Another build for Tifa‘s feather style is the debuffer route. With her leather gloves, tiger claw, and her debuff limit break, she can basically cover all debuff. Throw in lifeguard straps and you can have her healing as well.
This is me exactly. With the introduction of Bio as well and its handiness for doing that turks crash event, I feel like this is a long term investment especially once we get more weapons that have that buff extension

Debuff/buff duration only increases duration of Buffs/Debuffs that have a Low>Mid>High Potency. Poison is like Regen or Haste and that they can’t get extended duration at this time

I have a (frankly) mid fire build on Zack from the limit break banner and his ice weapon would be nice to add in the back for my cloud limit break banner build. Hoping to get some love for Matt soon! So I think Tifa's Feather Gloves while giving a magic def debuff replaces Amarant's Claws if she ever gets a physical water costume just because they raise Water Pot. We have buffers like Yuffie who can support her Attack up but atm we don't have anyone who can buff elemental potency so this is just an all around great weapon for her. The costume is a major investment for me when she eventually gets some AoE buffing/debuffing items. Sad though that we have another Tifa banner so soon after the Easter one.

It's separate from the regular stacking increase. My understanding is that it should give Tifa a +100% duration increase all on it's own, instead of 60%.
It should stack with the regular Buff/Debuff Duration Ability, yes but I'm not sure what you mean by "+100% duration increase all on it's own"..? The costume gives 60%, which then adds to whatever duration increase you get from the regular Debuff/Buff duration increase... So let's say I have a lvl 2 Debuff/Buff increase from R.Ability which is 40%, if I have this costume equipped (60%) it will then equal 100% increase to duration.

Yeah I think it is. It's just weird that they didn't call it Arcanum... So far we've seen "Mastery" in Red's "Canyon Duds" outfit but that unfortunately only is a "Debuff Mastery" and doesn't effect Buff duration, which is sad.

Already pulled Tifa costume. I have never been so lucky with stamps to be honest, I got it with 4 pulls and stamps were 6,2,2,3. Usually get many 1 stamps multiple ties and this is first time I ever got 6.
The Chariot weapons can be your free sub weps as well for starters! I wonder where this is going. Water seems to be getting a good amount of attention lately.
I would love Tifa's costume and both of their weapons but .. I'm saving and holding out until we see more of what's to come in May. I can't help but feel like we're due for a collab.

Octo, I'm convinced Applibot loves the Ice Element. So much so that they probably have Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" playing around the clock... But seriously, this banner is pretty good! Even better if you got Tifa's Bunny outfit! I'm just saying if you're a Tifa player ya'll are eating GOOD! This self-sufficient setup she has going on right now is pretty crazy. Best part about this banner if you did pull for Tifa's Bunny outfit, you don't necessarily have to pull on this banner! Since the main thing you want is Tifa's "Feather Gloves" you can just wishlist that later! I mean if you want the outfit, more power to you! Personally I think the Feather Style outfit is my favorite outfit that she has but I don't really play Tifa so this is a big skip for me!

I grabbed Tifa costume, hopefully no yuffie stuff while i recoup some gems, got ob1 bunny and ob3 feather, and from support got ob3 noble (its at 199/200 for ob4), and a single copy of green horn. I dont think ill be pulling for anything Tifa anymore, got her beach, bunny and feather costumes, so heal, dmg and tank/supp/buffer builds.

