If he was true to his word, this year (2018) he'd be winning that 8th championship he indirectly promised in this video. It's funny how life is. This team seemed like it would be unstoppable, but there was no way to predict Wade's rapid decline and Bosh's blood clotting issues. Who would have thought that Curry and the Warriors would come out of nowhere to become one of the greatest teams of all time? The NBA, like life, is unpredictable. You can be on top of the world at one moment and feel as though nothing can stop you and hit rock bottom in the next moment and vice versa.

12 years later they ended up only winning 2 rings and played together for 4 years.. Present Day Lebron in his 5th year as a Laker he has 4 rings 9 finals appearances and the NBA all time leading scorer.. Chris Bosh has 2 rings but had health issues that caused an early retirement and was inducted in HOF in 2021.. Wade has 3 rings retired a Heat in 2019 and is going into HOF this year..
