My hometown Kota Bharu! Certainly the biggest food capital in Malaysia together with Penang. Watching this from Finland, far far away from my beloved home gave me mixed feelings. Happy, sad, jealous all at the same time. Thanks guys.

How far from KL? Looks like an amazing place and super nice people! Great place to explore and eat at! Love your videos, you should have more subscribers. :)
This place is maybe the farthest point from KL on Mainland Malaysia but is definitely worth the trip depending on why you are travelling! If you look for our jungle train video it is one of the most magical experiences in a long time and it almost links KL to this place! 😉

Kelantanese are known for having a sweet tooth. Don’t be surprised that even the roti canai curry gravy are laced with sugar
We did notice a difference and often asked for some garam (salt) for the curry / dal!
We have a sweet tooth too but love our roti canal savoury! 😋

If u vegetarian want eat rice find 'Nasi Campur' lof of dish u can choice. My fav jackfruit curry.

Kota baru... emm dont think there are many 'Mat salleh' (caucasians) heading to kelantan... but then again you guys are a fun couple and see things in a better perspective. Plus ,to que for hours just for an ice- cream... that is so wicked , It must be so sedap ice cream.😁
Haha we must admit that during our whole time in Kelantan we only saw a couple of tourists, we hope that we can inspire more people to visit!

Kota Bharu can be translated into english as "NewCastle". They also have very thick accent which for many is hard to understand. KInda like the Geordies I suppose 😅
