leg broken by Chong Li is the same actor that played Tong Po in Kickboxer.
Considering that a lot of these duos have actually teamed up, I don't think they're really all that unlikely. All it takes is a new threat that's bigger than both of them, and fictional heroes and villains will team up at the drop of a hat.

Great rumble. If you want a duos rumble, you should do a bromance rumble. Basically guys who are always by each others side and loved to hang out. (Not necessarily sidekicks) Example: Will and Jazz from Fresh Prince Screech and Zack from Saved by the Bell Billy and Chuck from Wwe Etc

I do think you should have the first member of the first 2 teams come out the have their teammates came in 3rd and 4th to decrease the team mates fighting each other in the beginning and screwing up the experiment
I wanted Skeletor to win this one. I still like the version from 2k22 with the "Skeletoes" (lol). I believe that sometimes an image of Hee-Man from the cartoon would match up with a trace of Arnold Mr. Olympia. Also, Hee-Man looks alot like Chevy Chase when he loses the wig.
Bret Hart had every reason and every right to refuse to lose to Shawn Michaels. 1. Bret had full creative control for, I believe, the last 30 days of his WWF contact. Which means he could choose who he would and wouldn't lose to. 2. After Bret dropped the belt to Shawn at Wrestlemania, Bret told Shawn that he was happy to do the job and would have no problem putting Shawn over any time. Shawn responded to this by telling Bret that he would never do a job for Bret. It was because of Shawn's disrespectful and unprofessional behavior that Bret refused to lose to Shawn in Montreal. That and Bret didn't want to lose in Canada. Many people don't know it, but the original plan for Wrestlemania 13 was a rematch between Bret and Shawn. Then Shawn "lost his smile". He had a supposed career ending knee injury that he made a miraculous recovery from a couple of months later. Many believe Shawn pulled this to get out of losing to Bret at Wrestlemania 13. Shawn did nothing to endear himself to Bret.
I psyched myself out playing the game, brotha! I thought Batman would be too obvious for Joker, so I thought Robin would be the one to come out since Joker killed the second Robin in the comics back in the day.
It was so Meta to see He-Man and Ivan Drago fighting each other (both Characters were played by Dolph Lundgren) 😁 Although my Man He-Man won, Robotnik was clearly the MVP here. I hope we see him again.

I think I understand what's going on with tag teams not working together, so I'm typically a universe mode guy when playing this game, and in universe mode you can select people as allies, when you do that and save it gives you the option to save for just the universe mode, or the main game also. Once you do that, they work together I've never had an issue with it. It isn't through tag teams. I also noticed, for some reason you can't set it up via the normal games roster, the option for allies and enemies just doesn't exist. It's only in universe mode that option exists and you can make people friends and work together, I know it's tedious to do but I had to put it out there 🤣🤣.

The tag team route of this season continues as fifteen pairs of competitors collide for either two spots into the champion’s rumble or per chance have one current champion securing an advantage. Only this time, this episode took a rather unique approach and paired the duos under the most unlikely of circumstances as possible. By which I do not mean a team with those colorful gimmicks that never get a championship opportunity, but rather a pair of athletes we’d never expect to ever work together. One notable example I can think of was when Charlie Haas reluctantly teamed with Rico and somehow they ended up winning the tag team titles together (Now that’s a Smackdown I will never forget). These teams were not going for gold, but what we’ve seen proves how much they are willing to put their differences aside temporarily for the biggest opportunity in this series.
In the end, when it came down to two individuals procuring the most eliminations, it would be He-Man who’d get the last laugh and secure himself a slot in the champion’s rumble (And one for Skeletor too). Now He-Man did most of the heavy lifting throughout the entire match, as Skeletor was eliminated before he could prove how dominant he truly is. In a way, Skeletor owes his nemesis a big favor that He-Man was fortunate enough to make their entry into the champion’s rumble possible. He-Man will be running into some very familiar faces in the finale this season, especially some colleagues from the 80’s. Whether or not either of these men stand a chance at winning the finals remains up in the air as of this time.
But who was my MVP of this unlikely duo’s rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the fifteen unlikely pairs featured in this match, only THIRTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (Sort of like the last episode). The highest count of the night reached ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to:
He-Man
This match could’ve gone either way as He-Man was toe-to-toe with Dr. Robotnik, who ended up lasting longer than expected. But in the end, experience prevailed for this ‘Master of the Universe’ and he proved just too powerful for one of the smartest mad men in the media to overcome. But not to be a downer towards Robotnik, it is fair to note that by combining his time with his rival they ultimately proved to be the greater team by longevity (Considering both teams had the same number of eliminations, but in Robotnik’s case both members contributed to the eliminations).
The nominees for the Dull Participation medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are:
Lion-O… and Tommy Fury
I will admit I’ve never heard of Tommy Fury until this match and based on the research over how good he’s supposed to be… this match didn’t show him at his best. But I have to lean the medal towards Lion-O because of the fact that this was a pretty poor performance for someone who’s already in the match. Add to the disappointing run of Mumm-Ra, the statistics make the ‘Thundercats’ team the worst performing duo in the match (Even lower than the boxing team of Balboa & Drago). If this is how Lion-O performs in an exhibition type of rumble, I find the chances of him winning the finals are looking pretty slim right now.
Tonight, He-Man & Skeletor proved that they don’t need to like each other to make for a great team but this temporary alliance permits them a bigger opportunity to fight for the champion’s rumble (But will this alliance last?). With only five slots remaining this season, more questions remain to be answered: Will we see any more Masters of the Universe competing for a shot into the champion’s rumble? Are there any big names in Mobius who can redeem the loss their colleagues faced? Will the line-up end with any more team bouts or five rumbles permitting one winner each? But the biggest question of them all:

