I'm late to the concorde party but you have explained everything perfectly my man thanks. Great information about the INS too. I did not realise the onboard INS would suffice for version 2. I got the Philips INS and it destroyed my concorde and xplane 11. Major frame drops all over. Was lost till I found your video. 👍
Thank you so much, this will help me to treat this fast beauty carefully.
@pillowpilot Epic video thank you so much! However the link to the FSL routes info doesn't work. Is there a way we can get the INS co-ords for other routes such as JFK-LHR etc.?
Pillow Pilot, wonderful video! If I don't have this video as reference, is there a way I can use simbrief to generate Concorde specific routes, or do I need to get them from somewhere else?
There used to be a website online but it closed down making that very difficult, we have most of them in a channel on my discord that's where I get them but I think if you Google it hopefully they might shown up
This is pure gold. The Concorde has been sitting for too long on my hard drive. I found that the checklists are in the documentation don't go into enough detail. There are a great number of panels with considerable complexity and the checklists don't seem to reflect this. The manuals are beautifully designed, (maybe a bit 'loud') but superficial on the first read. I could be wrong :D Did you learn all this stuff using the documentation, or are you a Concorde enthusiast who just knows this stuff?
Thankyou very much, it means a lot to get an amazing comment like this. Yes I learnt mostly how to fly it from the checklists and watching concorde videos on real life and had been fortunate to meet some other amazing virtual Concorde pilots that shared the extra info I needed. 😁😊
I have version 2, and I cannot get the light on INS 1, 2, & 3 when I put the switch to align. I have completed the exact startup you have done, but still no lights (white lights flashing / green) any idea???
Thanks for the reply, the dc designs definitely doesnt compare to the colimata, i watched some videos of both and the colimata is miles better, i just wish they would make this for msfs2020

Yeah, here I go through finding them from SImbrief and routes 😊th-cam.com/video/hvjENpIwuQk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks very much for the nice demonstration
Thankyou, glad I could be of assistance 👍

Ahh yeah OK, I had this problem. I had my visual effects too low, if you turn them to high it should then work 👍
@@pillow-pilot That did it thanks!
Help! the Auto Stab switches and art feel switches come back to ff after I pressed them
This plane is very high fidelity, would you say that this is studylevel? And how does the colimata compare to the dc designs concorde?
Yes it is study level I think. I haven't tried the DC Designs so unfortunately can't say on that one
Thanks for the reply, the dc designs definitely doesnt compare to the colimata, i watched some videos of both and the colimata is miles better, i just wish they would make this for msfs2020
@@mukkuimamafbhm4193 I Agree
I noticed you did the crossbreed starts with the power at idle and the air conditioning on. Is that a unique ability of Concorde?
Seems to be so. Because it doesn't have an Apu we start 1 engine using the GPU then the others using the high pressure air from the other engines
@@pillow-pilot Im pretty sure in Real life the engine sequency start was Engine 3, 4, 2, 1. Inboards first then outboards.
for some reasons my lights dont work do you know why?
I think the visual settings may be too low, they need to be on high at the minimum
Well thats a boring aircraft. I hope I can get a refund
