Silentc0re Found a silver Turkoman using your trick. Really liked it so I headed for the stables. But when I tried to stable it, it said it was a gang horse. It sucks that I can’t stable it
The silver one you can buy in Tumbleweed at the end of the game. I really like the sheriff down there. If you haven't been there. I would go😊 It is in the southwestern corner of the map. Close to where you kill the legendary cougar.
The fox trotter spawned for me today but I wasn’t able to grab it without getting busted. Will definitely will be going back to this location to see what else pops up.
In the end, the horses in RDR2 are like fashion souls. You are going to ride the one you like the most visually. I have settled on thoroughbreds. Arabians are just to small! The character looks on them like he is riding a pony, lol.
The Tiger-striped Mustang ... A lot of people look at the stat list and see the Mustang is lower in all those stats and think, "Why the hell would I want that one, except for the appearance and/or just to say I have it?" Well ... Let's take a look at those other horses and some of the stats and traits that are not on that list. The Arabians... as most of you have owned at least one Arabian by now, you can all attest to an Arabian's more than average tendency to run into trees! "OMG ... ALLIGATOR!" You're flat on your back and your horse is bolting, leaving you to become a snack for a hungry gator. Let's also not forget the fact that Arthur looks like he's riding around on Jack's pony. The Turkomans ... Bad-ass indeed... and one of the only breeds not usually bolting because it heard a cricket fart. However, the Turkoman is notorious for being really impatient. You wanted to stop in the local saloon for a few drinks or to play some cards ... and ... for some reason or another ... you find yourself needing to make a quick exit. Surprise! You beautiful Turkoman was wandered off somewhere, literally because it got bored waiting for your happy-ass! The Fox Trotter ... the fastest top end horse in the game, with great health and endurance to boot... But, as RDR is famous for doing, sooner or later you will end up in a big gunfight. You dismount your beautiful horse and head into battle. At some point in the fight, you come to realize, "There are too many of them. I need to get the f*** outta here!" You head back to a horse that is no longer there. All that gunfire. Your horse was not about to stay around. In each of these cases, you are left running your ass off - trying desperately not to get it shot off - and whistling away like a demented canary! Now comes that Mustang ... try these FIVE TESTS with any other breed on that list ... Test 1: Go into the saloon and play poker, have a few drinks then get into a bar fight that ends up in the street. If your UNTIED horse is still there, mount up and head out for ... test 2: Get off the horse and toss a stick of dynamite about 20-30 feet away. The other horses are gone! The Mustang made a few objections to that loud bang, but he's still there standing beside you! Test 3: Take a trip into the snowy mountains and wander around for a pack of wolves. The mustang could care less. The Arabian is outta there. The Fox trotter isn't too far behind ... but .. the Turkoman is hanging in there at least. However... Although the Turkoman did well, the Mustang kicked the shit out of one of those wolves! Test 4: Head into the swamps and look for alligators. You want to find out if you end up as gator bait or not. Test 5: You going on a raid near the Blackwater border. As Arthur, you will definitely have a few problems. Get off your horse and walk over to get some cover... don't worry, the bounty hunters will be along soon. When you reach the point that you realize, "No way in hell I can survive this... I'm outta here!" Turn and bolt back to your horse. Let's see who bolts first... you or your horse. With the mustang, he'll be there when you get back. Of all the horses on that list, the Mustang was the only breed to pass all 5 tests. Knowing you have a horse (although others may be faster and with better stats) he or she is fast enough to get out of his own way and enough health and endurance to survive the trip - without stopping every 2-3 minutes for nebulizer treatments and adrenaline shots - AND ... NO MATER WHAT ... will still BE THERE when you may need him most... THAT - to me - is the best horse in the game.