I’m torn if I want to pull or not I skipped Easter banner caused weapon was magic focused and I have dumped all physical stuff on her. She is my physical dps. Even though this new weapon is a physical attack it’s still is more magic focused than physical focused. Idk what to do.
Pot. means potentcy. Potentcy means how effective something is. There are three tiers of potentcy: low, mid, and high. If something refers to low potentcy, it means it provides a +1 or -1 modifier [(mid = +2/-2) & (high = +3/-3)].
I dont know how people pull on every banner if there not big whales? I only pull for my main 3-4 toons and i have plenty saved up for when ever there banners pop up. To me it makes sense to pass on banners where there not my main team, Right?
It's pretty much impossible to pull on every banner unless you have GOD LUCK, but that luck would be so insane that I would be mad that I wasn't using on the Lotto or something, lmao. But yeah if you're F2P or Low Spender (like me who buys battle pass) you won't have enough gems to pull on every banner, at least without crazy luck. So yes, you are doing the right thing! You should generally save and focus on your main 3-4 characters. As you build and focus on those main 3-4, you'll typically get random weapons for other characters that you'll get from all the free pulls they give us so it's entirely possible you pivot to more characters over time!
Typically, I have enough blue crystals to pull at least one page every other banner. I managed to pick up every limit break costume, and I've only ever purchased the battlepass. I think it's a bit short sighted to altogether neglect any of your characters, because they are all one banner away from being the best character in the game. Additionally, there is no way to access certain elemental builds if you limit yourself to only 4 characters. It typically takes about 24k crystals to obtain a costume. My advice would be, pull until you obtain a costume, and unless there are additional guarenteed weapons relatively close on the following page, or you want the other costume, just stop pulling if you aren't a whale. If you diversify your investments, you don't run the risk of being hamstrung or power crept out of the market. You'd be surprised how many OB10 weapons you'll accumulate from just wishlisting and doing around 8 pulls every other banner.

I still make top 100 in every ranking event and clear content with Cloud, Yuffie, Seph and Aerith barely changing to anyone else. The biggest departure from this was using Matt with Centipede bc I needed AoE PDEF to clear floor 70 of battle tower but even then I had Matt super low invested but the buff he provided to survival was all I needed.

And it's not that you need "every arcanum" per se, but some content requires you to have a fire element that is a magic attacker, so if you aren't using Zack or Aerith, you're options would be not available.
@@BFeast-jd5xq With the introduction of Highwind, you would be somewhat correct. I should have also clarified that I don't advocate to outright "neglect" other characters. Focusing on your main party does not equal "neglect everyone else" it just means you focus on building your main party up with weapons (wish listing) that will help them grow and getting strategically pulling for costumes that will help them clear all content. The Highwind, in that regard, hasn't changed that all too much, imo... Before Highwind's inclusion I had all my characters to 70 (max level as of this comment) and some amount of stat stream investment. So yes, you should invest in all characters *at some point*, not saying otherwise. Just think it's smarter investment to focus to make your main as strong as possible and then move on from there if you want. I currently have a lvl 19 Highwind with most of the "relic items" I've obtained (the free stat boosts) nearly maxed out if not maxed out. I'm also a week 1 player though, so that will def vary for a new player who just joined in.
New player here.🙂 Just want to clarify, for a guaranteed costume, is it 30k blue gems??? And how long am I to save to save up that much gems assuming minimal completion due of events due to being new???
To guarantee a costume, it's 36k - but that's if your luck was awful and you got a 1 stamp every draw. For most, you get at least a 2 stamp in there somewhere. But I would be safe with about 24+k upon going after a costume but, rng can be cruel sometimes. This game is so generous with its blue crystals. Every 7'th day of the month, they give out some for free. It's very quick to save up a decent amount. Maybe a month or so?
THANK YOU for being the only content creator who actually offers good advice. Others got baited on Tifa's Guide Gloves or Yuffie's Diner Tray, and have therefore been recommending that everyone skip all the following banners because they're broke. Payne and Nitelight had so many negative things to say about Cloud's Ice banner and Tifa's Bunny banner that I just can't take them seriously. How are new players supposed to go to them for good advice? You're the voice of reason, and I tip my hat to you, sir!
I somewhat agree with your comment, however Tifa's Guide Gloves and costume and Yuffie's Diner Tray and costume are both fantastic. The real problem is, many players who are f2p or only buy the battle pass will hit the costume and proceed to drop another 50k+ crystals pursuing more OB instead of utilizing those crystals for future costumes. The narrative that you can't delay gratification and utilize the wishlist/weapon parts properly is what usually ends up wrecking people's accounts. Before the highwind was released, there were some npc's in the community declaring you only need to build 3 or 4 characters, despite the fact you organically accumulate resources for 12 different characters. That particular opinion hasn't aged well, and it will be some time or money investment before certain players can catch up.
@@BFeast-jd5xq Yeah; pursuing OB is exactly what Payne and Nitelight did on the Guide Gloves, with depressing results. Additionally, Payne got way too caught up on his diner tray pulling. He actually pulled through the second page *while Yuffie's buff/debuff banner was still up*! He could have had a whole extra costume if he had just paused and thought a moment. Twas painful to watch. So now, apparently the best non-limited arcanum setup in the game is underwhelming. Because wreckless spending.
@@TechJer I probably use Wind Yuffie more than anything, but I stopped pulling after the 12th stamp. My wind Yuffie melt's things that don't resist wind because I have: Diner Tray OB6 Magic Shuriken OB5 Prism Rod OB7 Dark Heavens OB6 I also pulled Yuffie's buff/debuff costume and use it quite frequently. Having imperil plus a stat buffing weapon is pretty insane. Pulling two pages of guide gloves was the most efficient tactic available, and was a good call because of the Red13 costume having an OP weapon now. However, pulling more than one page on Wind Yuffie would be a f2p account-killer.

