anyone else finish the game and when u go to new austin it’s boring? i’ve ran across new austin and haven’t even found an interaction or anything on the map, is there even stuff there? cuz i finished the story but i’m still finding new interactions up north but nothing is in new austin
Yea it sucks i fall asleep playing in that area
a little but not really... small town that's sick with the plague, some del lobos you can kill and a random ranch on the north side, but apart from that it seems empty and useless.
Maybe the have plans for it in upcoming updates
Well, I guess this game is going get bigger when the online comes out + is going to very fun because you can rob banks with your friends or random people, and more stuff of course. But yea they are going to update the game a lot of times just like in GTA V.

I also crouched across the map in Fortnite, that took me 18 minutes. the map in Fortnite is very tiny. One of the smallest I have ever walked across.
So RDR 2 map is bigger than Minecraft ok.
Ahmad Syazwan: It's bigger than the map in the Xbox and PS version of Minecraft. But way smaller than the PC version of Minecraft because that one is infinite.
Its actually missing a few things. For example, there's a grave in the saint denise cemetary that has 6 gold bars in it and it's not listed on this map.

I wanted to take my time doing main missions because i wanted to experience the game to the fullest.
The fact that the map is fogged out at the bottom and doesn’t have an outline leads me to believe that they might add to it some how

There a lot of games with interactive maps, all the GTA, all the saints row, every Ark Survival map. They are so useful.

PUNANI_SLAYER420 who ever said it took 60 hrs to beat was full of it. I played 2-12 on Friday then about 12-12 on Saturday 12-5 on Sunday and finished chapter 6 then beat the epilogue on Monday.

I loved the game, but was a little disappointed with New Austin, as it was boring and they took out my favorite hunting spot, and no Mexico. (I know that would contradict John's story) I was also kinda surprised that boats weren't more interactive. It would've been fun to break into boats or hijack them.
This should be an option in game to turn this on or off. Going back and fourth between screen becomes tedious

Am I really the only one who just collects the cards from the premium cigarettes packs around the world? I mean I know it’s more time consuming but it’s way less work as you just pick up a bunch throughout the game already
Saves you plenty of time at the start and if you have the money, and it's advisable to do it that way but at the end, you're more than likely going to keep getting duplicates so you have to get the remaining cards by land

Christopher Granger just bought cigarette packs in store and eventually got all the cards without ever leaving the shop in Saint denis

If u have a fishing pol, stand as faraway from water as posabul, catch a fish, relics it, the fish don't mack it back in the wattet, n your frends can pick up the fish

So its been a month or so, and I am honestly really suprised I haven't seen more hardcore explorers/map creatures (such as myself) discussing how at least 50% OF the entire world in RDR2 is inaccessible eye candy. Still a Magnificent game, and not even really a complaint, merely something I noticed in my travels. It does bug me a bit, but they more than make up for it with what you CAN delve into so, forgiven. Again; RockStar can do no wrong. This game is Gold. (I just wish Arthur had more than a dying 88yr old lady's ability to hike steep inclines :P)

its amazing all the comments asking how he playing on pc #1 hes using 2 monitors one for computer and one connected to console or #2 he plays on PS4 and is using a remote play app(i use this so i can watch tv while playing). There are tons of vids out there to show you how.

You can get a better map by downloading this map in the in the playstore (same thing as the website) Just type in "RDR2 map" its the same thing, And yes it has EVERYTHING, dino bones, animals, items, weapons easter eggs...etc its the best app for the game. On the app just sign in your tagname and pass and it shows what you completed and need to complete. I use it cuz im lazy lol but good luck with cig cards!! Just thought id mention it. (Dont need to go on a site) maybe he didnt know you can download the app. But just do that and your set. The website comes in handy also, if you dont wanna do it on your phone, tablet..wever. Good luck!
Does this app let you use the online map while you play so you can see who is around you by just looking at you phone or tablet instead of having to stop in mid-game play to check the map?

I thought there'd be more stuff to do when you unlock the bottom half than what was there.
I would love for them to add new parts to the map but looking at gtaV there probably not going to add any story dlc or new areas.
I also used this map site for The Witcher 3
they forgot a stable in stumblweed and it has the best horses btw it has 6 horses you can buy