@@silentYTs Thank you. I feel I really should do some sort of horse comparrision on the traits of horses that you do not see. I mean, everybody can see a list of the big 4 --- speed, accel, stam & health --- but most people do not realize that each breed has minor traits, as well... these 4 minor traits are: courage, obedience, loyalty & temperament. Arabians are "elite" handling horses. And they are, they handle better than any horse in the game... well... unless you try to push them too hard or they get even the tiniest bit spooked. This is why they seem to run into those fast moving trees all the time! I found that actually acquiring and testing all 19 breeds ended up showing some very interesting results. For instance: believe it or not, the silver and the champagne Fox trotter - although identical on the big 4 stats, are actually slightly different in the minor stats. For some reason or another bonding with the Champagne Fox trotter is easier and he is likely to stay with you longer, in bad situations... However, the silver one seems to scare a little less easily. But any MFT will spook far less frequently than the Arabian. Thoroughbreds ... great get up and get the hell out of there ability... just hope you don't have to go too far. Plus, if you know you're going to be in a big fight and you want your horse to be there - just in case you need to make a fast get away - make sure you don't leave him too close or he won't be there, if you need to make a hasty retreat. Appaloosas, Paints and Ardennes are not too bad either.. even though their big four are not great. Still the game severely disappoints me in 3 horse areas... 1. Tennessee walkers... they got the gate a bit off for that breed. 2. Morgans ... they made the Morgan the worst breed in the game. In reality, the Morgan is one of the most dependable horses ever known and, pound-for-pound the strongest, most versatile breed of horse on the planet! 3. My biggest pet-peeve... This is the wild west? Where the flock are the Quarter Horses? It is the cowboy's favorite breed of horse and there isn't a single Quarter Horse in the game? Believe it or not.. the tendencies the game has given to the Mustang is that of the Quarter Horse. It's the only war/race/work horse (tri-bred) in RDR2.
@@alleycat2759 I do like the mustangs and the Adrennes best. I only swapped from my war horse when I saw the grullo dun mustang, so pretty and always right there with me when I needed it. My Appaloosa is actually very loyal and reliable, too. Quarter horses were not recognized as a breed during the time period of the game which is why they're absent. I was hoping to get one at some point, too, before I learned that 😟
@@ablazedemon1149 honestly the best horse stat wise is the rose gray bay the best war or battle horse would be any of the mustangs including turkoman and the fastest one you can get would be the foxtrotter which is my favorite horse in game so it's your personal preference
A hidden gem is the brindle Thoroughbred that can be purchased from the stables in Stawberry. Not only is this a beautiful horse with a unique pattern, but this is also overall one of the best horses in the game.
I'm playing the game for the third time and at the moment my favorite horses are my Belgian Draft because it's stamina is amazing, and my white/grey brindle Thoroughbred because it's fast (and looks so cool). In my experience, the only breed of horse that has not bucked me when faced with wolves, bears or enemy gang members is the Nokota.
I dont care much for stats but I feel that the story is much more meaningful if you use either the Tennessee walker from sadie's ranch or the white arabian from the mountains, solely because you have to break in the Arabian and if you do it early the horse will stay with you the rest of the game and Arthur's "thank you" is that much more meaningful
I found a silver dapple foxtrotter on a trail in the 2nd chapter that was owned but no one was around it and since I only just had began the game I just thought I found a pretty horse until I saw its stats and I was like oh ok cool. I stuck with it the entire game with Arthur it was only later on in the game I found out how lucky I got. I'm now playing the game over again and I just cannot feel satisfied with any horse after that one. The spawning trick only works with Male horses and idk why I just like Arthur with a girl horse more it's just so adorable to me this brute ass outlaw cowboy and the way he talks to his lady horse like a baby lol and I just cant get over it lol plus the circumstances made it even more special because it was all random. I dont know if it's a rare random encounter but I have gone to the same area endlessly seeing if it will happen again and have had no luck *sigh*.
Lmao I know what you mean with the male horses 😂 I got a male foxtrotter, keep thinking in my head it's a girl before I gotta remind myself it isn't. If only there was a way to cheat or glitch the game to change the sex of horses
@@iKloudz right?! And my girl spooked more (idk if it was in my head or if they made it that accurate like in real life) but it didnt matter because it was like Arthur's baby more than if it was a boy it just seemed fitting, him with a female horse I'm not sure why. I think its the way he talks to it.
