Hey Chris! Great vid, amazing colors, did the same at Rigaud last week (not quite as rad;) Just wondering what you're running for cams these days as your footage is really nice and crispy. I've been testing the 360-X4 lately with unexpectedly great results but normally run a Gopro 9 & 11, but I've noticed lately that my exported footage (in Resolve "TH-cam" mode) basically looks like mushy crap. Nice small file sizes which is the only benefit. Then others with the same settings look great. Anyway looks like you're running a lens mod...let me know if you have any rendering advice! Cheers
I should really make a video on my GoPro settings… so I am using a GoPro hero 13 black. I shoot at 30p in 5.6k Hyperview with hyper smooth stabilization enabled (no mods). I shoot in natural colour and set my white lance to 5000k. I also shoot in 10bit colour high quality to get the most robust images possible. For post production I’ll make all my tweaks in resolve but I do a custom export and I set the parameters to “force sizing to highest quality”. I find YT compresses the crap outta things so the higher resolution you shoot and the higher quality you export the better it looks. Yes my files are huge ;)
This vid is a gem. Loved it
🙌🏻
yeah, the colors, the close, synced riding, the trail selection... epic $hit.
