Going over the new banner featuring Tifa & Zack in FF7 Ever Crisis, and discussing how these new weapons and gear are instantly overshadowing the gear that came before.
8 pulls per page is the max mode. 6 pulls per page is the min mode. I pulled for TIFA's outfit back to back. I was suppose to save my diamond, but look at her....and the new R ability was really enticing. It was not necessary, but my eyes are happy. I managed to get it in 5 pulls.
Those gloves pair with the last round of gloves for tifa but if they're gonna do that they really need to layer up the banners so you get the chance to see that OR put them both on one card
I Caved and went after tifas outfit got 3 feather gloves so pretty happy, took 21k unfortunately. Question for you since I love your guides have you had any luck with Shiva ex1? I get about 1/2 way and it falls apart I've been using lots of ice resist and mdef but that drops fire pot alot thx as always 😊

Funny you mention OB6 from free pulls, as yesterday's got me OB6 Motor Drive and Guard Stick lol. Keep the freebies coming! I normally pull on Tifa outfits, but I think I'll stick to saving for now and just wishlist her weapon in the future (as I did luck into her bunny outfit with 4 x10 pulls). Altho, it is getting very backlogged with the amount of good sub weapons they keep adding lol

Regardless, happy for you! Speaking of Tifa’s last costume, I actually think these new weapons are the PERFECT companion weapon with her last outfit + weapon! Like I know some people had doubts gearing her up for magical when she largely has been physical based but honestly these last two banners put her up to speed, imo! She has already had some magical damage but with Water Arcanum + Bunny Gloves (MATK Buff Mid>High + up to 850% water damage) + Feathered Gloves (MDEF Debuff + Water Pot. Buff Mid>High) she is looking to be the best DPS in the game right now! Well obviously for Water teams but even if the boss isn’t weak to water (so long as they don’t resist water) she’d still be doing a LOAD of damage, particularly if said boss is weak to magic damage (like Shiva or Event Eggs) honestly at this point she really only “needs” a generalist magic weapon that has some Magical Ability Potency R.Abilities and she’s be legitimately set for whatever. Anyway, I know if Cloud got the same treatment (not that I’m complaining, mind you lol) I’d be ecstatic! I’ve been wanting the devs to pivot Cloud into magical builds for a while now, personally. But that’s mostly because I don’t like to branch out to too many characters and I’d ideally like to have one character “do it all” kind of deal. I mean eventually that will happen if the game lives long enough, but yeah… I digress. I think the costume looks GREAT and honestly it’s probably my favorite Tifa outfit right now (yes, even over the bunny outfit, lol) I think it looks elegant but sexy as well. Also Feathered Gloves were my favorite weapon on Tifa in FF7 Remake 😄 That said I do agree that the costume (outside of cosmetics) is more a “luxury” more than anything and just helps her support build, which was doing fine before without this costume. And yes, I’d LOVE for them to make costumes just cosmetic- totally would be down to just spend real money on cosmetic and no R.Ability type costume… But as you said that’s just a pipe dream 😅 Last thing, I don’t mind powercreep for the reasons you mentioned but I’m not gonna lie… I feel bad for Red man… Like he really does feel like a “test specimen” with how Applibot does him. For example, our first premium Breach weapon was his Beach Collar (Thunder Breach) which was such a weaker version in comparison to ever other Breach weapon which has come out. I mean Yuffie’s is SO much better than his (you could argue that it has been long enough for powercreep tho) Then you had his Canyon Duds which was Debuff Mastery for 40%… This is what I’m referring to… Bro got a 40% buff to Debuffs (on top of whatever Debuff/Buff R.Ability level you have it at) but then you have Tifa who not only have a 60% Debuff.. but it’s Debuff AND Buff multiplier that seems seperate from the regular Debuff/Buff R.Ability. I don’t even play Red and that hurt me to see lol EDIT: I’m sorry bro, I got so many thoughts in my head and type so much 😭