Got mine early with a glitch. Over by the groom corpse by the cliff, I had the “my horse up and died on me” lady but her horse wasn’t dead just badly hurt and a Missouri Foxtrotter. Decided what was more important very quick!
I got it this way, you find a lone rider, lasso him off his horse, he’ll turn to a red dot, ride away so the dot is off the radar but still showing the red light then ride back and about 50% of the time they spawn an above average horse
I purchased a Fox Trotter in chapter 6 the first time I played through. I *think* it was from the Strawberry stable. At the time, I didn't know how rare it was. Now, after playing through 2 more times and currently on my 4th game, I haven't seen the horse since except in epilogues.
The overlooked Reverse Dapple Roan Nokota has speed/acceleration of 7/5 (same as Trotter), lacks a bit in health and stamina at 3/3. Good handling, good looking, good horse.
@@MrDefyreality13 thats why i started a new save game i did everything like before but i only started the mission with Arthur and finished it after the mainstory
You have to bond to level 4. Then its not so bad. I'm from the state of Missouri. So I'm a big fan of the foxtrotter though😊 I changed the hairstyle and found out that it has pretty lite blue eyes.
I just keep calming it constantly. The biggest advantage of the Arabian is the ability to never run out of stamina. If you calm the horse while running. You can raise its stamina to full and run across the whole map without taking a break. Idk if this is a glitch or what. But it only works with Arabian horses. All of them I have tested. I am using my Fox trotter right now and it doesn't work. This is OP. But if you need to swim in deep water, and you don't have horse stimulate. Then take the arabian. If you're going in the swamp or in a fight. Take the Fox trotter. I own and like them both😊
I agree with Joe, Arabians get scared too easy by predictors. I have been bucked off an Arabian multiple times. Not good at all. The Foxtrotter is one I have yet to try. They do look beautiful.
Alright I know this comment is old as dog shit but I wanna let it be known that I had this exact horse (it died today) and I’ve had it since the beginning of the game (been playing off and on since December) & I was so pissed when it died but if it weren’t for this comment I wouldn’t have known to look in Strawberry for it. Thanks dude crisis averted
Anyone who has played this game enough knows that the "better temperament" of the race/war types are overblown. My fox trotters and turkmens would just as easily get skittish and buck me off just as my arabians would if you get too close to a predator. Now where this is a small advantage when it comes to durability. The big meaty clackers on the race/war horses come in handy IF your trash at handling and hit alot of trees. The rose grey Arabian is no doubt the best horse in the game especially if you know how to execute good skid turns, drifts and more importantly know when to accelerate/slow down properly. As far as top speed yes the fox trotter does technically have the best top speed but acceleration is more important and the arabians just feel faster. Arabians can also jump very high which comes in handy when going very fast through the woods with downed trees. Nothing more satisfying then leaping over fences and losing pesky bounty hunters. Overall the horse YOU are comfortable with matters most as every horse is viable when bonded to the max.
I noticed a marked increase in likelihood to run off when I swapped from my Shire to an Arabian. They spook a lot easier than even the Turkoman, my current main. It's very true to the breed in real life, they are fiery and skittish as hell. I dated a girl who had hel collarbone broken by A spooked Arabian, inside a barn. They run off on me in-game anywhere near a rattler or predator, even at lev 4 bonding. I have literally run down small gators with a Shire. Takes 3 passes. And that bold girl didn't buck me once, at level 1 bonding.
Don't forget the brindle thoroughbred. It has the same speed and acc stats as the fox trotter. Not as good overall but is at least joint fastest in the game. On my 2nd play through and I now have Fox trotter, turkoman and the tiger stripe mustang, all from the lasso glitch.
