How wide and deep are the wholes in the silicone. I'm find it hard to find a silicone tray that will hold a half cup of anything.

Got the molds yesterday. Yeh! Will they freeze that thick and heavy? When you put the coleslaw in the cups, did you drain the liquid off somewhat or did you add more after the cabbage was in the cup. Seems awfully thick and heavy. Guess this will be the same question for the Sloppy Joes.too,
I did not drain the sauce BUT YOU MUST keep each tray under 2.5 lbs for the medium. Don't be tempted to add more disks to the tray because there is plenty room!
I did focus on adding the cabbage then topping off with the sauce

Great video. I love Cole slaw. Use to work at a restaurant I've made a couple thousand pounds of it lol. So the only thing different is you added sugar water to it on top of the alternative mayo??
I can't say the "difference" because I haven't made a couple thousand pounds of coleslaw. I made a "freezer slaw" mixture and added the mayo alternative (by the way I followed my alternate mayo recipe to the T wink wink)

Why can't you just freeze dry it without dressing, then add it when reconstituted?
Absolutely you can, I choose not to. I may not have dressing available when SHTF
@@JohnInBibs also is the salty water soak necessary at the beginning? It leaches out so many vitamins!
I would encourage you to research "freezer slaw" there are lots of recipes out there, they all do the salt process one way or the other. You can try it without but I am pretty sure that the reason they all do it is because it helps preserve some crispyness after freezing
