College during Covid was honestly such a trip. Also would like to mention that:
1) TAKE EVERYTHING I SAY HERE WITH A GRAIN OF SALT
2) What I'm saying in the vid won't be applicable to everyone, since obv it's just my own experience and where you go to for school/what courses you take/what professors you have will definitely impact whether or not you relate to some of what i'm talking about
Thank God I didn't experience college during covid.. I was in my last year of highschool and it was depressing 😭 I just wanted to graduate asap
the hating school/college when ur there but kind of missing it after leaving is so real . but i never got an diploma at all bc my school did graduation online (covid) and just never gave us them and we never questioned it …. oopsy 😃

I totally agree with Ant on the works cited/references. I'm unsure if those professors have time to check them. It's great to see different perspectives from Ant. Ant should be able to survive without a college degree. A college degree nowadays is worthless. It's ridiculous how an entry-level job requires 2+ years of experience with a college degree but pays so little.
The works cited thing definitely depends on what class/subject you're submitting it for, but in my experience the profs I had never seemed to actually check the references unless something seemed really off in the essay itself 😂As for a degree, I don't think it's entirely useless but a big part of the "value" is definitely the networking you gain as well as the connections your university can offer you while you're there, not necessarily the degree itself if that makes sense
the citations thing is soooo real, i cited random works from the 1960s to 2000s cuz i made something up and theres just no way theyre gonna read through all those scuffed scans LMAO

I have no idea what kind of professors Ant had but I know mine DO ABSOLUTELY CARE ABOUT CITATIONS AND WILL FAIL YOUR PAPERS OVER IT like they don’t mess around 😭
Ya not every prof will turn a blind eye, but in my experience I was more so referring to them actually going to the links you put in the works cited and specifically checking the sources you used themselves. Everyone should definitely still make sure sure their citations are properly formatted and referenced to when necessary 😅

i graduated but i agree with ant. I studied real hard on college because I chose a "challenging" course, but I do believe that ant is earning twice or thrice my current salary right now. I got promoted but the increase is blsht compared to the added responsibilities and required skills. I wish I just dropped out from college and pursue vlogging/streaming. I absolutely regretted it. But I cannot pursue my dream now becuase I already have a baby who depends on me, so I cannot just take any risk.