This is a great way to find good horses. I found white Arabian, Tiger-Striped bay mustang and the Missouri Fox Trotter. Thanks for this tip. (this is the second time I'm playing the game I didn't update the game this time)
I found this horse after beating the game and fell in love with it I’m on my second play through and I’ve been trying to remember what breed it was for days Finally found this video after digging through google Thank you
I’ve been using the Andalusian horse you can get at the stable near Valentine. All red, looks like War from Undead Nightmare. The game says they don’t have the best stats but I’m convinced the Andalusian horses are one of the best breeds in the game
Some of Dem Dere O'Driscoll Boys killed my foxtrotter, then killed me before I could revive him. From this day forth, I shall devote my life to hunting down O'Driscolls until they no long terrorize this free country.
I found me a mustang horse in the wild and tamed it. People past me by and admire my horse while greeting them. I had no problems with my horse in gun fights does not scare easily like other horses.
I thought I was the only one that loves this horse. I have had one for a very long time and my 8 year-old daughter also loves him. I have named him Huckleberry.
You can buy a Turkoman and a Missouri Fox Trotter in chapter 4. Turkoman is in the Saint Denis stable and the Fox Trotter is in the Scarlett Meadow Stables (south of Emerald Ranch) for 950 dollars a pop. I didn't count high honor reduction but yeah.
Thank you so much! I’ve been wanting a Missouri Fox Trotter since I replayed the story about 5 days ago. I know I’m about 3 years late but thanks anyway!
the reason most people use white arabian is because you can get it so early into the game. Im in chapter 2 and i dont exactly want to wait 90% of the story just for a slightly better horse.
I’m gonna tell a story if you don’t mind it was chapter 2 my fourth play through I saw the Missouri fox out side Valentine there was a lady right next to it I tied her up put her on the horse and drove over to the train tracks that are over the huge river I get off throw her over the rail try to go back to the fox trotter and (since i technically had not claimed it) it turned around super fast so it’s rump hit me sending me over the rail I spawned back and that’s how I lost the chance at a Missouri Fox Trotter during chapter 2
From my experience, bigger horses are great for hunting. The high angle makes it easy to headshot deer. But it’s also easier for other players to headshot you. Whenever I do bounty mission or long distance deliveries, I switch to my Arabian. Like I said this is from my experience, but people always miss headshots or hit my hat off whenever I’m on my Arabian. Small horses are great for ducking and weaving around trees, boulders and brushes. It throws off their auto-lock. With a bigger horse, if you duck and weave your head is still pretty wide open, just saying.
I found this horse on the road south of Bacchus station, the girl who needs a lift to Emerald because her horse "up and died" is walking away but the horse was alive and well, have seen this twice now, a great horse and of course I called it "biscuit"
Another thing to add is : - Missouri Fox Trotter : Standard - Reverse Dapple Roan Nokota : Race - Brindle Thoroughbred : Race On my part with the end game saddle, stamina isn't much a determinant point in choosing your horse. So if you want a fast and tankier, the Missouri is the horse ou want, but The Nokota and Brindle got better handling. It is all about preference.
But the best horse is the Tiger-striped Mustang. Read my comment about that on one of the other posts, for the reason why. Lets just say... if you need to get the F*** outta there really fast... no matter what, I KNOW the Mustang will be there. I can't say the same for any other breed. You could have the fastest horse in the game; but you're not going anywhere faster than your feet can carry you, if your horse got spooked or wandered off, because you forgot to tie him up.
I was just about to ask, what about the Nokota, i think they are fast ans good handling, and mine is the gray with black legs and black head, I find is so good looking
By far the best horse. So nice to not have a horse see its shadow and run away. I moved from a Rose Arabian too this as I was sick of getting bucked off or the horse freaking out when I got ambushed.
Fastest horse in rdr2 is the grey Arabian it's a 10 on all attributes in the game. The Missouri fox trotter is much more calm along with being fast though
I don't think the random spawn at Saint Denis works any more. I've tried it several dozen times in the last few months and gotten nothing but Trotters, Saddlers and Morgans.
