How to find tires for a motorcycle.

I searched several websites to find a matching pair of tires for my 1999 sportster 1200 custom. I had a hard time finding the right sizes in the same tire. And when I found a tire that came in the correct size for the front and rear One of them or sometimes both of them were out of stock. I went to Amazon and found a Harley Davidson branded Dunlop tire a D402F for the front and a D402 for the rear. I had to order them from 2 different places. I was very surprised that the front was at an Indian dealer.
