I visited the Škoda museum today... And I was really impressed... The most I was impressed by this car... I took a short video of this car that is being exposed in the deposit in the rear part of Škoda museum... I have never seen such a beautyfull design... But I read that the engine was only 1.0 liter 4 cylinder approx. 75 PS... This concept car really deserves the 2.0 T or V6 or V8 engine... I didn´t even know that Josef Kabaň designed this car... But he deserves the golden or even platinum medal for designing this beautiful car... What I know is that he designed Octavia III my father has got... In candy white with 1.4 TSI, great car too... Today my favourite series car is Octavia IV with 1.5 TSI in Lava blue metallic color on 18" Perseus wheels. I bought a model of this one in the museum today Škoda brand... But I have a few Abrex Škoda models, Fabia R5 Ferat Rally Bohemia and Fabia WRC 2006 Rally Catalunya - both driven and raced by Jan Kopecký... Right from the Škoda city Mladá Boleslav, Petr . the ex-Škoda worker,Czech, Europe...
To Riles07: yes that's sort of right. VW bought struggling Spanish company Seat and Czech company Skoda a while back now. They have done a great job in upscaling these brands and improve their reliability and their built quality by sharing platforms and components. Seat is the sporty cheaper alternative, Skoda the more affordable quality car (there top a lot of surveys in Europe). One of my cars is a Skoda Superb 2.8 V6, the body is a slightly stretch version of a VW Passat with the engine and gear box of an Audi. Really good stuff. Hope this helps.
The only reason this car can't get in production in the current form is that it will kill Audi A4 sales, and VW don't want to create competition between own group products. Sadly Skoda is seen as the budget brand and is set at the bottom of the group.
оригинальная тачка, хорошо если задний свес удлинят, чтобы багажное пространство увеличить и сделали бы большую панорамную лобовуху. вообще купе классное получилось.
Look very closely at the lines of this Vision C, it's an BMW, bonnet, side especially at the back and if you drag the line from the batch to the front bumper you will se that even the front grill transforms into BMW's logo
Well I heard that Josef kabaň, the car designer is returning (getting back) to Škoda Auto company from BMW and Bentley I think... Is that true? Joska, je to pravda že se vracíš zpátky do Škodovky??? Dík, Petr
Gorgeous car! But last Škoda coupé from the 70s years (Škoda 110R) is also very nice :) commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Skoda_110R_in_central_Germany.jpg
VW's current 1.4 TSI has 140 hp. It's sufficient for a car like this. The Golf mk7 wagon has a 0-62 time of about 9 seconds with this engine. He said this is between the Octavia and Superb. Smallest petrol engine in the Octavia is the 1.2 TSI with 105 hp and the 1.4 with 125 hp in thr Superb.
fesch03 Good to notice, that in 80" the BMW had 1.5 liter Turbo with 1200 hp, 800 hp stock. And now You can software chip vRS Octavia to to 340 hp, without single mechanical part change. So who really cares?
Actually that VW's 1.4 L TSI engine is quite strong. It packs from 90 - 105 kW depending on spec and 200 N. m of torque available from 1500 rpm. We have few of these in our company and they're running after 100k km (cca 62k miles) just fine. I don't think they'll reach the same level of durability as the old 1.9 L TDI engines which could do half a million kilometers without bigger problems (turbos usually died at about 300k km though), but nevertheless they look good so far and only future will show :) They're not for racing, but overtaking is fast and safe and you can do 200 km/h on a highway (which is cca 125 mp/h). But they are thirsty as hell at those speeds.
i know about the power of TSI engines, but i'm afraid of lifetime of this small engine boosted with turbo.. especially when installed in bigger and heavier car.. i bet this engine will not lasts long if you like acceleration and pushing the gas :) my friend had a 1.6 HDI engine - a small turbo diesel engine in C5 which is also a big car, and the engine lost compression and couldnt startup after 3 years.. too much load for that small engine... PS: 1.4 TSI is good for fabia, polo or lupo... for octavia should start from 1.8 or 2.0, superb at least 2.0... for smooth operation... and as you mentioned 1.4's are thirsty at 200 km/h, thats because you need to go on full throttle, while on 2.0 TSI you need to push gas pedal on 1/4 which results in lower fuel consumption at higher speeds and they are not so stressed than smaller engines
A7-3series-ish. Headlights Seat? Hope VW does now go that route... but then what do you expect from a designer wearing the most horrible shoes in history...
Absolutely love this car, it looks phenomenal. Great work from Skoda.
Really good looking. Simple and "sporty" design. The interior is really good looking.
Nice job Skoda.
+Foriol is that Superb Vision C?
great looking car! gorgeous!
Glorious Czech master race
I think it looks really sharp, particularly from the rear. Skoda are gradually putting good faces on their reliability. People will start to notice
Best concept I've seen in last decade. Hope the design will transform into the next Superb.
Wow. I love it.
Like it! One Of The best looking cars Of the show. Up with Maserati and Volvo
Superb video glad to see skoda coming through