One of my first movie memories was watching "The Warriors" with my dad and uncle! I definitely was not old enough for that, but i loved it.
About halfway through, I started getting invested in Robotnik. By the end, I was fully rooting him on. What a performance!

Obviously Dr Robotnic for MVP, maybe he should go through with Heman to the champions rumble , he deserves it more than Skelator. Also it would be great if in the penultimate episode you could pause the video once we find out the last contestant for the final and load up all the players for the final , un-pause the video and show us the loading screen with all the contestants for next week's final . Actually the Montreal screw job was about bret hart being told he was going to win in the script but in the end was given to heartbreak kid because bret hart was also getting heat from Stone Cold. And the fact that it made Bret an awesome heel was just great
Regarding the situation with Bret Hart and The Montreal Screwjob. From what I understand, Vince and Bret had a meeting where the former shared his plan for Bret to drop the title to Shawn Michaels. Bret was originally resistant to losing to Shawn but gradually, with chagrin, accepted it on one condition: He suggested Vince book it so that Bret won in Montreal and drop it to Shawn the next day on Raw, where it was scheduled in an America city, before departing for WCW because he didn't want to lose in Canada. Vince agreed but Bret sought confirmation that it would go according to plan from Shawn and even referee Earl Hebner. Unfortunately, we all know what happened: Shawn put Bret in the sharpshooter, Vince called for the bell to ring, and the rest is history.
Maybe consider a new Mortal Kombat Rumble? With the new game out, I bet you could easily find 30 fighters! Also, include Beast Wars and you should get enough transformers for a rumble.

I loved Bloodsport. Very little plot but so much action. Its one of those movies I'll watch every time I see it on television, no matter what part its at.
Did you know: The character that had his leg broken by Chong Li is the same actor that played Tong Po in Kickboxer.
Considering that a lot of these duos have actually teamed up, I don't think they're really all that unlikely. All it takes is a new threat that's bigger than both of them, and fictional heroes and villains will team up at the drop of a hat.

I wanted Skeletor to win this one. I still like the version from 2k22 with the "Skeletoes" (lol). I believe that sometimes an image of Hee-Man from the cartoon would match up with a trace of Arnold Mr. Olympia. Also, Hee-Man looks alot like Chevy Chase when he loses the wig.
Bret Hart had every reason and every right to refuse to lose to Shawn Michaels.
1. Bret had full creative control for, I believe, the last 30 days of his WWF contact. Which means he could choose who he would and wouldn't lose to.
2. After Bret dropped the belt to Shawn at Wrestlemania, Bret told Shawn that he was happy to do the job and would have no problem putting Shawn over any time. Shawn responded to this by telling Bret that he would never do a job for Bret. It was because of Shawn's disrespectful and unprofessional behavior that Bret refused to lose to Shawn in Montreal. That and Bret didn't want to lose in Canada.
Many people don't know it, but the original plan for Wrestlemania 13 was a rematch between Bret and Shawn. Then Shawn "lost his smile". He had a supposed career ending knee injury that he made a miraculous recovery from a couple of months later. Many believe Shawn pulled this to get out of losing to Bret at Wrestlemania 13. Shawn did nothing to endear himself to Bret.

I think I understand what's going on with tag teams not working together, so I'm typically a universe mode guy when playing this game, and in universe mode you can select people as allies, when you do that and save it gives you the option to save for just the universe mode, or the main game also. Once you do that, they work together I've never had an issue with it.
It isn't through tag teams.
I also noticed, for some reason you can't set it up via the normal games roster, the option for allies and enemies just doesn't exist. It's only in universe mode that option exists and you can make people friends and work together, I know it's tedious to do but I had to put it out there 🤣🤣.
