We Cambodians are very friendly and welcoming. We love it when other people from different places appreciate our culture, language, and traditions. While some older or more conservative individuals may still hold biases regarding skin color and race, I am happy to see that Cambodia is becoming increasingly inclusive. Almost is fake about football in Cambodia please check it again before you posted your video just show Nigerian lives in Cambodia paints a misleading picture of football here. It wrongly portrays an amateur team as "professional" while completely ignoring the thriving Cambodian Premier League (CPL)-a league that's making waves in Asia.
This kind of false narrative damages the image of the developing Cambodian football, misleads aspiring foreign players who look to pursue a career here, and undermines the hard work of professional clubs and athletes who are active days and nights establishing a professional and competitive reputation in the region.
Important Note: This is not directed at the Nigerian community in Cambodia, whom we respect deeply. The issue lies in the false information presented about Cambodian football.

Just because you read comments welcoming all sorts to Cambodia it doesn’t reflect the truth. A recent CNA Insider video on Nigerian lives in Cambodia paints a misleading picture of football here. It wrongly portrays an amateur team as "professional" while completely ignoring the thriving Cambodian Premier League (CPL)-a league that's making waves in Asia. This kind of false narrative damages the image of the developing Cambodian football, misleads aspiring foreign players who look to pursue a career here, and undermines the hard work of professional clubs and athletes who are active days and nights establishing a professional and competitive reputation in the region.Important Note: This is not directed at the Nigerian community in Cambodia, whom we respect deeply. The issue lies in the false information presented about Cambodian football.

Cambodian visas are extremely easy to get and to extend (some nationalities, such as Nigerians will find it a bit more involved). It's just that Cambodia is not really an immigrant country (though in a sense, that is starting to change). Hence why few foreigners end up moving there, compared to western countries.