I see potential for Red. He is the red mage. He is mediocre at everything, but they gave him dual element resist and potentcy. He just got one weapon that does fire and ice resistance down to high tier. I have his remake crossover outfit. I think he is very viable now. It will get better for him
well this tifa outfit is what i was always keeping 30k gems for no matter what. obviously i pulled on this banner regardless of what it does, lucky enough you told me in this video i missed the power of the costume as i only thought about combining that water potency up with her bunny glove and the bunny costume stats for a massive water blaster. (yes i have zack's water resist down ob8 as well) about the diamond starve.... i dont know... i feel like i pull on every banner, i get shafted on all of them, but as long as i get the costume im good. on this banner tho it was redemption time. i only spent 24k gems for the costume and i spiked 2 bunny gloves and 2 feather gloves in the process, which makes the combo already usable
Great analysis! I can see what you mean about Zack's costume. HP would have been nice in lieu of buff/debuff, but I still think it's a generally strong buff, but perhaps not yet very useful for Zack lol
I agree. The amount of people who would pay a small charge (like $9.99) for a cosmetic is way bigger than people who would try to get a stamp card cleared just for the looks.
honestly I saw how much I'd have to spend to have cool stuff and gave up, too much busy work for me to keep up, even with some decent ob6/10 weapons.. but I still think it's a cool game, and love that new tifa costume :O went all in on zack/cloud limit breaks and burnt out I think
I don’t mind the power creep cuz old weapons can still get you through everything for the most part. I don’t think the line in the sand has been completely drawn yet. We’ll get there though I think. And I’m not pulling cuz I have Yuffie’s 4 point shuriken. At ob9 level 90 as a sub it’s equal to the debuff/buff extension on these outfits. Even though I really like Tifa’s outfit, I’m skipping. I no longer get outfits just cuz they look good. Plus, I have enough ice arcaniums. No need to get Zack’s. I also prefer to wishlist Red’s ivy collar.

I think, if I were to pull, I would go for Tifa’s costume, for easy permanent uptime on somersault debuffs and others. But, I wouldn’t feel the need to pull, tbh. I have Zack’s other buff/debuff extension one, and it’s weird that they gave him an arcanum with a support weapon… they seem to really be overestimating how much people will want these half DPS half utility elemental weapons. Even with Zack being one of my main characters (I have more outfits for him than anyone else), it’d be a skip for me. I feel bad for people who pulled for Red’s Canyon Duds (I.e., me lol). I think he’s the biggest victim when you look at Tifa’s new costume. They literally gave him only debuffs at 60+, while they gave Tifa buffs AND debuffs at 60+. And that was only a couple months ago, and Red has an LB and weapon for AOE defensive buffing. Truly a crime, but they’ve hated Red the whole time, so not really surprised lol
Yeah, it is almost as if the devs actively dislike Red. Putting his uniquely cool stuff to shame when it was one of the only things he had that made him better than other characters. And they do this every time with Zack, where they give him an outfit that doesn't really match his weapon. I laugh every time.
I was having a hard time with floor 70, saw the barret and agitation strat, beat it on my first try. Agitation really helps with the body slams it is crazy
Last time I tried it was around 2.5-3 months ago and I could survive, but didn't have the dmg. Timed out with the boss still at like 1/3 hp, so haven't tried again.
@@Nitelight9 i used Sephiroth’s wind set up and aerith’s debuff outfit with floral wand if that helps. My Seph wind weapon is ob 10 and he hit like a truck with wind resist down
I die 10 times but I made it with low obi weapons I use Seph with his wind costume obi 2 his wind weapon.Arrieth with flora wand obi 2 and barret with his agitation obi 3 easy 😊
I’ve got 30k crystals, so I think I’m passing on this one. You made a good, accurate, point; I’m a day 1 player… I don’t really NEED these things. So now I’m just looking for what I need and limited release weapons at this point.
They are being way too greedy with these banners, tbh. The stamp system sucks unless you basically win the lottery at this point, and I haven't gotten a damn thing outside of guaranteed pulls for featured items in like the last 3 banners. You'd think you'd at least pull one copy of each person's featured weapon by the end of the first card without the mercy.
Pulled two cards on Tifas last banner and didn't get a single copy. Pulled over 3 cards on guide gloves and never got a non-guaranteed copy. I FEEL YOU, bro!!!
Yeah, Matt has been falling by the wayside too. Seems like whenever they give Red or Barret some love, somebody else has to be pushed down (Matt & Lucia)
@Nitelight9 Lucia has got a few outfits. Matt is now the only one with only one banner outfit. The dude needs some love. He's a lot of people's main healer and he just doesn't have the build versatility from outfits.

It's less of a "she's not getting any alts" because they're flat out not true, and more like they're obvious fanservice. Which is something hard to avoid with a character design like Tifa, but I think that early alts were a pretty good middle ground. Like the summer time outfit, and the Christmas outfit. Amarant too. Her Cowgirl outfit is also awesome. But after that we got the easter banner and I am just not a fan of it at all. And while this one isn't as egregious, it's still not to my liking. Should also mention this is all just how I personally feel, and anyone who thinks differently is perfectly valid.
After playing rebirth… this game is chore.. you have to do so much to have a chance at the hardest content.. it was fun at first but once I missed a few banners I wanted.. my interest went in the toilet