I'm just referring to the specific behavior of pulling *too far* for weapons, not outfits, which is not something to recommend to F2P/minnow players. In the case of Guide Gloves, both people pulled *past* page 2. So when I say they were baited, that's what I'm referring to. I personally pulled for Tifa's cowgirl outfit, so not knocking that either.
I think their thoughts on those banners were not unvalid. I don't recall if it was outright negativity but more of the weapons are good but have some caveats. For Cloud, IIRC, Nitelight was saying if you main hand the PATK all weapon which doesn't boost the regular PATK, you will need to chase boost PATK weapons on the subweapons slots. But if you do that, you maybe missing the ice boost subweapons which one would typically include for an ice build. The PATK all will benefit the second DPS in the party. However, the last unit is usually a healer and utility who may not see benefit since in harder content, that unit will be too busy healing or adding utility and wouldn't have time to DPS. But, if you put the PATK all on the healer, it would directly benefit the other 2 DPS units, but Cloud would not benefit from the ice potency since the weapon pairs with his ice arcanum. Regarding, magic water Tifa, the Bunny Gloves water potency is low compared to other ST elemental weapons. While Bunny Gloves self boost MATK with each attack will help with the low water potency, Payne's point was the self buff should start from mid / high at OB6. His criticism was that you would have to spend 12 ATB in order to get to high. I think he was drawing comparisons to other buff / debuff mechanics in the game where weapons at OB6 start at high potency.
Damn this was the unluckiest pull I've ever done. Cleared the first page and literally pulled 1 gold weapon which was literally the only guaranteed pull on stamp 6 😢

Sadly, all the co-op players do the events' co-ops pretty much exclusively. Very few do the regular co-op anymore. Even with the bait of gacha tickets for non-event co-ops, it's very hard to get a match these days. I just keep waiting (and waiting and waiting) for matches until I finish getting all the tickets, then I'm out. It's too frustrating to keep at it, otherwise I would. Just hammer at the solo battles if you can't get co-op matches, I guess.

The biggest departure from this was using Matt with Centipede bc I needed AoE PDEF to clear floor 70 of battle tower but even then I had Matt super low invested but the buff he provided to survival was all I needed.

And it's not that you need "every arcanum" per se, but some content requires you to have a fire element that is a magic attacker, so if you aren't using Zack or Aerith, you're options would be not available.

I should have also clarified that I don't advocate to outright "neglect" other characters. Focusing on your main party does not equal "neglect everyone else" it just means you focus on building your main party up with weapons (wish listing) that will help them grow and getting strategically pulling for costumes that will help them clear all content. The Highwind, in that regard, hasn't changed that all too much, imo... Before Highwind's inclusion I had all my characters to 70 (max level as of this comment) and some amount of stat stream investment.
So yes, you should invest in all characters *at some point*, not saying otherwise. Just think it's smarter investment to focus to make your main as strong as possible and then move on from there if you want. I currently have a lvl 19 Highwind with most of the "relic items" I've obtained (the free stat boosts) nearly maxed out if not maxed out. I'm also a week 1 player though, so that will def vary for a new player who just joined in.

New player here.🙂 Just want to clarify, for a guaranteed costume, is it 30k blue gems??? And how long am I to save to save up that much gems assuming minimal completion due of events due to being new???
To guarantee a costume, it's 36k - but that's if your luck was awful and you got a 1 stamp every draw. For most, you get at least a 2 stamp in there somewhere. But I would be safe with about 24+k upon going after a costume but, rng can be cruel sometimes. This game is so generous with its blue crystals. Every 7'th day of the month, they give out some for free. It's very quick to save up a decent amount. Maybe a month or so?

