Heechan and Lune did great! I had a lot of fun in this video! -Christina 🇺🇸
They picked good words for the English ones, "epitome" looks Italian, and "nauseous" looks French. Tough decisions for people not used to the Roman alphabet.
O brasileiro representou muito o BR comum tentando falar alemão 😂😂😂😂😂
Their pronunciation of the German words was so funny 😂😂
4:12 Brazil's anthem ☺️🇧🇷
André has such a cool vibe he remembers me a Brazilian singer called TINN
Who is André and what is he doing? :) Do you have a Instagram account of him or something like that?
In Brazil we also have the word "Epítome" with the same meaning. But we write with "acento agudo" on the "I" letter. Firstly, I thougth tha was a portuguese word, but then "Coração" came hahahaha
Same in french, that’s why I was surprised they chose this word
mana eu tava a reação inteira pensando "ue mas nera português essa palavra? será que to delirando?"

German is easy to guess, because of the long words with many consonants.
The game would be more difficult if similar languages were mixed, such as Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. German and Dutch. Russian and Ukrainian.
Because they always choose the same words. They should be more creative with the German words
@@afjo972 Yeah, having "sch" in the word or an umlaut sort of gives it away. Maybe something like "wondervoll", "motiviert", "beispiel", "besondere" or "kennenzulernen".
@@EddieReischli think you mean „wundervoll“
@@daval3223 Yup. Oops.
Considering that the two Korean guys didn’t have a clue about the languages that they were guessing, they did a good job 👍 As an Indonesian who’s learning French and German I’m always happy to learn new words that I’ve never heard before.
Yes they’re from DKB pls Check out their group
Good luck ! As French who learn German !
I speak german, if you have questions you can ask me too if you want!!
A gente necessita que esse brasileiro apareça mais vezes no canal
The german girl proves that you do not need coloured eyes to have beautiful eyes.
Parece que o André sem óculos perde um super poder, não estou acostumado a vê-lo tão tranquilo😂
Sim, ele tá tão calminho! Nem parece o André apocalíptico do TiKTok kkkk
@@rafaelrocha2966 Sim, mudou muito kkkk
Mana quem é ele?

1:50 For epitome, I'm impressed at how Heechan thinks, it's correct that the American has the most confident approach of the word yet the reason French also sounds legit is because it originates from Greek then Latin then Middle French (around 15th century). Good job catching that.
that and the fact Epitome is also a french word so it was still right :P
@@Azeos_s In modern French there is 2 accents though, it's épitomé (or at least épitome)
@@Azeos_sIf there were accents, yes:)
@@Azeos_sin portuguese too lol, epítome
It is a common word, they'd have to guess based on accent and on the other words
Acho que só no português existe esse som: "ão", até agora não vejo nenhum estrangeiro falar direito, até mesmo os que aprendem o português.
Yeah it’s a very unique vowel sound. Definitely nothing similar to it in English
Russos falam direitinho depois de um tempo.
Franceses falam bem o ão depois de um tempo também
- En français nous avons le son "on" qui ressemble beaucoup au son "ão" de la langue portugaise.
_ In French we have the sound "on" which is very similar to the sound "ão" of the Portuguese language.
- Em francês temos o som “on” que é muito parecido com o som “ão” da língua portuguesa.
@@Steven.P. je ne pense pas que "on" se ressemble au son "ão" de la langue portugaise...
Weird how she says it eppy-to-me rather than e-pih-to-me
I suppose she's overcorrecting. In an average American accent, the second would be correct.
Most americans dont pronouce epitome like that. we say it like Eh- PIT- OO-MEE
As a German Non-Native Speaker, I always muted the 'e'. Similary to German Epitom (pronounced [ˌepiˈtoːm]) The English [əˈpɪtəmi] seems completely ridiculous to me and I'm never gonna say it like this. Everything is twisting and turning when I just see the IPA Transkription of the English Pronounciation.
@@nick3805in English, many Greek origin words have some aspects of their original pronunciation conserved.
This was so funny to watch! Especially at the second round when they had everything wrong at first, but somehow managed to switch it to the right persons 😆
Epitome in English comes from middle French so giving it to the French girl also made sense ^^
This word also exist in portuguese. Epítome. But have a little different meaning. But this word came from greek.
