Yeah, losing 1k on the loop isn't very much ... Well, I'll be doing this now whenever I take bunker missions, it's going to take more time, but the added income will help ... basically making a 20k bunker run into a possible 60k run in exchange for a few extra minutes looting (10 to 15 more minutes).
Can you load your ship with the bodies, fly to an outpost and strip the gear off at the freight elevator, then cross load into your boxes. The distro HRT merc missions would be easier, the distro center has a bunch of cargo elevators.
I though by having the box next to the bodies you could just open the box inventory and drag the armor directly from the bodies. You could also just drop your stuff in another box and then naked go to loot the bodies drag just the undersuit (that should transfer everything to your char) and then put the stuff on the box
While this is good for bunkers, this doesn't work (at least for me) at locations like mining outposts, I can't get the box inside the buildings, so you end up carrying out each piece one at a time.... a real pain
If we could store all the bodys in a box lol, that would be easier. You could unequip everything off them inside the box. How many bodys can an 32 SCU box hold? All of them...

This new system won't affect me, I only loot what I can carry. The only time I ever brought a body back to my ship was when I found a dead guard in the heavy crusader armour.
It is not necessary, I'll make it easier for you, keep your Suit in the box and stay completely naked, then go to the body you want to loot and put on the suit in question, when you do this, automatically all the Loot of the character in question, you will be wearing it. Repeat the action, Until you finish looting everything
Can't you still just drag your stuff into the box and then quickly drag the under suit of the body onto yourself which would then loot everything all at once?
That's a great option for sure. I just wanted to see if we can still look npcs. I think having the box right there without having to move them is just a little bit faster but not safer

Congratulations CIG, you've made the most tedious looting system in an MMO ever! That's a feat and a half. MMOs like SWG figured out lotting in 2003-04.
An ethereal container at a click of a button isn’t fitting for this game. The looting has some mechanical issues but this is just a boneheaded comparison.

It's crazy that not a single person in the verse has a wallet on them. Sure, you could strip the clothes off their back, but I would rather take the $20 they have left over from lunch.
SC becoming more and more time consuming every new patch... I'll have to leave my job at some point to play this game. The thing is: We HAVE to buy boxes, we can't craft it, yet. We buy it, we put in our ship, go to the location, put the box inside the location, kill everyone, loot the armors and weapons just to be unable to put in the box due to a bug that marks the capacity of the box with an infinite (8) symbol that CIG is too incompetent to fix. Result: You lost 3 hours of your life for nothing and enter in a state of fury, breaking everything in your room and stop playing SC for a year. Is that the goal of CIG? Creating those stupid unnecessary things to annoy us and waste our time? Sorry, but I have better and fun games to play instead of this crap.
i have seen a lot of crap in games. a lot of very disgusting behaviour just ruining games for profits. SC and CIG are very different in that regard. it's just plain incompetence.
I see alot of whining on channels about the new looting, the game HAS always been moving in this direction. CiG doesn't want you to be able to pick up every scrap you find UNLESS your willing to put in the time. Your looting looks pretty good you have a fair understanding of what's important to you to take and what to leave. Me, I'm a pack rat. The new system slows me down a bit, but I still manage to take nearly everything. Like you I normally leave the dudes without armor but I take the handguns
This is a gratifying illustration of why the current patch sucks, and all the CIG talk of loot perks is hollow. I want the physicalized universe. They should have worked out more of the kinks before putting out this patch. Same with Master Modes. Nah. It's fine. Just make the game unbearable to play.
The game has always been headed in this direction. Every single item will eventually be stored and have to be interacted with, no magic bags of holding. I like it, but it can be more refined, I'm sure, to make it a bit faster, hopefully.
The fastest way is once the bunker is clear drop your gear on the floor then every body u come to drag the undersuit into you then to the box that will move everything then once done put your gear back on and off you go 🫡

Sure, but the UI could still be less awful lol.
Why can’t we drag from bodies to nearby container? You know, like you would in real life? Real people would just be tossing what they looted in the box like Kobe.
It's crazy that not a single person in the verse has a wallet on them. Sure, you could strip the clothes off their back, but I would rather take the $20 they have left over from lunch.
🤣 you got a good point or give us a little data chip with their aUEC on
Mobile glass wristband is your wallet you should beable to transfer the funds to your like nfc would be cool but you would need to hack it
doesn't work in armistice zone
Loot citizen
i have seen a lot of crap in games.
a lot of very disgusting behaviour just ruining games for profits.
SC and CIG are very different in that regard.
it's just plain incompetence.
this looks so tedious
I see alot of whining on channels about the new looting, the game HAS always been moving in this direction. CiG doesn't want you to be able to pick up every scrap you find UNLESS your willing to put in the time. Your looting looks pretty good you have a fair understanding of what's important to you to take and what to leave. Me, I'm a pack rat. The new system slows me down a bit, but I still manage to take nearly everything. Like you I normally leave the dudes without armor but I take the handguns
💯
I love the new system. I hated that people could just hide their loot in magic inventories
If nothing else the new system slows the economy down which is a good thing I think
All around waste of time.
This has to be the most stupid mechanic ive ever seen in any video game.
This is a gratifying illustration of why the current patch sucks, and all the CIG talk of loot perks is hollow. I want the physicalized universe. They should have worked out more of the kinks before putting out this patch. Same with Master Modes.
Nah. It's fine. Just make the game unbearable to play.
This is the dumbest system, unnecessary time sink.
The game has always been headed in this direction. Every single item will eventually be stored and have to be interacted with, no magic bags of holding. I like it, but it can be more refined, I'm sure, to make it a bit faster, hopefully.
Thats boring @@MrBucky769
@@MrBucky769 That's fine but I think it's an unnecessary time sink it's not like CIG has never changed direction.
CIG have lost the plot. This looks awful
It's the same as it's always been no?
The fastest way is once the bunker is clear drop your gear on the floor then every body u come to drag the undersuit into you then to the box that will move everything then once done put your gear back on and off you go 🫡
