just wanted to leave some love here, i am loving your casts, the games and the game itself. its a shame that so many people are downplaying the potential this game has, even with all its current flaws. keep doing what you are doing!
This looks so much more polished since the last time i watched SG. the shaders look great, the units look awesome and have their own feel and movement, unique units with unique abilities, im lovin this now.
What happened in the final game went something like this: *Several seconds after the natural was destroyed* Elazer: Where is my natural? PartinG: HEAVEN Elazer: gg *leaves*
While people like to parrot opinions along the lines of “X thing is doomed”, there is a possibility that SG is poorly managed. The paid hero on first release shows a lack of UX awareness, the lack of observer/player parity when the esports aspect is one of the few things the game is doing well is likewise. That being said, it is also possible that SG is really an early WIP like the staff say it is. Most players just don’t understand how rough a game can be during development. Releasing the game in this state is a detrimental leap of faith at best
Wish elazer played it out. Sure his odds are poor but imagine a sports team just walking off the field down 20 at half time. We will never see epic comebacks with FF being acceptable in the competitive environment. Poor standard to set. Pro scene needs to produce entertainment to make money.
This games on its last leg, I hope you can transition to something that makes you more money because your passion for RTS is worth it. Till then I’ll still watch for the algorithm. Age of mythology is really fun! Hint hint

If there is one thing SG is doing well right now it’s a diverse early game, at least when mass dog is not on the table

Some people just don’t care for AoM’s aesthetic theming, even if the game mechanic is in the same genre
