Hi Jeremy I just wanted to comment how much I enjoy your station. Your passion for guitars at all levels rivals my own and appreciate the knowledge you’re sharing. Your videos are entertaining too. I wish I can afford to buy the guitars yiu mention on each episode. I have a small quiver of Martins (OM 28 1999 Custom, 000-16GT 2004 & a backpacker which I love) and am looking for a Dreadnaught at some point. Doesn’t have to be a Martin. I have had the pleasure of playing a Bourgeois Country Man 00 and currently a D 18 Authentic both were on loan but having a blast. For the record I owned a 1994 J35 Gibson which I loved but had to sell a long time ago. Anyway, just wanted to reach out and hope more content is on the way🎶👍. Rock on 🤘
1750.00 for a Huss and Dalton. No matter what the model Is. I have never seen one for that low of a price. I’m a little envious I admit. I’d love to find one in that price range. The guy must not be aware of what he was selling.🤔
Yeah that seems cheap but you have to figure the stores would probably only offer him about 50% of what he paid. He probably tried and got more from this guy. In the right place at the right time i guess.
Brian at Guitar Works shut down his store front and only sells on the internet now. I did some electrical work at Brians house while he added an addition to his home. There were stacks and stacks of instruments in boxes throughout his home.
Sounds great. As a long time Dave fan, I would love to see more about Rockbridge guitars since they are kind of local to you. The video of Dave and Brian slapping each other is one of my all-time favorites.
I dont know if your recording setup was same as always but that has to be some of the richest tones I've ever heard from just normal strumming !!! Awesome, I've never heard of this brand. An absolute knock-out beautiful guitar, love the satin finish and the rosewood fingerboard and bridge... for me that's the ticket !! thanks for a very informative video Jeremy 👍
I had a very similar guitar the larrivee OM3R, it was incredible and I wish I never sold it....sometimes there are gems that just don’t cost a lot. The matte finish to me was a bonus because it seemed to allow more sound projection from the top, but that might be false. Either way it was a great recording guitar, just like that Huss and dalton. It really has a beautiful sound.
Not many H&Ds out here where acoustic Gibsons and Kopp guitars are made. Between H&D, Preston Thompson, and Santa Cruz, I'm not sure about to get. Maybe a Martin (those are big out here also).
Jeremy - what is the opening music to this video? It sounds incredible. I also love the type of music you play when you're demo-ing acoustic guitars. Have you recorded anything that's available? Great video.
Gotoh makes a drop-in open back tuner replacement, fwiw. Under $50 if I remember correctly. I got a set for my 92 Gibson Advanced Jumbo as the originals were a bit tatty after 28 years.
Anybody know what song that is he starts to play at 4:18 in the video he only strums a little bit of it it sounds familiar I’ve heard it before but I can’t place the name of it.
Good video, title is a bit misleading. This is more of a review of this purchase, and not really a how-to on using our location. You go into what one can expect to get in an area, but not really how to do it. Fantastic playing on a beautiful guitar though.
sounds amazing !!!! really nice tone ill have to look them up I live in Spotsylvania so not far at all ,im also gonna subcribe to your channel only fair your a Virginia boy
I believe these sell new for $2500 or maybe it was $2650. I had one and didn't love it. I do have a custom Huss OM with a Redwood top, Rosewood b/s and koa binding. It's a great guitar.
@@JeremySheppardI Was just kidding because of all the fuss about how much you bought and sold the D-28 for by some people. I guess sarcasm doesn't translate through text very well I been watching you since you had 600 subs bro. I know what you're about, and it's not ripping people off like some folks implied on the Martin video. Happy hunting bro!
That is less than 5 minutes man, you look like your in a hurry there too lol! You know what you did and do man! You got that H&D more than half the price too. No wonder your in a hurry. By all means his loss your gain and more.
@@paulboden7850 It is Poker's generosity not Jeremy's. If Jeremy had sold it for what he bought it for, it would be a whole different story. Since he wouldn't say what he sold it for, I would assume it was for $5000+ which is 1000 more than what Grandpa was asking in the first place. The only "winner" is Jeremy, since Poker won't profit, and the family will have to spend 1000+ more than what they sold it for.
@@bigmac51290 Poker isn't selling the guitar to grandpa. It's a gift, probably on condition they keep it in the family. I assume Jeremy made a little profit in the transaction. I'm ok with that.
@@paulboden7850 He said he would loan it to him until he passes, then let the family buy it for what he payed. Either way it's his generosity. And it wasn't a little profit, it was a chunk, especially after he low balled their already low asking price.
UNREAL..Does no one else see the issue of wearing a mask to pick up a dna ridden guitar and rub your fingers all over it?..Im not picking on you Jeremy But I am starting to realize this crap has gotten way outta hand..just watch Palosi for 30 seconds and the bull shit comes to light..AWESOME Guitar!

Beautiful guitar with a great sound. Very cool.

Interesting insights Jeremy, glad I found your channel.
I’m a sucker for the OM body style
Wow J - that guitar sounds really awesome. Full warm Woody - highs are reminiscent of an older Martin. I have a few. Could be a keeper! 😉
That’s a beautiful guitar, great score!!
I have a H&D D RH; I assume Dreadnaught Rosewood and the H, I have no idea! Any thoughts???
Herringbone. It's their take on a modern rosewood dread. I had a D RH Custom with large sound hole and red spruce

You ask if they would let you film a factory tour of Huss and Dalton.
Just filmed some there today!
Stunningly beautiful sound. I'm going to have to add this one to my short list of favorite guitars. Did you sell it or keep it, I wonder.
This one sold. They're pretty hard to find. There's a dreadnought road series for sale in northern virginia now.
That’s a great sounding guitar,
You lucky guy , if I could get one at that price I would jump at it. The workmanship is quality stuff like some other Luthiers 👍🏻👍🏻☮️🎸
Nice sound. Good response. Good buy!
Great vid Jeremy. I'd love a H&D to join my Martins and Taylors.

Looking for a used Martin guitar, $1500 what do you recommend ?
Really interesting insight. I doubt you’ll see one where you are but if you come across an Auden they’re well worth a look. 👍