Eh- pit-oh-me is how you say it.
5:10 Not only, it's also something that we can't change. Somebody who makes things "inébranlablement" doesn't change his mind easily and is not influenceable.
For French I was going for : « anticonstitutionnellement »
O Brasil, reapresentou muito bem tragam o André mais vezes. 😂😊
Loving your efforts guys, the struggle is real! 😂👏
A música de celebração é o hino nacional!! Kkkkk 🤭🙈🤭🙈🙈
tudo que o andré falava o haechan dizia que parecia igual KKKKKKKKKKKK
quem?
@@Bagregol o de marrom (?)
I don't know German, French or Portuguese. I only know English and my English is not perfect but it is easy to understand which language the words belong to. I can understand from the combination of letters, for example 6:42 I can understand that these letters come from Portuguese and 8:08 I can understand that this word is German. Too easy
for 6:42 the letter "â" is also used in french, but at 2:23 the letter "ã" can only be Portuguese because it is neither German, English or French
@@Steven.P."relâmpago" doesn't sound like a French word. It is understood which language the word belongs to, not only from the letters but also from the spelling of the word.
@@Steven.P.French words rarely end with O, I only find that with Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.
You have to remember that Koreans don’t use the alphabet. It’s like westerners trying to figure out which East Asian characters.
O André que demais 🇧🇷😘
🌍 Loved seeing you guys tackle those tough words! 🎤
But in french we use epitome too !!!
That’s the epitome of pronouncing epitome badly
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I wish you a happy new year
After hearing it in at least two episodes recently, 🇫🇮 I've been saying 🇩🇪🐿️ eichhörnchen all day along. 😂 Probably because it's pronunciation reminded me of how 🇸🇪 Swedish Swedish pronounces my absolute favourite word in the world 🇸🇪🇫🇮 sju (number 7). There's just something captivating in those kind of sounds. 🤔 It's important to note that 🇫🇮 Finland Swedish pronounces sju totally differently, meaning it almost sounds like a shoe in English (I try to use 🇸🇪 rikssvenka's pronunciation to the best of my abilities).
If you like "Eichhörnche " so much, you might also like "Streichholzschächtelchen" (little box of matches).
Another word is "streifenhörnchen", which is the word for a chipmunk, sometimes called ground squirrels.
Lune & Heechan did great! 😄👍👏
Both Luney and Heechie did really well and they were so cute too
they all look so pretty omg
Heechan is always so cute^^And Lune never loses her elegant ways lol💖
4:11 - Am I crazy or is that Brazilian's Hymn?
colocaram logo coração que tem ç e ã pra eles adivinharem kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Meteram um hino do Brasil aqui 4:10 kkkkkk
im so happy to see dbk on this channel omg
Am i the only one that thinks that the American mispronounced epitome? Like based on how we pronounce it in the states?
The way she pronounces it makes me think she learned it from reading rather than hearing other people say it. That's how I learned the word, and in my head it was always "eppy-tome" for years cause honestly its not a word you hear a lot. At least I didn't growing up.
This is a dream come true. I stan DKB since their debut❤
As a Australian English speaker I say (eh-pit-o-me)
Good game! Everybody's contributed to some nice Freundschaftsbeziehungen!
it is been a while since i have seen the dkb members and lune for sure has become way more confident and less shy than i have known him until now
More like these videos please!~
Omg love u❤❤❤❤
Muito bom !!!
Is the German girl nervous or in a hurry? 😅 Well at least she made me nervous with her foot.
Maybe it’s an ADHD thing? I’d be doing the same 😊
muito bom o br confundiu eles mas eles foram certeiros hahah
Nem que me pagassem para aprender alemão eu iria pq cada palavra é um trava língua KKKKKKKKKKKKK
Isso pq você não viu o turco kkkkkkkkkk
Make sure to check out DKB 'what the hell'
I love how Heechan said that when learning language you should be confident, its so true!! Because if you say something wrong its okay! You'll learn from it, i personally am learning Korean, ive been learning for 3 years and my reading and writing is fluent coz like its easy lmao but the thing i need to work in is my own confidence when speaking so thank you heechan!! ❤ Both Heechan and Lune did amazing on guessing !!!❤
Dkb's Lune & Heechan really did a great job guessing those hard languages,I really love their teamwork & their gut feeling😍😍
And here we see that german is literally a hard language
"epitome" is almost a french word, "épitomé" is the french word with the same meaning
epitome is a Greek loan word, iirc. *checks* And it looks like it comes from Greek, into Latin, into Old French, into English. So.... sorta?
