This is a review of my Schuberth helmet. I bought it at Cycle Gear in Omaha, NE.

Saddle Tramp said in one of his videos that if you buy an old Harley you will have content for your channel. He was correct. I bought this 1999 XL1200C. It had a couple minor problems. I needed a new helmet. I went to cycle gear. The person there helped me pick out a real sharp looking helmet. I think this will be my go to brand for helmets. Only time will tell.

I had just done a 14 hour shift and was ready to go home. The headlight on the sportster would not work. Neither high or low beam would work. Sometimes you have to get creative.

I used Mother's California Gold Chrome Polish. I could not believe how well it worked.

I do not plan apehangers. I did get a set of risers. They will make the bars a little higher and preach a little further back. I will keep the stock bars. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I replaced my stock headlight with an led one and about 2 weeks later coming home from work at 5 am, it went out. No bright, no dim🤬lucky for me, I tossed the original in my saddlebag. 20 mins later I had light again. Spent good money for a quality led and love it now, going on 3 yrs
Cool sportster, Howard. If you get an ironhead or shovelhead, you'll never run out of content.
@SaddleTrampTV I like this one. It was originally bought to build a trike for my wife. That plan was dropped. I have thought about putting cams in it. Not sure I want to spend that kind of money. The other problems need fixed first. Then I might do cams. I am not after big power. I would like more.
I think some moron relocated those lights. He probably screwed something up when doing so. It doesn't look like the stock set up to me.

Yep. Those bullet style signal lights didn't come out until the 2000's.

I like the G Max helmet. mine is a modular that wears like a full face it was right at $149.
I will check them out is it quiet? That is cheap for a modular helmet. They are usually pretty pricey.
I bought a nice fullface helmet at the Harley dealership for $169
I have not seen a full face that cheap at the local Harley dealer. They have half helmets for as much as $300.
the Bell Qualifier DLX Full-Face Blackout Helmet looks good under your budget and is sleek looking

Cool! I have rims with lots of hard water, this might work!
My wife's mustang sits all winter. The rotors rust. In the spring the rust gets all over the wheels. I put the polish on a Brillo pad. It came right off. It had been on there for years. I was pleseantly surprised how easy it was.

My wife yesterday hinted that she wanted some fruit trees. She said about Bomgaars"I wonder if they have any dwarf fruit trees?" I usualy do not catch her hints. Yesterday day was easy enough for even me to get. I went there today and looked at the fruit trees. When I saw the combination cherry trees and then the combination apple trees I knew I had to get them. Then when I saw the dwarf burning bush I had to get it as well. I used a vibrating sander. With the beads in the bottle and the bottle in the hose. Connect the hose to the stem and hold the bottle above the stem. Then just turn on the sander, without any sandpaper on it, and hold it against the tube of beads. It takes a little while and the hose will wear through after a couple uses, so move the sander around on the hose. The vibration will shake the beads into the tire, then put the valve stem back in and air up the tire.
Were you able to balance them yourself?? Just curious, sometimes things like that we tend to forget about.
I used balance beads in the front. After all the problems with the back tire I did not balance it. I have run several tires in the past that way with no problems.

I have 16" on both front and back have never been able to get matching brand tires.
Dennis Kirk and Motorcycle warehouse superstore may have that size. 👍

Nice bike. I have the very same one, except mine is black. I actually love your paint. Just like yours...mine is completely stock with the exception of an engine oil cooler. I know you're going to love your new bike.
I do like the Heritage. I bought a 99 Sportster Custom. I like it a lot.