I was recently robbing a train. (bandit challenge) The train stopped, I was surrounded by lawman. I went to the lead cart and sped the train down the tracks. Bounty hunters & lawmen were riding next to the train & about to kill me. I whistled to my splashed white paint horse but instead a dapple foxtrotter came running up next to the train. I jumped on and rode away to safety. Been riding it ever since. Still kept my American paint horse too! Finally Arthur & a dapple foxtrotter !
I got ultimate edition thoroughbred ,black arabian and missouri fox.Missouri fox looks nice but black arabian is better, but it depends what you like.I had gray rose one but messed up save and looking to get again.I got dutch warmblood 4 level bond but need to sell to get room for another one
Besim Selimovic lol that Ultimate Edition Horse is not available in Story Mode but available in Online Mode. You're probably talking about the Special Edition one, the Dappled Black Thoroughbred, unless you really have that Ultimate Edition Horse in Online and the rest you said.
I’m just going to wait to get the Missouri Foxtrotter when I play as John. I don’t want to get it, and then have it get killed lol Edit: I’m at 93% completion, playing as marston, and getting this horse was my top priority as soon as I got access to the map. This video stuck with me and I remembered what you said about the Missouri Foxtrotter and man this horse is great!! I’m still rocking it. I was tempted by the black Arabian, but your words prevailed and I couldn’t be more happy. Thanks a ton man, love your channel!!
You can always purchase the Missouri Foxtrotter with the Amber Champagne coat in Chapter 4. Then switch to the Silver Dappo Pinto in the 1st Epilogue. I'm playing through it a second and third time and I just purchased the Amber in Chapter 4 from the Scarlett Meadows Stable.
Thats why i never sell alot of valuables as arthur and get the 3 gold bars on the train that crashed as john on every playthrough so i can buy the mft right away its literally so good the only downside is that it runs away in gunfights but its a race horse overrall its very good
Me: There's a whole 70+ hours of story before the epilogue, right? R*: Yup. Me: And the best horse is the Missouri Foxtrotter. R*: Yup. Met a nice old lady who jump off horse and gave it to me, bless her. Such the kind thing for her to do. Told me horse name biscuits. Horse was so hungry ate all my ginsing and oatycakes when last time this lady feed him?? I try to give her a ride to some place but wolves attacked. Unfortunately she not the very good sprinter such a shame. Took beautiful new horse to Valentine stables and gave the spa day. Was so happy then. John Wayne be proud to ride this horse like El Dorado! Its beautiful horse receive the lots of compliments now doing ride by!
Tried all day and half the night trying to get the Fox following ALL videos. But it looks like after the 6GB update 4 days ago they turned this glitch off! Thanks for the video though! Wish it still worked!
@@Talzum oh yes special edition I didn't know which off the top of my head so I guessed but that horse is a pretty good horse my first playthrouugh that's the horse,I used up until the end then as john I used the tiger stripes mustang and the dark bay turkoman, both great horses.
you can go back to the stable and get the dapple black back after chapter 6, in case you wern't aware. i love that horse. way more than the arabians/turks
This only works in version one though i had to delete game and install it again just for the horse that place is blessed i got black arabian ,turkoman and fox trotter from there ..thanks alot man
adiaz2469 when you delete the game, the game is gone but the data will still be there but it wont load cuz then you will have version 1 so you need to update it... so yes you will have to start the game all over again in new data, once i got all the horses and gold from gold glitch i updated it again to latest version and was able to load the old data ... if you are planning to go through it keep your internet off until you find the horses cuz if it updates automatically then all your effort would be for nothing.
Def my favorite horse overall. I accidentally bought the 70 dollar version of the game from the PS store, so this horse was already in the stable when i went the first time.
I own a real life Missouri fox trotter they are amazing horses but in rdr2 do they have the gates like a irl mft? Like do they have the fox trot in the game?