I think that épitome is more used than épitomé...
And Epitom is German. It is pronounced [ˌepiˈtoːm] through with all Vowels long and the 'o' actually being an 'O'.
@@carthkaras6449 Your right épitome is used in French but not épitomé
épitome, not épitomé
eles sempre colocam o hino nacional do Brasil nos vídeos kkkkkkkk
As someone had took 4 years of french in school and is fluent in english as well as german this was the easiest video yet😂
BORA BRASIL
Hi. The word epitome in Portuguese has an accent in the syllable i. It's written as epítome. The strong syllable is pí because of the accent.
Fee is so beautiful
andre eu te amo vey, sua felicidade é contagiante
5:24 it’s like the same voice as google trad french
the American girl pronounced epitome so wrong?? are you sure she is fluent in english 😭
That's what i said aswell
That’s really fun because I just realized that I speak the four languages : Português do Brasil (Idk how to say it in English, or at least I’m not sure), german, english and French… now I just have to learn Korean 😂
André engambelando no alemão com a maior confiança do mundo kkkkkkkkk
Freundschaftsbeziehungen по количество слогов совпадает с friendship relationships. А дружеские взаимоотношения, конечно же, значительно их провосходят. Слишком длинно.
Christina has come full circle ⭕️, started at Awesome World, then World Friends and now Awesome World 2 years later! 😊 I’m not sure about the 2 guys knowledge in English or other languages, very well done!
I can't with Lune and Heechan😂😂
It's actualy very easy to know how word is from each language if know a little bit of each, if you just see something write on that language. They are very different of each other, so this make more easy. Portuguese have a lot of accent, but just one on each word, never two. Portuguese also have more consonant + vowel + consonant + vowel. Few word have a lot of consonant together as german. If a word is too long and have a lot of consonant together is probably german. Frech have a lot of vowels together and consonant too, but if some balance between the too. And english almost don't have any accent hardly could mistaken with a german word and a french word.
HELLO UNO DE ARGENTINA POR FAVORRRRRRR
Freundschaftsbeß😀 9:32
This is funny 😂
😊😊😊❤❤❤
2:56 *ichoronggong*
11:39 "without precise goals" not "calls" 😁 it means "to stroll" 🚶
Por que eles usam o início do hino do Brasil como música de comemoração?
onde?
onde?
10:07 that one killed me (positive way^^)
Is that how Americans say epitome? Or is it just her.
That’s how Americans say epitome (I speak with an American accent)
Well, I am from South Eastern USA. That word is pronounced short(eh) E sound, pit, o, me.😊
@@capp83 That sounds like how i would say it, and I'm Australian. Hearing the ending as ome, and not o, me sounds odd.
That is not how Americans pronounce it. It seems like she may not be familiar with the word. She pronounces the sounds mostly correct, but her intonation is not which makes it sound unnatural.
@@capp83I’m from the northeast as would pronounce it the same as you. Her intonation just seems a bit off.
Love how Heechan was confident with the WE got both rounds right 😂
Epitome is also a French word
Olha o Andrééééééé
God that french girl is 🥵
Epitome is also a French word.
Please, place the microphones closer to them so that we can hear them better, as the sound is muffled. 😉
For Brazil, they should have used the words: "Otorrinolaringologista" and "Paralelepípedo". It would be really funny to see them trying to pronounce 😂
Mds nosso eminem brasileiro ta aki 😂😂so aconpanho ele pelo tiktok
eminem br foi de fuder kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Do nada o hino nacional 4:13 kkkkkkkkk

LMFAO the way they were lowkey just winging everything and the second round they were all wrong in the beginning and managed to change it all to the correct things with their gut 😭 love dkb 🫶🏼
I feel like Lune has a future in french
Lune was main right at first.
