In the United States, I often hear public speakers and politicians in particular exhibiting a phonological processing error called final consonant devoicing; they don’t use voice on final consonants where it should be used. I wonder if that occurs in the UK? President Obama and President George W Bush devoiced their final consonants frequently. Love your work!

In 7M-English, 'Churches' is spelled 'Crciz' because the 'c' character represents the 'ch' sound always and 'r' is a vowel representing the sound we commonly use 'er' for but often intuitively shorten in words like "Gitr done" or "Nutr Butr". Yes, (R) is a vowel. You went to school = you were brainwashed.

The only difference I noticed as an American English speaker was that I sometimes pronounce moths with the z sound.
@@zarraenla /th/ is a voiceless consonant so you should say /s/ not /z/ with it. So, it’s moth/s/ not moth/z/.
@@V3VoVo When I pronounce the z sound I also voice the th sound. Kind of like the difference between wolf and wolves.

The plural of Knife, knives has between // /iz/ up. The same with loaves, lives, wolves, etc when it is only /z/ 7:51