Others got baited on Tifa's Guide Gloves or Yuffie's Diner Tray, and have therefore been recommending that everyone skip all the following banners because they're broke. Payne and Nitelight had so many negative things to say about Cloud's Ice banner and Tifa's Bunny banner that I just can't take them seriously. How are new players supposed to go to them for good advice? You're the voice of reason, and I tip my hat to you, sir!
I somewhat agree with your comment, however Tifa's Guide Gloves and costume and Yuffie's Diner Tray and costume are both fantastic.
The real problem is, many players who are f2p or only buy the battle pass will hit the costume and proceed to drop another 50k+ crystals pursuing more OB instead of utilizing those crystals for future costumes.
The narrative that you can't delay gratification and utilize the wishlist/weapon parts properly is what usually ends up wrecking people's accounts.
Before the highwind was released, there were some npc's in the community declaring you only need to build 3 or 4 characters, despite the fact you organically accumulate resources for 12 different characters.
That particular opinion hasn't aged well, and it will be some time or money investment before certain players can catch up.
@@BFeast-jd5xq Yeah; pursuing OB is exactly what Payne and Nitelight did on the Guide Gloves, with depressing results.
Additionally, Payne got way too caught up on his diner tray pulling. He actually pulled through the second page *while Yuffie's buff/debuff banner was still up*! He could have had a whole extra costume if he had just paused and thought a moment. Twas painful to watch.
So now, apparently the best non-limited arcanum setup in the game is underwhelming. Because wreckless spending.
@@TechJer I probably use Wind Yuffie more than anything, but I stopped pulling after the 12th stamp. My wind Yuffie melt's things that don't resist wind because I have:
Diner Tray OB6
Magic Shuriken OB5
Prism Rod OB7
Dark Heavens OB6
I also pulled Yuffie's buff/debuff costume and use it quite frequently. Having imperil plus a stat buffing weapon is pretty insane.
Pulling two pages of guide gloves was the most efficient tactic available, and was a good call because of the Red13 costume having an OP weapon now. However, pulling more than one page on Wind Yuffie would be a f2p account-killer.
@@BFeast-jd5xq Certainly not knocking Wind Yuffie. I'm just referring to the specific behavior of pulling *too far* for weapons, not outfits, which is not something to recommend to F2P/minnow players.
In the case of Guide Gloves, both people pulled *past* page 2. So when I say they were baited, that's what I'm referring to. I personally pulled for Tifa's cowgirl outfit, so not knocking that either.
I think their thoughts on those banners were not unvalid. I don't recall if it was outright negativity but more of the weapons are good but have some caveats.
For Cloud, IIRC, Nitelight was saying if you main hand the PATK all weapon which doesn't boost the regular PATK, you will need to chase boost PATK weapons on the subweapons slots. But if you do that, you maybe missing the ice boost subweapons which one would typically include for an ice build.
The PATK all will benefit the second DPS in the party. However, the last unit is usually a healer and utility who may not see benefit since in harder content, that unit will be too busy healing or adding utility and wouldn't have time to DPS. But, if you put the PATK all on the healer, it would directly benefit the other 2 DPS units, but Cloud would not benefit from the ice potency since the weapon pairs with his ice arcanum.
Regarding, magic water Tifa, the Bunny Gloves water potency is low compared to other ST elemental weapons. While Bunny Gloves self boost MATK with each attack will help with the low water potency, Payne's point was the self buff should start from mid / high at OB6. His criticism was that you would have to spend 12 ATB in order to get to high. I think he was drawing comparisons to other buff / debuff mechanics in the game where weapons at OB6 start at high potency.

whats wrong with this game?? why cant co-op. im new to the game but how on earth can i use ifrit if i cant co-op
Sadly, all the co-op players do the events' co-ops pretty much exclusively. Very few do the regular co-op anymore. Even with the bait of gacha tickets for non-event co-ops, it's very hard to get a match these days. I just keep waiting (and waiting and waiting) for matches until I finish getting all the tickets, then I'm out. It's too frustrating to keep at it, otherwise I would. Just hammer at the solo battles if you can't get co-op matches, I guess.
