- Did you know cacti can change how they taste? But what's the secret behind it?
We took a closer look by checking out three different types of cacti. Even though we see cacti all the time, there's a lot we don't know about what's inside them, their roots, and those pointy spines.
Make sure to watch our video to find out all the cool stuff about cacti you probably never knew!

Thank you! I finally understand why the older generation gardeners would caution as to the time of day/night when harvesting nopales. In Spanish speaking countries, Nopal is a common name for Opuntia cacti (commonly referred to in English as prickly pear or tender cactus), as well as for its pads.
Cacti were harmed in the making of this video. RIP 😢
Ah, the Cacti.
A most rare breed of fish.
There is a common misconception where people think cacti are plants, which of course is not true.
They are bottom feeders who make use of long appendages spread throughout the ground.
As a seft defense mechanism they have evolved throns, this keeps them safe from other predators.
Their diet consists of water, sunlight and the souls of the damned
The spell of self defence is wrong
@@iEatDirtEveryday both are fine
Love the little cactus hats lol 👒🌵
thats a funny looking fish
Camels simply do not care about the spines
That was pretty cool and that one cacti grew a little hat.

Love the Editing. Keep making these interesting videos!!
Hi , great video as always , im mexican, so in our country is pretty normal to eat a variety
of cactus, called nopal, we remove the spikes and we grill them or boil them
very common on our version of barbecue (Carne asada).
thats why i find the nature very interresting
That was very informative 👍👍
your edits are funny😂
you know I always always been wondering and nobody give me good answer, when we got bitten by mosquitos, it formed an inflamation right? if... IF we puncture or like cut it a teeeny bit... can we drain the blood and lower inflamation? not saying you 'should' try puncture or cut it a teeny bit... but... you know lol
Finally the other voice
That's a spiny and chlorophyl filled fish...
Is this your real voice?
Wanna eat some dragon fruits now 😢
roses have thorns too
Roses actually have prickles. They are distinguished from thorns because they grow from the surface of a skin-like layer ou the exterior of the stem, rather than growing out of the stem itself.
@@SillySpaceMonkey oh niiice
So i should eat my Pachanoi in ther morning! 😎
Roses have prickles, not thorns.
The sound effects re distracting ….i get they are popular but doesn’t work for this video

Ive never seen this fish in the sea before
KAKTOTH!!!!
🙈 "Promo SM"
You should change your channel name to just "science" otherwise funny people will continue doing the same joke
And it is funny how people can't give a like to a joke and leave it, but instead all of them spam the same joke for the precisou internet points or something...
@@sophiacristina I find it sad. As far as I can tell, it's becoming an addiction, maybe craving for acceptance, or rather, it became one a long time ago. Kids are editing their comments and thanking random people for liking it as if it meant something, and if they're foreigners, editing their comment asking to be forgiven for their poor English as if it was a sin.
@@schizophrenic_rambler Indeed, i'm of a time that your own enjoyment of things were enough.
Seems like people are more worried about what people think of them than what they think of themselves.
Which is ironic, because the average is not a good standard.
I miss the old voice...