Amazingly (or maybe not considering all the other realistic content in -game) yes. I immediately noticed while on missions with other riders where I was matching pace behind them that I was always still in a trot when the rest of the gang's horses would have needed to switch to a different gait. Crazy detail in this game.
I bought the Missouri Fox Trotter in chapter 4 as Arthur near Rhodes stable. You can also get it there but I’m not sure if it’s just because I got lucky,
I'm currently using the black Arabian, and I have all of the Arabians except the rose gray bay and the red chestnut. When I saw this video, I was mind blown, I'm looking for THIS now!!!
I found it too, was randomly jumped by 6 O Driscolls just outside of camp, once I'd killed all 6 and looted the bodys the horse was just stood there...calmed it a few times then got on it now use over my pre order war horse
Any horse other than an Arabian is a downgrade. It’s amazing how one person does a video on the subject that certain horse types are better due to hidden stats and everyone excepts this as fact without testing. Don’t believe the hype, there’s a reason Arabians cost the most. Not only do they have the best all round stats, they also have double the handling. Elite handling is 8 while standard is 4. As for bravery I’ve done videos comparing these horses against predators and in gun fights and the Arabians won all of the tests. I think the devs should actually patch the war horses to be braver as they were very disappointing as they didn’t out perform the Arabians: Also in the shooting tests without running or using horse stimulants, again the base white Arabian beat the Turk as it lasted until a $500 bounty no problems, yet the Turk got dropped. Despite having 2 extra stamina over the white Arabian it’s so much larger it gets shot way more often because of it! So the Grey Arabian with 8 handling, 7 health, 7 stamina, 6 speed, 6 acceleration... And did better in bravery tests, it is a landslide victory to the Grey. White Arabian is close but still on the whole superior too. The only reason to have something else is because you prefer the bigger horse look, or to experience the 1 higher top speed of a Fox trotter. Don’t get me wrong, use whatever you like, but when asked what’s the best horse overall, it’s not even close. The Grey Arabian level 2 bonding is the same as level 4 white, and it seems to be braver too.
Homer Simpson test it you muppet. Or watch my video proving it’s not. It’s supposed to be but it’s not. You’re just a sheep that sees something online and excepts it as fact, then when someone provides evidence against it you get pissed and go straight to insults. You sir are a complete melt!
Homer Simpson you must be shite at the game then. Simple as that. I have a video testing level 1 bonding white, Grey Arabians and level 1 Turk. I tested a Fox trotter too but it was too long for the video. In all tests the Arabians won. Not biased, recorded and tested footage. I don’t base my opinions on what other people say, I base it on fact. So continue being a stupid fucktard sheep. There’s a reason why Arabians are the most expensive horse in the game.
@@lynchio6719 Even though he's a dick for calling you retarded that Homer Simpson dude is right, even the Red Dead 2 guide books says that while the Arabian horses have amazing stats they're extremely skittish and they'll buck you off if you're remotely close to predators. Now this MAY not be the case for you, because if you've bonded with your horse they're less likely to buck you off but the one thing I will say is yes the Arabians are good but they're made of glass, I got robbed, chased after said robbers and they gunned poor Biscuit down within two of three shots (RIP 2018-2018) so that's why a lot of people are probably going for the Missouri Fox Trotter or Buell, because they don't want to run the risk of having to put down a horse they just spent over a grand on because it took a bad fall. But you're right in the fact that it's totally down to whatever you want to ride, I personally stuck with Buell the moment I got him and he's been my main horse ever since, but, in my honest opinion Arabians are good for getting to places fast, but horrible for anything else.

Great comparison
I was hoping to get one at some point, too, before I learned that 😟
Alleycat 27 Hey man, I just finished the game and got the $20,000. What horse would you recommend I get?
I might just try the Nokota. However, my Mustang, Thomas Shelby, has rarely ever bucked me. [x]
Or the Dutch warmblood you can but from the hosea bear hunt mission
You had to make me cry again damnit
The “fastest horse” looks like a McFlurry
I’m literally eating him
It IS the fastest horse
O3O me?
