how do you figure out how many more beads to add for a larger bracelet?
***** This is a tricky question to answer because everyone has a different
braiding "tension" which affects the overall length. A basic guide is
that for this particular bracelet which uses 8/0 seed beads, every 3 - 4
seed beads you add to each strand, will increase the overall length by
about 1/2".
Can you tell me what the size of the bracelet is unfinished. 😌

Too bad Beadaholique no longer carries this kit; I think it's one of their loveliest kits.
I'm fairly new to beaded kumihimo. Could you please tell me how much of a difference it makes when using 6/0 on a bracelet that calls for 8/0? I'm just asking in general. I bought several size 6/0 before watching the videos but many videos I've seen are done with 8/0. I don't want to 6s to go unused but how would I adjust for the size difference?
Using larger beads will have a very significant impact on how the design looks. 6/0 beads are approximately 1mm larger than 8/0 beads, so the 1mm difference will add up. You can still use the same techniques for braiding, but you may end up using more cord. Just leave yourself enough thread/cord on your bobbins before you begin and you should be able to complete the project. Thanks for watching!

My kit with the purple seed beads & pip beads arrived today. I cannot fit my thread (from the kit) through the pip beads. I tried using a needle and the pip bead broke. Any suggestions how to thread these tiny-holed pip beads?
+Nancy Buchanan to Beadaholique: I put superglue on the ends and have been able to thread them now. However, in order to get your effect, does it matter which direction the pip beads are threaded?

We use Toho round 8/0s for these bracelets
What is the cord made of that you are using? A specific brand? Name of cord?
