Three years later and still my favorite song by David Choi. I remember in high-school desperately yearning for this girl whom I could never be with because she didn't feel the same way. As a result I suffered a lot of heartache accepting the fact that we just weren't meant to be. Guess I'll just have to keep waiting for that special someone.

It's weird. In high school older people always tell you these things like to "let go" and "move on" but really, at a certain young age, I feel like you're gonna believe what you wanna believe until you actually learn the lesson yourself in life. Just a thought.

I think you are missing the point youBENtube25 if the woman left the other guy for the soldier it would pretty much be another shorter version of the notebook. the romantic part is that she stayed with the man she was with regardless of the emotions she may have felt for the soldier and that she didn't make a bad decision with the hand gesture showed with the flash back of the younger and older versions she still loves the man she was with plus the very letter written to her strengthens the love that much stronger the soldier simply expressed his emotions but in the end he did not want her to have to choose for whatever reason it was a goodbye letter every story doesn't have to have the same ending for it to be romance ;)