Yeah I don’t like it very much. I’m sticking with my tiger striped bay mustang megatron
It’s not the fastest horse. It’s the best but not the fastest because the new collecter
Me too. I found it the same way.
@@olilovesflic where did you find yours?
Stufful fluffle on the road out of Valentine
Got mine early with a glitch. Over by the groom corpse by the cliff, I had the “my horse up and died on me” lady but her horse wasn’t dead just badly hurt and a Missouri Foxtrotter. Decided what was more important very quick!
do u remember where u saw the lady? i’m tryna get this horse
TheCocoaCow northeast of Valentine, she generates randomly
But what about buell😥
I use Buell
Just don't get buell before the epilogue or he will die
@@buffoonustroglodytus4688 My brother just killed my fucking Buell
Buell best horse
Love buell I have him in my stables don’t want nothing happening to that prized position. I just use my rose grey Arabian or fox trotter instead.
I got it this way, you find a lone rider, lasso him off his horse, he’ll turn to a red dot, ride away so the dot is off the radar but still showing the red light then ride back and about 50% of the time they spawn an above average horse
My morgan didnt buck me off as we was getting chased by a bear and then I accidentally ran off a cliff R.I.P ranger 😔
Morgans suck lol
I like the Standardbred. Because it’s the only all black horse in the game.
Try the raven black shire
I had an all black arabian.
@@matthewalberts9934 its not all black has white patches on it head
@@cashkearns no mine was all black. I'll upload a photo when I get home.
Yeah I got the standard at the start of the game.. been meaning to go for the white Arabian but want the fox trotter or fastest horse now...
Horse is an EXCELLENT choice & damn good 👍🏻 breed. Fast lil feller.
Since i got to Blackwater in the epilog im always switching between the Foxtrotter and Buell both are my favorite
i had Buell in chapter 6 :( i miss him, he was a great horse.
@@MrDefyreality13 thats why i started a new save game i did everything like before but i only started the mission with Arthur and finished it after the mainstory
I've been doing this for 3 hours and keep getting Morgans, Kentucky Saddlers, and Tennessee Walkers
They patched this with the latest update.
Yep me too...sucks
Oof
Yup, shite isn’t it .....
@Diamond Beau just play the storyline and unlock it at blackwater... until there catch the white arabian
But the rose gray Arabian is the best overall to have (stat wise) although you can own multiple horses so you can get both and bond with them.
Arabians scare bad no bueno
You have to bond to level 4. Then its not so bad.
I'm from the state of Missouri. So I'm a big fan of the foxtrotter though😊
I changed the hairstyle and found out that it has pretty lite blue eyes.
Fox and turk are better imo dam Arabian even at lvl4 kept throwing me off around gators lol
Not the only horse with 7 speed, the brindle thoroughbred has the same stats, can be bought at the strawberry stable, and is not as expensive only $450
Alright I know this comment is old as dog shit but I wanna let it be known that I had this exact horse (it died today) and I’ve had it since the beginning of the game (been playing off and on since December) & I was so pissed when it died but if it weren’t for this comment I wouldn’t have known to look in Strawberry for it. Thanks dude crisis averted
White Arabian:
Free
Great speed
Skittish 😢❄️
Missouri:
Best speed
Much braver 💪🐴🦄
Arabians feel faster for shorter distances. Fox Trotter definitely feels faster on long rides [x]
After around chapter 3/4 go to the stable north of Rhodes near dewberry creek you will be able to purchase the red fox trotter there.
I got the mustang named him Arthur, the fox I named him Lenny.
NIGGAAA
Lenny mah boah! Dammit Lenny stop slopping off on me!
Got one in the first 5 min of trying... THANK YOU. Took it brazenly, Paid the $5 bounty- well worth it!

