    Those mirrors you took off are option 719 upgrades and they sell for $720 USD. Ship ‘em my way and I’ll give you my actual stock mirrors!

    It looks so much more industrial and rugged to go along with the big adventure bike. Perfect. Thanks for sharing Stephan.

    tip: if you dont like the bright color of the mounting stud, you can use some metal blue to make them black.

    The originals look like they should be on a sports bike . But man the job to adjust them is a nightmare . The new ones are much better BUT I don’t like how easy they could be stolen . Appart from that there much better

    Hello Stephan.
    Very good mirrors and in my case zero vibrations at any speed! I just wished that the manufacturer(s) would paint the studs black! I ended up using a black "sharpie" on mines. Someone mentions getting parts in Germany! Probably better at this time, since who knows what's happening with Brexit and import/duty taxes! Cheers

    • @MOTOTravelUK
      @MOTOTravelUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Patrick, I have to get some black paint as well. Jus a bit of an odd look.
      Parts are OK here in Germany , but the prices are slightly higher.
      Of course there is non of the import duty to add to it.
      I do miss a good Fish and chips, hopefully I can make my way black soon.
      😉

    Glad to see you back at it again, question for you, as you are now in Germany, what are you doing for getting parts? Are you ordering from back in UK? Or have you found a good supplier in Germany?
    Thinking if you ordered from England how it would work with the Vat and import charges.
    Keep up the good work.

    • @MOTOTravelUK
      @MOTOTravelUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I'm here in Germany, I can buy from everywhere. Back in England is a different Story. I only buy for a Englisch retailer. It is not ideal but ordering from abroad is a gamble.
      Soon back in England 👍

      @@MOTOTravelUK But, when in Germany, if you buy from England, How is it working with the VAT and import charges?

    • @MOTOTravelUK
      @MOTOTravelUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't order from England at all. This is now out of question here in Germany. Tbh, there is no need. BMWw is German, and most of the other stuff is from outside UK anyway. Amazon is no problem at all, even for UK stuff. I ordered a Oxford charger no surcharges.

      There should be two different bolts with it. Check with the manufacturer.