Lovely to see skoda getting its own personality, instead of taking design from, Audi, BMW, opel example.
wow looks great
great looking!
I really like it !!!
Nice to see, that soft girly design is changing to sharp maskuline design !
The Czech accent is just crazy .. love it
Damn Skoda is getting prettier!
BADASS DESIGN!!!

Superb design, brilliant colour...now if only it could be electric!
Damn, this is not bad! Really good looking actually.
Loki did a really good job at designing the car
The only reason this car can't get in production in the current form is that it will kill Audi A4 sales, and VW don't want to create competition between own group products. Sadly Skoda is seen as the budget brand and is set at the bottom of the group.
i love this car when can i buy it? and when will it be out available
I dig everything about it.
Wunderschön Cars
Apart from the Crystal glass features I really love this. I think tiny little pieces of the crystal work would be better.
Nice car
nice, what about engine and perfomance?
One the best car
color make the lights pop out!
Does it reminds BWM cars outside except headlights?
THE BEST FROM CZECH REPUBLIC!
look at the English captions at 4:44

If the Czechs ever make cars as gorgeous as they "make" their women everyone else will be in trouble.
Models!
How much is the car ?

這台外形設計的太好了
this it will be my next car, with the new wolkswaggen motor with 240 cv
Der Nächste....Lächeln....

i don't like wedgy design but this looks good
у меня 19 сантиметров! :D
Loki is making cars now
Dem captions doe....
Looks like MB CLA :)
why is he talking about all the cool details when they will never make them?
Finger print scanner in a (barely) restyled Golf mk IV? Hahahhaha
If you think that looks like a Golf you need an urgent eye examination.
No exhaust? This is not car for me...
Gorgeous car! But last Škoda coupé from the 70s years (Škoda 110R) is also very nice :)
commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Skoda_110R_in_central_Germany.jpg
I would say it is even nicer than Vision C concept. The best looking Skoda in the last 40 years in my opinion.
Loki designed a car?
Looks awesome but serious a 1.4 in that car. 0 - 62 in 18 seconds or something

Tak si zapchaj uši ....

Looks like BMW!! hahhaha

putting 1.4L engine in big car.. seriously?

BMW front grid mercedes headlights and hood and nissan trunk and ream bumper ...
audi stop lights ..
I think VW will never accept SKODA cars looking more cool then VW cars so this concept will be restyled to something more boring and blah
A7-3series-ish. Headlights Seat? Hope VW does now go that route... but then what do you expect from a designer wearing the most horrible shoes in history...
Why so emo?
Masakr
It looks like an M3.
People find this good looking? Really? Looks like it was done by an amateur
Actually designer of this SKODA is J. Kaban, same men which made a design of Bugati Veyron :)
Never liked the Veyron, either.
Grill looks like a moustache...
Jeremy did it first though, the mighty Hammerhead eagle i-thrust, the first car with a mustache.
A BMW boned a Hyundai to produce this mutant. Someone is color blind to select that color
Ugly concept
tie svetla su škarede som zvedavy jak by si autoumyvarka poradila s tymy škarami pod nimi
skoda kinda weird for me !!!
it looks so ugly, like any other skoda, except maybe octavia
Have you had your eyes tested lately?
looks boring for a concept
looks like a ugly version of Audi a7 wrrrr
Ughh, that was ugly. Also the color for such a concept was really bad. Please, fire the chief designer.