This is a great way to find good horses. I found white Arabian, Tiger-Striped bay mustang and the Missouri Fox Trotter. Thanks for this tip. (this is the second time I'm playing the game I didn't update the game this time)
I found this horse after beating the game and fell in love with it
I’m on my second play through and I’ve been trying to remember what breed it was for days
Finally found this video after digging through google
Thank you
I’ve been using the Andalusian horse you can get at the stable near Valentine. All red, looks like War from Undead Nightmare. The game says they don’t have the best stats but I’m convinced the Andalusian horses are one of the best breeds in the game
What
Some of Dem Dere O'Driscoll Boys killed my foxtrotter, then killed me before I could revive him.
Micah: See, cowpoke. You're jealous?
Arthur: Shut up, fool. Just because your horse is fast doesn't mean it strong.
Micah: Funny.
the reason most people use white arabian is because you can get it so early into the game. Im in chapter 2 and i dont exactly want to wait 90% of the story just for a slightly better horse.
Heads up spawn was patched

@@mrallworld i found it near st denis towards rhodes. Cant revive it though.
The amber champagne missouri fox trotter can be found in the Scarlett Meadows stables once you start chapter 4.
Thank you! I only started chapter 4 & I don’t know how long it will take me to get to the epilogue as I take the main story missions pretty slow.
Getting heads hot doesn't do anything my guy... it takes like 20 shots for arthur or john to die
I found this horse on the road south of Bacchus station, the girl who needs a lift to Emerald because her horse "up and died" is walking away but the horse was alive and well, have seen this twice now, a great horse and of course I called it "biscuit"
The fastest horses are:
- *Missouri Fox Trotter* (7 spd, 5 acc, 6 sta, 5 hp)
- *Reverse Dapple Roan Nokota* (7 spd, 5 acc, 3 sta, 3 hp)
- *Brindle Thoroughbred* (7 spd, 5 acc, 3 sta, 3 hp)
Another thing to add is :
- Missouri Fox Trotter : Standard
- Reverse Dapple Roan Nokota : Race
- Brindle Thoroughbred : Race
On my part with the end game saddle, stamina isn't much a determinant point in choosing your horse.
I am after 2 years 😂😂Nice👍❤️❤️
So if u don't want to wait till end game to buy this hors go buy the amber one from the stables near emerald ranch because it has the same stats
In my opinion:
Best courage = Turkoman
Best handling = Arabian
Best ride overall = Missouri Foxtrotter
Good summary!
There is a Brindle Thoroughbred in the game as well..worth having for sure.
Rich Bell that was the first horse I got from the Saint Denis spawn location. Good horse
Josh Rolfe I honestly care about courage the most im tired of getting bucked off
best courage is hungarian halfbred they spook for nothing
I was recently robbing a train. (bandit challenge) The train stopped, I was surrounded by lawman. I went to the lead cart and sped the train down the tracks. Bounty hunters & lawmen were riding next to the train & about to kill me. I whistled to my splashed white paint horse but instead a dapple foxtrotter came running up next to the train. I jumped on and rode away to safety. Been riding it ever since. Still kept my American paint horse too! Finally Arthur & a dapple foxtrotter !

I named my white arabian supremacy
I was so confused until I realized you meant "gaites"
I use the Ardennes, it’s great while fighting, and very strong. Overall it’s my favorite.

Chris Lynch I own both horses fuckface 😂😂 I have never seen ANYONE say that the Arabian isn’t skittish. You are the definition of confirmation bias.
Beowulf nope
I saw you love my comment and I am happy about that thanks and let’s take action before it takes a full effect
Top speed doesn't mean always fastest horse lol
Besim Selimovic it does mean fastest. It just doesn’t mean quickest.
Fit that bad boi with a mohawk to get all the aerodynamics🤣
My nigga thats exactly what it means
Not necessarily, because it’s acceleration isn’t as high, the rose grey Arabian is the overall fastest horse
The Brindle Thoroughbred I got for free in single player...Absolutely worth having in ur Stable.
the arabians are so tiny😂 looks like ponies compared to the other breeds😂
Tysm for telling us when they are here BC I was so sad
