To me, Burke may have been a drunken, violent mobster who was an asshole to his own daughter and Lincoln, but damn his death cutscene was sad as all hell. Deep down, I think he still cared for her through his rough exterior. Also hot damn Lincoln looks good in that suit and hat. Really badass.
@@mike04574 You need to call a single lieutenant to lock down both rackets of the same district. Also, follow this order to assign them : Cassandra, Vito, Burke. I think some of the districts matter to them but you shouldn't worry too much (I started with Barklay for Cassandra and Downtown for Vito and they were beyond peaceful for the rest of the game)

You know despite everything that was bad about him you can't but help but feel sorry for him he is so relatable in so many ways he had to claw and scrape just to eke out a living nothing was handed to him on a silver platter yeah no choice but to take this route to live granted he probably wasn't all that best father towards his son and daughter but he still love them both and maybe just in the back of her mind she still loves her Dad too basically just look what you said to Lincoln clay after the mission to kill Burke she still hated him but at the same time hoping he would repent

Then Sam kills Paulie so then Tommy had to kill him. He had the Books which Salieri had so he can give it to the feds and turn him in, in exchange of keeping his family safe and go to prison, plus they want in Witness Protection. He did it for his family, plus Salieri and Sam betrayed him.

Burkes death was more emotional, but humble. He died with more concern for Nicky and his final moments were spent in a philosophical pass. His final request was “keep Nicky safe” because he knew she would suffer the hard end of his death. What I love about Burke was he’s not the atypical Irish, he reached his limit and took it peacefully despite his turmoil for Nicky. Vito took his final moments to make one last attempt at attacking Lincoln, Vito REFUSED to go down and spent that moment in the restaurant saying “fuck you” just like Falcone. But unlike Falcone Vito had more strength. Now Cassandra? Cassandra died in pain and in tears. She suffered a lot before Lincoln, so she died suffering in where she suffered the most: Bakas hideout.
So i gave my mom some Food ideas. *Bucatini* glad i did cause they're really nice. Yesterday i ate a red sauce one and today a white sauce one. I think i ate it a few years ago when i was really young cause i recognise the taste. Sadly she couldn't find longer Pasta like Bucatini should be but it's still good! Hopefully when I get older i can make it myself, plus follow Rick's Steps.

If I was Lincoln in real life, I wouldn't treat neither of them bad and would give each of them 3 districts, but definitely keep an eye on Cassandra and don't give her too much power, because she really be giving me these vibes that she's just a two-faced person and only works with me, because she knows she'll end up like the rest if she gon' mess with me. Tbh it would only make sense to kill her if anyone. You could say even without Mafia 2 and only from Lincolns perspective, that Vito is a very useful strong loyal ally and professional and even though it wasn't mentioned, they're also brothers in arms and after you saved him and worked with him as promised, there's no reason why you as Lincoln should see him as a potential threat and the same goes for Vito for the same reasons. Burke and Lincoln go probably way back, because Lincoln was friends with his son and is friends with his daughter, so Burke is like family, he's the only one who actually knows him. Cassandra is a bit off tho. She probably didn't lie about her past and might really have some internal struggles from her bad and sad experiences, which made her the way she is, but she still comes off as manipulative and this whole talk about black folks and ''brothering'' Lincoln feels sometimes like an act and more like an excuse or justification for her subtle greed for power, like as if it's more like a personal thing and not really all about the community as she's making or trying to make it look like it is and Lincoln must be feeling kinda the same and maybe he even has more thoughts and suspicions. So if anyone had to die, then it would be her and we see most of this being true in her ending, when she took over and had too much power, which like I said should not be giving to her. I gotta say man.. like any other story/game it has a little things here and there that don't make a lotta sense, but they sure as hell knew how to write these characters and did a well-written and somewhat poetic story
I'd never betray Vito, I left the city and let him run it because I though he deserved it in the last game, here he was mostly a loud mouth, but it doesnt matter bc that is the idea of being loyal, you keep being loyal even if you dont like some stuff
Not keeping them all alive is like Lincoln betraying their trust instead of them betraying him so to speak,I mean you have 6 districs in the game and all you have to do is to give them 2 each,it's not like you have to make a tough decision about who is a better underboss than the other or something,killing them when the choice to make them all alive is so easy it's very dirty,if you had to make a hard decision of choosing one to lead the whole city in the end and the other 2 turn on you would be a different story,2K lost a very good opportunity there imo.
I’m trying to keep one boss alive which is Vito. So I gave every district to Vito but somehow I wasn’t given the option to take out Burke before getting rid of Sal Marcano 😭😭 Looks like I’ll have to replay the game a 3rd time before I can get the platinum trophy for PS4
If you do Burke's side missions, his loyalty will increase and it will make it so he won't betray you even if you fuck him over with the districts. So avoid those next playthrough, same with Cassandra.

Just give Vito all the districts and don't bother with the side missions at all and you're aces. All I have left to do is my flip playthrough, and the trophies related to 500,000. Just gotta hope my game doesn't crash and screw up the counter.

This game could’ve been amazing if it wasn’t so repetitive, the storyline was good the gameplay was solid and the addition of Vito coming back legit made me aroused. I have every district to Vito when I first played this game considering mafia II is one of my fav games of all time and had no issues killing Cassandra but killing Burke was kinda sad tbh, bottom line… this game was a wasted opportunity to have a great trilogy. I only hope we get a 4th one with Vito and joe reuniting

I feel like killing them is just flat out wrong I kept all them alive left town and Vito took over, I kinda feel like it was a Breyer ending no one hated me the hollow was repaired Burt had two districts same as Cassandra. In my mind joe is working for Leo as his driver and will one day meet up with his old pal Vito and perhaps one day they together will meet Lincoln 🤷♂️
That’s crazy I beat the game recently n I gave 3 to each of them never killed any of them I should of mabye killed Casandra but I limited her power but I didint kill her
First play through i gave everyone equal share, second time round Vito got 4, Burke 3 and Cass 2. Vito is the most likeable even if you didn’t play as him in Mafia 2. Burke is a bit of a racist drunk and Cass is patronising and too narrow minded. I was tempted to just give Vito everything

I feel like killing them is just flat out wrong I kept all them alive left town and Vito took over, I kinda feel like it was a Breyer ending no one hated me the hollow was repaired Burt had two districts same as Cassandra. First play through i gave everyone equal share, second time round Vito got 4, Burke 3 and Cass 2. Vito is the most likeable even if you didn’t play as him in Mafia 2. Burke is a bit of a racist drunk and Cass is patronising and too narrow minded. I was tempted to just give Vito everything
